First time I went to the US what surprised me the most is the huge amount of medication ads on TV. And the fact that half of the ads time is spent on naming the risks.
I live here and I hate those ads. Like I always tell my mom, you'd be better off just being in pain with whatever you have. Seems like the medicine would kill you quicker than the actual condition you have

American's don't sue over coffee being too hot. That story is such a miscarriage of justice, that just won't go away. That lady suffered severe burns and required skin grafts to 20% of her body and racked up hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical bills. She only sued after MacDonald's blew her off. She won because MacDonald's own documents showed they knew they were serving coffee at scalding hot temperatures. The jury awarded her millions in punitive damages because they were infuriated at the callous disregard MacDonald's had shown during the trial. The lady then settled out of court for medical and legal fees, because that's all she had ever been after them for in the first place.

The McDonald's coffee thing, this woman had third degree burns to her GENITALS, and THIGHS, and only got three hundred bucks before she sued. This was a safety thing. I'm not even American or big on suing everyone, but I'm with the woman on this one.
+thadan99 I like how you refer to the murder of 4 people by a perpetrator wielding a blade as a massacre. I don't think you grasp the concept. And he said school shootings, not school killings. Because school killings happens all over the world. Teens are angsty and unstable universally. It's only in the US that they have access to guns.
That girl who sued McDonald's wasn't being frivolous, she had serious burns and needed skin grafts. She only wanted them to cover her medical bills, and she didn't actually get the money they settled for
Actually she was. When she ordered hot coffee, what did she expect it to feel like if it ever spilled on her? Was it McDonalds' fault she spilled the coffee? No of course not.
Ikr! It's just chemicals, it doesn't even taste like cheese, it taste like the rotten chemical version of cream cheese, also I don't understand why our cheese is like a bright orange lol
Ava Lawrence she was handed it in the drive thru and it spilled when they handed it to her (i believe? i might not rember correctly ill see if i can find a link)
+Nick Reynolds it spilled while it was sitting on her lap but she got TERRIBLE burns. Yes it was her fault it spilled but she was elderly and the coffee was at boiling temperature. She should have a bad sun burn from it not third degree burns that had her flesh falling off. I watched a documentary on it a while back! Lol
Another strange thing that only happens in America. People are famous for being famous, special talents/abilities are totally not required. (PS. And just about any clown can potentially be president!)
I didn´t want to put names of faces but I feel like America specializes on that making someone a big deal based on what they look like. I´ve been to other places where you see gorgeous/sexy, models like people if you will and they are just that, people just walking on the street and not feeling ultra special because of who they are, but is just that, beauty, physics. In some other places people do a LOT more than just having a pretty face or a hot bod, like speaking up to 5 languages and having some kind of talent. Have a great body? Cool, show it, but that is still not a special talent! Anyways....let´s just understanding it and move on!
3:08 The person who sued McDonalds over coffee had a legitimate reason to sue. The woman whose coffee spilled on herself got 3rd degree burns from the coffee, because the coffee was being heated to a temperature of 190 degrees Fahrenheit, 40 degrees higher than what McDonalds coffee was supposed to be heated to, and as a result, 3rd degree burns occurred on the victim's body even through her clothes in a matter of seconds, and she had to go to the emergency room. So don't make fun of it before you get your facts straight.
I know. We are usually the first ones to show up to help when a natural disaster hits and yet we are still slapped in the face. And as a people, we are one of the most charitable nations too.
I agree! The US is kind enough to help other countries with national disasters and poverty and hunger, and of course, war, but we're only seen as a fat, lazy country that does nothing.
+Sabird H. that is so true. America does alot to help, but we just get made fun of for it. And what about the red cross? we help protect after natural disasters like hurricanes or tsunamis, and those people diss us after we spend 5.0 million dollars to rebuild everything, we spend that money to rebuild their beloved houses, but we still get dissed. and the obese people, that is what all the other countries see us as, in fact most "obese" people arent even obese, they just are based off of that one scale chart. everyone made fun of my mom, because the doctor said she was obese, but honestly she was a stick she was skinny. it is just because she was based off that stupid scale chart. to be skinny you have to not eat anything ever. I am 13 and a girl at 82 pounds, i am considered over weight. to be "normal" you have to be 53 pounds, that is the most for "normal" weight. but anyway i agree with you😃
***** regardless, your country has it. other places, some1 might experiment to try it out, but it is only in america, that in certian parts of that that is a thing.
william francis America in English is also a continent, you could that is divided into North and South Americas. The country is officially named "United States Of America" and that goes for all languages.
DEJAH That is true, yes. But I'm not going to say "The United States of America" to refer to my country, I'm going to shorten to "America" because it's simpler and faster. And just look at the state I live in too, "The State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations". That is It's official name but people just call it "Rhode Island" because no one is going to say "The State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations", it is too damn long.
+Nikolay frakine actually,America IS the name of the continent. Saying America is a country and North America is a continent is like saying Europe is a country and Southern Europe is a continent
I'm an American (born and raised) and I also find the huge portions of food unbelievable so I always take it home as leftovers and that can sustain me for another day or so
casey gray do some research on other countries you will see the wonders beginning with laws to food but these are just differences not weird for them it is normal cause they used to it
ya i know right american is the only smart plus we where the first people that came up with the idea of phones, computer and websits and strongest army in the world so think befor u speek
+Lauren Smith Yeah, I'm American and I find that our sizes our WAY bigger than they should be. I don't go to fast food places a lot (going to kill that stereotype) and when I do I just get an ice tea. But I look at the cup and I think in my mind "damn that is NOT a small cup".
Another thing: for some strange reason, they LOVE to be filmed. Look at all the reality TV shows, or curious videos that happen so "casually", like wtf who records his/her life all the time?!
come on, who doesn't want to be filmed? btw, watch the UK's reality shows. One of them is like Jersey Shore but trashier than the Trashy Jersey shore...lol
People love to air their dirty laundry for public consumption to get their "15 minutes of fame". Attention seekers whose parents paid little attention to them during their formative years. Also a product of pop culture.
The woman who sued over coffee suffered 4th degree burns, was in a parked car, and wasn't even the driver. It does a disservice to what she went through to use it as a passing joke.
+Thomas Huffcutt she asked them to pay her medical bill for the skin graft she needed, they refused, she sued and was awarded the equivalent of one day of coffee sales.
That is true. When I was in school, most of the students would bring their water bottles EVERYWHERE. In the gym, at lunch, even in the classroom and at recess in elementary! Even when their taking a test. They have their water bottles at their sides.
As a non American, I think cheese in a tin can sounds very gross. BUT, I was very pleased when, on a strip, I ordered a burger with a pickle wedge on the side. Oh my goodness they know how to do pickles, but their cheese needs some work🧀
+Kindred Heart i'm American and i don't know anyone that actually uses those cheese in a can.. i mean whipped cream in a can.. yeah all the time.. but ... cheese? it doesn't surprise me at all that we have it.. we'd put anything in a can but that doesn't make it popular.. there's even a thing you can buy to make bacon bowls.. bowls made out of bacon..lol
+Kindred Heart People only use cheese in a can on crackers and stuff. It's something you bring camping or hiking. Personally, I don't mind it. But I wouldn't really call it cheese.
I never realized America has flags everywhere, until I lived in Europe and realized they were practically nowhere! I like to add shots of them to my travel videos and I usually had to hunt for them overseas.
I feel so honored to be born in the town where the first Walmart was built, and where the main home office is. It just makes me so happy for some reason.😂😊
Don't you mean we just hang in the sidelines until there's next to no fighting left to do? Oh, unless they insult our religion! Screw separation of church and state, they're gonna get it! (I hope you can figure out my sarcasm)
A lot of that isn't so strange over here in England. We have lawyers advertising "no win no fee" on things like accidents at work or accidents that weren't your fault. We are becoming a very litigious nation ourselves (a policewoman went to sue a petrol station for tripping over a kerb while she was on duty). Also, we have the fast food chains that offer "super size" portions (admittedly probably still not the size of American portions). Oh, and with fast food like burgers, we also get "pickles" but we call them gherkins. And I like the fact that America is so patriotic that its flag is flown "everywhere" too often over here people don't want to show a flag for fear of offending a group of people (who probably wouldn't be offended anyway). Finally, I like the fact that the students taking part in college sports are treated so well. For the very reasons stated at the end of this piece, they should be treated like this, they are playing for the love of the game, not for money and sponsorship.
At 0:23 and 1:28 , those are air rifles / BB guns, not actual firearms. That's why they're listed as $24 - $64 dollars. I think it's great that firearms are sold not just in gun shops, but at large general stores and gun shows as well. Firearms should be inexpensive and readily available to all eligible, responsible citizens.
Stirner Stuff91 you can argue about the "rights" you care about til youre red in the face, but until I see the rights upheld to free religion and racial equality, your rights to a well regulated militia can wait.
the Mc Donalds hot coffee law~suit was justified. the restaurant involved had been written up by the health department for having their coffee far over the 110 degrees it is supposed to be. that lady got third-degree burns in her groin and thighs that needed skin graft surgery and was horribly painful. look up third-degree burns, then picture them on your groin...yeah.
well, there is no forgiveness for the slime. but that "mc d's" was at fault. but they too have spin doctors... the lady was vilified in the press after all was said and done. SHAME MC Donald's!!!
"Burns that affect only the superficial skin layers are known as superficial or first-degree burns. They appear red without blisters and pain typically lasts around three days.[3][4] When the injury extends into some of the underlying skin layer, it is a partial-thickness or second-degree burn. Blisters are frequently present and they are often very painful. Healing can require up to eight weeks and scarring may occur. In a full-thickness or third-degree burn, the injury extends to all layers of the skin. Often there is no pain and the burn area is stiff. Healing typically does not occur on its own. A fourth-degree burn additionally involves injury to deeper tissues, such as muscle, tendons, or bone.[3] The burn is often black and frequently leads to loss of the burned part.[3][5]"
It was talking about the gun bit being weird. In 31 years in my country, I've never seen a gun so it would freak me out to see them at the supermarket.
Guns make a country safer and causes less deaths from what stats show so its not a bad thing that people have freedom and the government does not have 100% control :)
I was surprised at the Flag thing, that is very odd to me. But each to their own, I think people should be proud of where they are from. While I'm British I am proud to be, even if we have done awful things, we've done some great things, just like the States.
How can you be proud of a coincidence? I reckon you can only. Be proud of an achievement, like when you vote for a government to make life better, but since being born in a certain country is cheer luck, good or bad, there is no reason to be proud of your nationality. Patriotism is a bad thing.
The flags everywhere thing is so brain washy. Wow. I have been to the US and it creeped me out so much how everyone seemed to have exactly the same opinions of every issue. Everyone wanted to seem conservative to be polite or something but it really disturbed me. They were all trying to be nice I think??? Also race was such a huge deal there! Everyone seemed to put so much weight on their race as part of their identity... In Australia, the only people who have anything to say about race at all are the racist old people and normally they think they're being funny. Others (whether racist or not) don't want to say anything about race in case it starts a shit storm. The gun thing is outrageous. Americas gun laws are a disgrace. You can argue with me if you want but seriously, having it in the constitution doesn't actually make it an irrevocable right. It is an amendment and it can be amended again! If you think everyone having guns in the US is a good idea you're most likely a brainwashed American, yourself. I hate to break it to you but it is NOT the best country in the world. We all have our problems and those of you who think you're standing on top of the world should take a step back and take notice of your country's problems. Don't mind me, I'm just being a stereotypical angry Australian. ...mate. Or something.
Lol evidently. It's just something that gets under my skin. i had a terrible time in the US while I was there. It was probs just the particular areas I went, obviously, rather than the entire country.
Also the things I find strange 1)Why are Kardarshians so popular and how are they making so much money? 2)Why they go apeshit over Justin Bieber??!! 3)Why do they refer to football as "soccer"?? 4)Why do they refer to rugby as "football"? 5)Why do they always hate their president? 6)Why do they find baseball even remotely exiting? 7)Why are there SO MANY porn stars??(not that I'm complaining)
+Jayanth S As an American I can respond to this: 1) A lot of stupid people, but just like any other country we do it on a national level thanks to our abundance of televisions. 2) Everyone actually hates him. 3)The word soccer is actually a British term that Americans never outgrew. 4)We don't. Rugby =/= American Football. We have a clear distinction between the two. 5)Wild west mentality. Make it on your own with your trusty gun and don't trust the government. That sorta thing. 6)You mean exciting? Because it's a sport. You could also ask the Japanese this. 7)Hollywood :P
Holy Diver I'm sorry I didn't know grammar Nazi was in town..... You know,if only you were half as smart as you are sarcastic, you would have understood what I meant...**rolls eyes**
I seriously don't understand what's with Americans and Guns. Here in India if you wish to own a gun the amount of paperwork who have to go through is mind boggling and even after that almost 99.99% people are denied the licence to own a gun. Only huge public figures and politicians usually get permit that too only if there is genuine threat to them. Here government would rather provide you with police protection then allow you to own a gun.
+safnhuo I totally understand that there is history. But you people can literally buy in the mall. Everyone has access to it and then you have shooting ranges where people go to shoot as hobby or take out there frustration. At the end of the day it's a weapon that can end someone's life. There has to be more restrictions. All the horror school shooting stories I have seen on news is heart breaking. India's struggle and fight for freedom from the British was complete non-violent. It took its time but we made it happen. Gandhi defines non violence.
+Just Another Brown Boy It is to protect us from our government. Our constitution and bill of rights gives us this to stop tyranny. Unfortunately, our government has found other ways to do this. Trust me. If not for guns, this country would have become a dictatorship sooner than it is.
+Szymon Gorczynski I was there a few years ago, driving in an ROI reg car in a street covered in Union flags is unnerving; it's a very different statement being made there as opposed to the USA.
flags are one of the reasons why so many people Hate Americans. many tend to be nationalistic and have that brainwashed "we are the best like it or leave it" mentality. arrogant and simple minded. and a lot have nothing else to be proud of, so they choose an accidental birthplace as one. sad really
Kaneki Ken we barely ride horses (kinda only rich people do)we almost never wear cowboy stuff but when there's a huge event like a fair i swear evrey pearson puts on boots and hat's
I'm from Canada (Montreal) when I went to America on a trip the thing that wowed me the most are the drink machines at fast food restaurants! they have so much selection of drinks! And the coke had like 6 different flavours! XD
Yeah I once ordered a plate of garlic cheese fries and the serving was enough to feed a family of 5. Took me 4 days to almost finish it before giving up. The flag thing, the gun thing is ridiculous. The uni thing is cute. I forgot the others.
+TronBP but if no one was allowed guns, then maybe less school shootings would occur and maybe there would be less police shooting innocent people because they wouldn't have guns. America would benefit from a gun ban.
+just some unicorn Hillbillies can make a shotgun for under $12... just need two pipes... they make there own ammo too... crazy easy and now nerds are 3d printing guns...UA-cam it and let me know how effective a gun ban will be here
After watching a second time it occurred to me that the pickle thing is an odd thing to question America about. In Russia and most Slavic countries pickled fermented and even purified before And even meats are popular. Also in Germany there are many more pickled product made or bought and consumed .I also recall seeing travel shows about Korea that have entire specialty stores with nothing but pickled veggies.
there a food place, it's called european street. It's hella there, but if you order a PB&J, guess what? There's a pickle. Oh, you say you wanted an *insert european food here* ok. Here's your *european food* oops, I forgot the pickle. …i don't go there much anymore
It is weird for us Europeans. Specially Brits. The only people who have guns here in Britain are the airport guards. While you lot have guns in a supermarket!? It feels safer over here xD
Well i live in America and man that's just a little of what happens here. We choose to be different and unique we can't help we love our flag, and our guns, and food, were just like y'all we just think we're better.( which every country is better than others). We just happen to think were the best. So we do other things that we know are crazy but i'm use to it. Just another day in America!
The Richest needs to get out more, South Korea serves far more pickles (and corn) with or on food than the US. Soccer players are worshipped in Brazil more than football player in the US. Those from Eaton or Oxford are partial to their schools as well. Get a clue Richest.
Maybe you should get a clue and realise this video was about America. There is a reason they didn't name the video 'weird things about different countries'
yeah their portion sizes are huge. One time I went to KFC and ordered fried chicken. The chicken seemed like they took steroid or something. and their small drink could pass as a large
I ordered an small in everything once and I was like "sorry I said small please" and the waiter said it was. But holy shit it wasn't in Ireland that would classify as extra large
+chelksea18 The U.S. injects or feeds their chickens hormones so they get more meat off of the bird. Is is healthy? I doubt it. Is it safe? Probably not.
+chelksea18 Okay i live in America, AND IN THE SOUTH. So us southerners love our food and the portion sizes are HUDGE! Idk about up north but in the south the portion sizes are big...
They're big every where in the U.S. I think most of us think it's normal but listening to all the folks from other countries commenting on how big our portions are is what drew my eye to it and ya know what? They're right. Our portion sizes are too big for most of us to eat in one sitting. I never am able to finish my meal when I eat out but that's what doggie bags are for.
First time I went to the US what surprised me the most is the huge amount of medication ads on TV. And the fact that half of the ads time is spent on naming the risks.

+Sclasspsycho Sadly, most Americans don't even flinch at the portion sizes. They make sure they eat it all. And then go back for more.
I've lived at America almost my whole life and I find all this weird.
America, why are we so weird...?
+5soswolfVlogs it's not weird at all, i don't live in America and i've never been there, but to me it's not weird probably because i'm so used to everything by watching so many vloggers , documentaries, movies, sticoms, and people on youtube who unbox stuff, do house tours, hauls, store tours, city tours, etc. Really i don't know why someone would make a big deal out of flags being everywhere, or portions being too big? cough cough it's a cultural pastime in America.
That's not weird though. Happens all the time. It's just the norm. Go to school in America --> get shot. Happens all the time to me.
+jake webster Cough Cough -Hitler envy- cough cough
I'm in America and I find spray on Cheese is nasty.
Ikr! It's just chemicals, it doesn't even taste like cheese, it taste like the rotten chemical version of cream cheese, also I don't understand why our cheese is like a bright orange lol
...
I like spray-on cheese...XD
Samezy my sister try to make me eat it
It’s trailer trash food
I think it's worth mentioning that there is something to be said for citizens VOLUNTARILY being that proud compared to by force
the mcdonalds coffe thing: the woman got 3rd degree burns on her GENITALS, do you know how bad that hurts? they deserved to be sued.
I KNOW!! Everyone talks about this and it annoys me because no one knows what they are talking about
What happened? Did the staff spill it on her?
Ava Lawrence she was handed it in the drive thru and it spilled when they handed it to her (i believe? i might not rember correctly ill see if i can find a link)
Nick Reynolds damn, ok thanks
+Nick Reynolds it spilled while it was sitting on her lap but she got TERRIBLE burns. Yes it was her fault it spilled but she was elderly and the coffee was at boiling temperature. She should have a bad sun burn from it not third degree burns that had her flesh falling off. I watched a documentary on it a while back! Lol
Another strange thing that only happens in America. People are famous for being famous, special talents/abilities are totally not required. (PS. And just about any clown can potentially be president!)
***** Indeed!
I'm pretty sure that happens in all countries
+downunder diva Paris Hilton is irrelevant
I didn´t want to put names of faces but I feel like America specializes on that making someone a big deal based on what they look like. I´ve been to other places where you see gorgeous/sexy, models like people if you will and they are just that, people just walking on the street and not feeling ultra special because of who they are, but is just that, beauty, physics. In some other places people do a LOT more than just having a pretty face or a hot bod, like speaking up to 5 languages and having some kind of talent. Have a great body? Cool, show it, but that is still not a special talent! Anyways....let´s just understanding it and move on!
+downunder diva I know, but Paris Hilton is defiantly not as famous as she was
3:08 The person who sued McDonalds over coffee had a legitimate reason to sue.
A lot of flags? It's called being patriotic, because we love our country
There's a word for that! Nationalism.
except stupid kids now a days are stepping on the flag thinking it's funny
I love Scotland but I don't patronize a stupid flag!
{Wolf} Katana Like I said: Nationalism.
Then you see it was made in China........
The McDonald's coffee burn was horrific and McDonalds was rightly sued. Everything else is weird, I agree.
oh no HORRIFIC like the Holocaust that was also horrific um....... yeah a little bit different don't you agree?
You win stupidest comment of the year, Nick.
Despite its issues, I do love my country. People seem to forget that the U.S.A does good. I'd die to protect it and its people...
I am 13 and a girl at 82 pounds, i am considered over weight. to be "normal" you have to be 53 pounds, that is the most for "normal" weight. but anyway i agree with you😃
2awesomegirls Thank you!
2awesomegirls It's like everyone else takes advantage of our country's generosity and then insults us.
Okay, I live in the weirdest country....
Yup... And it's fukkin great
What country is it
Listen, a lot of Americans do not like cheese in a can. Including me
the fact is tho...that it exists there 0.0
just like deep fried mars bars or twinkies -_-
***** regardless, your country has it. other places, some1 might experiment to try it out, but it is only in america, that in certian parts of that that is a thing.
I was never able to have it, and I don't want to.
America fuck yeah!
I don't eat cheese in cans
Am I the only one who doesn't like Walmart?
I had bad experience with walmart as a kid your not alone :)
+melea lineberry A lot of the food is such bad quality.
Too many black people
+melea lineberry We don't have Walmart in Norway
I'm not sure about "Walmert", but I don't like Walmart.
The US* America is continent whether you like it or not.
+DEJAH América in Spanish refers to the continent, America in English refers to the nation.
william francis America in English is also a continent, you could that is divided into North and South Americas.
+william francis (nya) correct its common sense but people are being asses about just calling it "America"
I'm an American (born and raised) and I also find the huge portions of food unbelievable so I always take it home as leftovers and that can sustain me for another day or so
Born and raised in Nebraska, I think I've only had aerosol cheese/Easy Cheese once in my 31 years
I'm from Nebraska also
I think if a cheese does not need to be refrigerated you don't want to eat it.
i've never even seen it in a store.
what a coincidence! I to live in Omaha Nebraska
The Sonic Brother i live here too mwahahaha
i was born and live in the US and i find some of this stuff werid
our proportions of food, our prison system, the need 2 have flags out ALL the time, and the pickles, that stuff and a bunch more
casey gray do some research on other countries you will see the wonders beginning with laws to food but these are just differences not weird for them it is normal cause they used to it
even Donald Trump weird
2/3s of americans over weight/ obese is completely not true it really is only 1/3 which also sucks
Yes but there is a difference between overweight and obese so it is 2/3
+Patrick Fargis While it is 2/3 given the differences, even 1/3 is still ridiculous
ya i know right american is the only smart plus we where the first people that came up with the idea of phones, computer and websits and strongest army in the world so think befor u speek
marinekid 09 You're forgetting something, Americans evolved in Europe, Asia and Africa :p
+marinekid 09 actually, China's Army's Stronger
When I went to McDonald's in Florida, I found out that the American 'small' cup is our British 'large' cup. I finished just over a quarter of the cup.
Nice lie 😂😂😂
Lie lies everywhere
Wow very strange
+Lauren Smith Must not have been very thirsty.
I'm American and I was freaking baffled by over half of these facts!
***** yeah, pretty trashy. Thought Jersey Shore was, but Geordie shore in on another level. It made Jersey Shore lame...lol
Rima, where are u from?
Colombia
You forgot they eat nearly everything from a can.
I'm American and I never eat from cans... But I eat cheeseburgers and ribs.
fuck you, you racist!
actually barely any americans actually like those cheese shit.. makes me wanna throw up thinking about it
I agree. I think because it's cheaper.
+Fantasy of Weirdness do you realize how fucking racist you're being
The woman who sued over coffee suffered 4th degree burns, was in a parked car, and wasn't even the driver. It does a disservice to what she went through to use it as a passing joke.
Oh yeah people joke about it all the time.
+Thomas Huffcutt she asked them to pay her medical bill for the skin graft she needed, they refused, she sued and was awarded the equivalent of one day of coffee sales.
American always bring their water bottles with them
This is the dumbest comment I have ever seen in my life
+Takuma Mcdade I'm not even American I'm English
+Takuma Mcdade i saw this from a paragraph and this is kind of true
That is true. When I was in school, most of the students would bring their water bottles EVERYWHERE. In the gym, at lunch, even in the classroom and at recess in elementary! Even when their taking a test. They have their water bottles at their sides.
Yes, it is a thing. But I have never participated. You won't see me toting a water bottle everywhere.
easy cheese? wtf is that? I've never heard of it and I've lived in the u.s. my whole life
I have it irl right now xd
pfft how? BTW I live in the US and no.. I don't recommend eating Easy Cheese..
+MxCP11
I dont live in the US and i've heard of it.
Not sure i would call it ''cheese'' though.
+MxCP11 then you havent lived my friend
+MxCP11 That shit is amazing. Not sure what it is though.
As a non American, I think cheese in a tin can sounds very gross. BUT, I was very pleased when, on a strip, I ordered a burger with a pickle wedge on the side. Oh my goodness they know how to do pickles, but their cheese needs some work🧀
Yeah I'm American and the cheese is pure gross in a can.
Don't worry I'm American and can cheese is something I would never eat.
+Kindred Heart
i'm American and i don't know anyone that actually uses those cheese in a can..
i mean whipped cream in a can.. yeah all the time.. but ... cheese?
it doesn't surprise me at all that we have it.. we'd put anything in a can but that doesn't make it popular..
there's even a thing you can buy to make bacon bowls.. bowls made out of bacon..lol
+Kindred Heart no-one really likes that cheese anyways
+Kindred Heart People only use cheese in a can on crackers and stuff. It's something you bring camping or hiking. Personally, I don't mind it. But I wouldn't really call it cheese.
I'm Canadian, and holy shit canned cheese is literally so good. Like, damn. It just sucks that it's so far away!
Aww I feel so bad for you I live in America but it's so you don't get to have the good cheese I wish you lived here it's fun
Yoshi07 Fluffy07 I bet. Hopefully in a few years I'll be comming down there to meet some friends
Angelina Sambuca TRUE
Opium is also good
FaZe Kris W Never had it
3:33 you know that kid was asking, "You gonna eat that?"
AMERICA - FUCK YEAH!
COMIN' AGAIN TO SAVE THE MOTHER FUCKIN' DAY YEAH!
Don't you mean we just hang in the sidelines until there's next to no fighting left to do? Oh, unless they insult our religion! Screw separation of church and state, they're gonna get it! (I hope you can figure out my sarcasm)
+Luna Lapilli my hat goes off to you on this comment.
tell that to iraq and afghanistan lil
wtf xp
Jeffery Peters America was profiting from the war
A lot of flags it's called supporting our country
america is weird!i still wanna go there tho!
Me 2
it's not as weird as it sounds
I live here, and I can tell you that it really isn't that weird. It's actually very normal.
+Autumn swiftnest True to the bone.
I want to go there but only as a tourist.
The flag thing for me is very beautiful. I think that being proud of your country is a good thing.
Sorry Alick Zander The Great
At 0:23 and 1:28 , those are air rifles / BB guns, not actual firearms. That's why they're listed as $24 - $64 dollars.
I think it's great that firearms are sold not just in gun shops, but at large general stores and gun shows as well. Firearms should be inexpensive and readily available to all eligible, responsible citizens.
Andrew Stephenson shall not be infringed, from my cold dead hands, molon labe, etc. etc. B^]
Mc Donalds pink slime
well, there is no forgiveness for the slime. but that "mc d's" was at fault. but they too have spin doctors... the lady was vilified in the press after all was said and done. SHAME MC Donald's!!!
I wouldn't wish that upon anyone....
No, that is not what a third degree burn is. Look up some pictures. Then get back to us.
Other countries don't have supermarkets? That must suck
+There is No Need To Be Upset we do have super markets... but not ones that sell tires or GUNS
LIKE WHY WOULD YOU SELL GUNS IN A SUPERMARKET LIKE THATS JUST STUPID
+Leanne G How? It's not your normal market. its a SUPER market made for convenience.
popojoeexplode USA! USA! USA!
AlphaJNitro007 how is it convenient to have a gun?
What's so weird about buying everything from the same store? all countries have hypermarkets (well, not selling guns, but still . . . )
It was talking about the gun bit being weird. In 31 years in my country, I've never seen a gun so it would freak me out to see them at the supermarket.
lol we have guns here at the mall, but they are airsoft, as gun-powder propelled bullet guns are illegal here
+edbadyt YA WE HAVE GUN STORES
Guns make a country safer and causes less deaths from what stats show so its not a bad thing that people have freedom and the government does not have 100% control :)
on the other hand, in the 2003 war, 45 US tanks destroyed more than 2000 Russian made tanks Saddam had
the mc Donald coffee being too hot at one point was actually too hot. the coffee before McDonald lower the temperature can give you 3rd degree burn.
Wow, I just realized how agro this comment seems when reading over it again. That wasn't actually intentional. LOL
Is there such a thing lke an aggro Aussie??? Never knew...
Lol evidently. It's just something that gets under my skin. i had a terrible time in the US while I was there. It was probs just the particular areas I went, obviously, rather than the entire country.
after watching this i'm staying in the uk
Good thing because some people just can't handle that awesomeness of America. I absolutely love it here.
fms alle and i in the Czech Republic
You should make a series of this... Every country..
Also the things I find strange
1)Why are Kardarshians so popular and how are they making so much money?
2)Why they go apeshit over Justin Bieber??!!
3)Why do they refer to football as "soccer"??
4)Why do they refer to rugby as "football"?
5)Why do they always hate their president?
6)Why do they find baseball even remotely exiting?
7)Why are there SO MANY porn stars??(not that I'm complaining)
1) I honestly have no idea
2) No one likes him anymore lol
3 &4) idk we're weird okay
5) Not ALWAYS
6) I personally hate baseball
7) lol no idea
+Jayanth S As an American I can respond to this:
1) A lot of stupid people, but just like any other country we do it on a national level thanks to our abundance of televisions.
+Jayanth S Answer to number 5. they make promises they can't keep.
+Jayanth S um 7) Exciting? We are not exiting a car or building.
It's more of a hobby here
+safnhuo I totally understand that there is history.
***** Do you deny that this is in the constitution and bill of rights? Yours or my personal opinion has nothing to do with these facts.
***** Why do you assume i'm a conservative. I just stated facts. Those facts ARE history! What the hell?
Some of the pictures of "guns" your using are bbguns, in the first pic you can see "daisy " which is a bbgun brand
The second one is so true! Some Australians and Kiwis came here and they were so amazed when they saw walmart, but it's not that great a store..
USA eats half of the world's supply of chocolate, too.
Flags everywhere? You've never been to Northern Ireland...
+Szymon Gorczynski I was there a few years ago, driving in an ROI reg car in a street covered in Union flags is unnerving; it's a very different statement being made there as opposed to the USA.
+MollyPrewittWeasley Oh God help you haha.
flags are one of the reasons why so many people Hate Americans. many tend to be nationalistic and have that brainwashed "we are the best like it or leave it" mentality. arrogant and simple minded. and a lot have nothing else to be proud of, so they choose an accidental birthplace as one. sad really
Well I don't here anybody saying "we are the best" I hear more people trying to "leave it" rather than "like it" and I live in America.
AlphaJNitro007 uhh. What? It happens literally everywhere. And any criticism Is met with the "like it or leave it " you clearly don't get out much
+Mario Pendic I live in America and I don't hear it either
I have never heard anybody ik (lives in USA) that's says were the best gotta actually live here to know how things r here
+AlphaJNitro007 you dont see it anywhere??? There are millions of 8 year old Americans spamming 'MERICA' all over the internet.
The school obsession is definitely my grandma, she got me and my sister tshirts for her granddaughter's college.
I have never seem a gun in any store I have been to and I live in the USA
Have you ever been to Pennsylvania? There are guns and ammo everywhere! You can go to my local Wal-Mart and pick up a gun right now.
i see them at the walmart here all the time
Fashion and jewelry stores don't carry guns.
+UrDrunkTeddyBear WAT DA FUK I NEVER SEE THEM IN USA!! THE ONLY TIME I SAW ONE WAS WHEN
I BOUGHT A BB GUN WITH MY STEP DAD WHEN I WAS 7 OR 8 AND I'M 9
walmart quit selling good guns several years ago after too many had their feelings hurt: {
You mean Tesco
Lol
Hey guys what do you think of Texas
As an asian I always think of texas as drug dealers, guns, horses and all other stereotypes
I'm racist and I find this Asian
+queen minion E.
When I hear Texas I think of oil barons, anti-enviromentalism, gun nuts, hillbillies, racists and Larry Hagman.
Aivottajalol so stereotypical 😂😂😂👍
Kaneki Ken we barely ride horses (kinda only rich people do)we almost never wear cowboy stuff but when there's a huge event like a fair i swear evrey pearson puts on boots and hat's
I'm from Canada (Montreal) when I went to America on a trip the thing that wowed me the most are the drink machines at fast food restaurants! they have so much selection of drinks! And the coke had like 6 different flavours! XD
I live in Mississippi and I really wanna go to America 😉
Do we really care what others think about America
lucky43113 sure
Right
I'm American and I've never seen guns lol
You've never seen A SINGLE GUN? I see one literally everyday my dad has one since he was a police officer *retired*
Firestar Fan at walmart
You probably live in Washington or somewhere where guns aren't as common :D I live in Texas and Walmart sells guns here
I've only lived in both Arizona and Virginia but almost every Walmart there and here has guns.
Then you didn't look. Especially in the South, every Wal-Mart sells rifles and shotguns......they quit selling pistols years ago though.
This is so spot on!
Yeah I once ordered a plate of garlic cheese fries and the serving was enough to feed a family of 5. Took me 4 days to almost finish it before giving up. The flag thing, the gun thing is ridiculous. The uni thing is cute. I forgot the others.
Smh.
Your allowed to buy guns only with a licenese in America and its also used for self-protection if being harmed
+TronBP but if no one was allowed guns, then maybe less school shootings would occur and maybe there would be less police shooting innocent people because they wouldn't have guns. America would benefit from a gun ban.
+just some unicorn Hillbillies can make a shotgun for under $12... just need two pipes... they make there own ammo too... crazy easy and now nerds are 3d printing guns...UA-cam it and let me know how effective a gun ban will be here
US: Communism has so much propaganda!!
US: * US THEMED THINGS FOREVER *
I'm american chill
Yeah, but we don't force you to listen to broadcasts and you don't get turned in for not being patriotic enough.
***** In a way.
I'm so so so proud to be AMERICAN!!!!!!!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Cause I get all of this stuff!
Chewbacca lover SO???!!! Nobody gives a shit!!!
Alfred F. Jones anyone?
no?
ok bye.
Yes!
Hetalia!
OMG YES!
Of course!
I can't escape my fandom wherever I go T^T
none of these things are weird.... probably because i am an American and i live in America
very true :)
Another weird thing. Slim Jesus
America is weird, but I still love it and glad I call it home!!!!
Ok, I'm american and I still don't know why there are pickles by our food... it's so random.
Same lol
Because they're delicious, of course!
there a food place, it's called european street. It's hella there, but if you order a PB&J, guess what? There's a pickle. Oh, you say you wanted an *insert european food here* ok. Here's your *european food* oops, I forgot the pickle.
…i don't go there much anymore
THE USA IS NOT WEIRD I LIVE THERE AND ITS GREAT
I live here and its not great...have you seen the tons and tons of problems recently? Hell no its not, its weird, messed up, and criminally violent.
ok then go move to mexico
+Fate862 Ikr I dont feel safe anymore and its summer vacation right now!
It is weird for us Europeans. Specially Brits. The only people who have guns here in Britain are the airport guards. While you lot have guns in a supermarket!? It feels safer over here xD
+Osama Bin Lager we never have guns in supermarkets that's crazy!! we have gun stores
YAY! I Love Living In This Weird Country!!!
One time my parents went grocery shopping and heard a lady yell "GET YOUR PICKLES RON"
Yep. Every country likes to think they're the best, but when America says it, it's somehow not okay.
+Sabird H. exactly and you can't drink chinese tea in the uk so I will never go there
agreed i don't know why people get offend by the truth or offend when we don't do what other countries do smh

The cheese thingy is disgusting and no one ever uses that at all. *i live in America
There is a reason they didn't name the video 'weird things about different countries'
scarletfluerr because they actually play what it is called football not soccer
I'm American, but I live in california, so this video doesn't seem relevant to me
I'm American. I am creeped out by Aerosol cheese, think pickles disgusting, and stunned by the portion sizes.
yeah their portion sizes are huge. One time I went to KFC and ordered fried chicken. The chicken seemed like they took steroid or something. and their small drink could pass as a large
+chelksea18 ARE U CALLIN ME FAT?!
I never am able to finish my meal when I eat out but that's what doggie bags are for.
the land of prisons and crimes.America!!!
Duh why would other countries hang american flags everywhere in their country
I live in the US and didn't think these things were weird until seeing this video
