The song is very suitable with this pairing, I've always loved this more dramatic version of it and your editing and timing hit the nail, truly a masterpiece as always. I liked the drama but the last few episodes were a little bit of a let down in my opinion; I've noticed over the years that I've watched Japanese dramas, especially crime/mystery/thriller, they're too nice. Like for example in this one they had ample opportunities to catch and kill the bastards who were behind the bombing but what they do? Blabber about, forgive them and then let them walk away like nothing happened, like traumatic experience has never been experienced by half of the party involved. Like how tf do you solve a murder and a mystery in this manner?! "Oh, please, police officer, handcuff me and let me tell you everything that I did and the reasons behind my every move, you don't have to actually figure it out with your puny brains!" is the vibe I always got when watching Japanese crime/murder mysteries, which is the reason I even rarely watch them anymore, Korean and British ones are more up to my alley. (Basically, I view humans to be imperfect, nasty pieces of shites most of the time as we are capable of doing horrific things to each other without batting an eyelid. That's why I am as cynical and cold hearted as I am and why I like more... let's say hard core crime dramas instead of this soft porn version of crime drama. Ok, wow, juxtaposing a crime drama to soft porn is a new one, but you get what I mean.) Damn, wasn't my intention to rain on anyone's parade but oh well, you'll get over it - eventually.
Haha I'm not going to challenge anything you said LEO, because I pretty much agree. Overall I'm glad that they are adapting more diverse stories in the BL world like crime dramas and social justice stories. The more indi productions have done some pretty cool things but ones like KeixYaku don't really measure up. That being said, what I did like about this show in particular was they had an amazing team. The cinematography was gorgeous and you can tell they had a clear look for the show. The casting was great and we had some kickass female characters. It's just sad the script didn't match the level of quality. They could have delved much deeper into the story than they ended up doing.
@@panpacifice I agree with you in every point. Somehow I always feel like they always hold back when it comes with crime and mystery dramas, like they're afraid to make it more sinister, darker or gruesome, more like the reality of crime is. But at least we're getting more interesting and new themes in these dramas, so that's one thing that even makes me interested in them.
Why the heck doesn't this video have more likes?!!! It's one of THE BEST fmv i heve ever seen (and I've seen A LOT 👀) ! The fast cuts are on perfect point with the music and every one of them have a meaning! oh when Ichiro makes that jumping kick! Dude i feel like I'm watching a freacking movie trailer!
