How to install pond liner and skimmer in sleeper pond
In this pond I am installing a pond liner into my sleeper pond and install a kockney koi skimmer wide mouth skimmer.

Couple of points. When fitting a liner make sure all folds face same way and not facing towards your returns. That way the folds won’t collect any crap or waste. Also I wouldn’t have cut and secured the liner until you have completely filled the pond. Water pressure will push the liner tight to sides and corners so may start pulling on the liner fastenings. Same with the skimmer. Fit, fill, drain then cut and fit skimmer is the way I’d have done it.

ill be honest i would of filled it up first before any cuts were done.

just my opinion but i will never know what the obsession is with pond liners, they look horrid,no matter how good you are at putting them in,creases fill with nasty bacteria and as i sad just my opinion make the pond look basic, ive always waterproofed rendered concrete mix and painted it with pond paint with G4 over that ,after 12 years i re coated last month and it looks as good as the day i made it ,the bottom drain and skimmer are much easier to fit as well
