Probably the Danish one, its absolutley ridiculous how much buffs with the consumer goods and industry you can stack on, it really pairs well with the new international market
Ah yes, 1940s Marines with gatling lasers and plasma casters, the ability to summon evacuation transports by chanting "malarkey" and raiding the local beach, and making infrastructure spontaneously combust just by appearing on the other side of the province

The one paratrooper division being able to destroy the organization of all enemy divisions in a state is actually sort of accurate. The example of Normandy you gave? Yeah that actually happened. Although it was TWO American airborne divisions and I think one British airborne division. When they landed behind enemy lines the Germans were scrambling forces to deal with them. They didn't know where exactly they were, because even the airborne didn't know where they were. They all got scattered. And airborne training says if you can't find your objective, wreck sh*t. Cause a little chaos.
yeah but were the german garrison units on the beaches scrambling to mop up the allied airborne divisions? idk. but if they were then yeah its accurate its just too easy to launch naval invasions and paratrooper invasions in hoi4 in general i think.i would have thought the germans would have allocated special divisions to destroy the paratroopers, maybe those garrisoning normandy would have an org debuff, but not the ones on the ports. i was thinking maybe it could work like, all the divisions that the airborne division comes into combat with get a debuff just to illustrate how hard it is to defend against if you dont have a good enough airforce to prevent the launch in the first place.
What even was their normal objective if not to do a little trolling?
Forget not the pioneer section of the US airborne units that landed before D-Day itself had landed in the vicinity of a German infantry division who were training...
...for anti-paratrooper techniques.
Also forget not the literal hundres of dummy paratroops that were dropped all over the place,followed by the humans being equally scattered,with the Germans having basically told their commanders "they're everywhere".
Concentrated attacks are one thing,but a spread that coats everything is harder to clean up.
@@quichrlynno but in reality you don't actually have all yours guys sat in bunkers on the beachs ready to fend off invaders. Paratroopers (as well as a bit of sabotage done by the french resistance altbough it really was only a little bit, gets played up to be a lot more than it is) really fucked with the germans ability to bring up relief forces and not just the famous tanks that where going to push any allied footholds back into the sea, they didn't even bring up infantry to rotate into the coastal defences.

- Support divisions with multiplicative battalion modifiers will no longer be further multiplied by the number of division types of the target type in the template. Tl;dr: no mega artillery stacking with rangers now.

Not gonna lie I thought he would go for the MIO achievement with the US given it requires researching everything and building a million equipment (not literally but very close) and they're the easiest to do it with while also being able to do some warring without worrying about capitulation before the stuff is done
An update today only a few hours ago has already patched this from what they say.

the fact that you can now use marines to raid enemy coasts and then immediately run away without a port is funny, and I love it.
What if you land with the temporary harbors all over thr place then leave as the real troops land to fight.

Yep, there is someone at a paradox just adding tons of useless features, and wierd non-sensical stuff. you'd think it was corporate sabotage at this rate.

Like yeah someone falling on you and jamming a bayonet up your arse would probably make you a little less focused but HALF ORG!? FOR EVERY DIVISION!? Did they paradrop fucking Freddy Fazbear?
@@strategystuff5080 ngl I like the inclusion of Special Forces buffs. I like that if you focus solely on Special Forces you can get a division that matches tanks in stats but 2000 SOFT ATTACK! That means that adding a ranger gives similar attacking potential to a full 50w of nothing but Super Heavy SPA
You know how if you nuke a province with enemy units in it, they take a ton of damage, but it only drops it down to a certain point, doesn't just instantly defeat it?
This tactic there seems to be currently more powerful than outright NUKING enemy units, which... Yeah, that kind of says a lot, haha
I like to think that the rangers give the artillery perfect real-time information on the exact location of every enemy asset as well as perfect accuracy enabling them to always hit in the exact location to maximize damage. Like threading an artillery shell through the slit in a bunker or direct hitting enemy infantry

I don't think 40 org is horrible. Yes, the usual defensive unit would have around 50-55 org, but anywhere around 40 org is very good
iceland is now a puppet at the start, you must play them to complete A-Z
I don't usually read into all the specific division stats except width, but infantry seemed weirdly powerful since the DLC came out. Now I know why ;)
Anyone else noticed how the High Agility Fighter Designers (UK's Supermarine, Japan's Mitshubishi) give +100% air attack on all fighter + carrier fighter designs?

I recently got into Hoi4. I had no idea how to play a month ago, but now I know that 323 soft attack is just disgusting.
I had fun as Iceland playing this DLC. That's pretty cool to me. Oh, and also, the MIO mechanics are amazing and allow for cool opportunities for many countries. Can't wait to replay the major nations with this DLC

This DLC is just broken, especially the UK air designer "Supermarine" which makes the Axis have no chance in air war now.

Yeah just did my run as historical Finland. And omg can you stack defense and piercing. It was really stupid.
I've honestly loved just picking a neutral power and seeing how industrial i can get through war profiteering.
An hour after I watched this video I hopped onto HOI4 and see there already seems to be an update to fix it. Damn that was fast. Didn't even get to have any fun with the absurdity.

My first game yeaterday with germany and this dlc. Mauser arms factory everything for attack! I was able to win battles that were impossible before.
