    I’d like to mention one of my favorite lines in the base game. In Eunie’s side story X says “I was told Nopon weren’t supposed to interfere. I guess they were wrong.” or something similar. This fits very well with the theory that they’re somehow exempt from the rules for one reason or another.

    Interesting vid and I like your theories! I do think it's kinda funny to think that there are a bunch of "immortal" Nopon infesting Aionios and Moebius can't be bothered to do anything about them.

      @@miscalotastuff733may or not be related, but I have two theories regarding why Bionis and Alrest share some species/fauna
      1) as pneuma and logos gathered info from blades which gathered info of species and evolution and Ontos received feedback/info from those two.
      2) as Zanza is Klaus' soul and Klaus was somewhat awarw of what was happening on the other side (and he received info from the master blades/aegises). Maybe Zanza received some of that or shared certain but limited thoughts, and he, as the Bionis, (re)creates those species that were evolving in Alrest.

    It seems like most of the nopon we see were born in Aionios and operate under the same rules as the city folk, barring any connection to Ouroboros. It's just the seven legendary nopon blacksmiths who were immortals and had their ages hidden in the base game, Burrburr of course being one of them.

    I just assumed the reason why not everyone got assimilated into origin was mostly due to an error or glitch within the system due to Z taking control. The reason why the nopons are there, imo, was mostly on Melia part on freeing them before getting capture by Moebius. I could be wrong but it most logical head canon i got.

      What we can see in the base game about Nopons is that they were bot united as before, they either work with Agnus and Keves or split into different caravans.
      Maybe as the Frontier Village tree was poisoned and we can oonly see the remains of it (platforms, houses, riki's grave).
      I would like to think that Moebius didnt consider them a threat after dividing them (divide and conquer). Maybe due to the grave, Riki died there in a last stand when Moebius wasnt in full control yet. Melia could have freed them and then this happened, but I don't know about the Alrest Nopons.

      Even of he was a Machina-hom hybrid, his lifespan should still surpass that of the average homs.
      Nia used the term human with Mio, so I wonder if they used the term human before Aionios in Bionis and Alrest. As a way to keep the people more united/less racist?

      @@imperfectworks7064 Do we even know if Homs genes shorten an interracial Machina-Hom’s lifespan? It doesn’t necessarily have to work like Half-Elves in D&D. IIRC High Entia-Homs mixed people in XC1 had ages in line with their pure High Entia brethren, like Melia’s (88y) half-brother Kallian (151y) is more pure and was almost double her age and clearly appeared much more physically mature than her. But to be fair, this may be a case of stretching genetics for Machina as at least High Entia and Homs shared a Titan, so diversified genetic immunity at this separation wasn’t going to hurt them (IRL genetically diverse humans from across the globe have better health), whereas a Bionis native and Mechonis descendant can certainly bear children, but could be like the Half-Elves mentioned earlier. We don’t really know as Homs-Machina (or a Mr. Worldwide mix of Homs-Machina-High Entia) only became a thing as contact became a thing late into XC1’s storyline if Shulk and party are attentively doing the Colony 6 reconstruction project* at the earliest.
      *which most certainly must be canon, I hope, as I believe in series w/ one ending (or has a “true” ending) that the player completing all the side quests is canon unless proven otherwise. Kingdom Hearts kind of does this as KH2 acknowledges Sora doing all of the optional Colosseum tournaments which I didn’t do because I sucked at that style of action RPG to be confident.

      @@corrinflakes9659 I hope its canon, those Black Liver Beans were hard to find. Maybe its the town we see in the opening of XC3 but evolved? As Colony 9 is in the right side of Bionis head and Alcamoth was on the left side in the flashbacks.
      MAYBE, as Machina kids used ti grow in mobile craddles, the first generation of homs-machina hybrids were conceived in that way as those species didn't have compatible organs in that regard.

    Great video!
    I think the protagonists aren't part of the cycle because they weren't afraid of the future, since that is the thing that created and powers Moebius in the first place. Especially after fighting so hard for their futures during the events of their games. The main party of xenoblade 3 also learns to not be afraid of the future during the final battle as well.

    • @imperfectworks7064
      @imperfectworks7064  Рік тому

      Maybe to be assimilated in Origin you needed to be afraid and resonate with the Moebius wish (fear of uncertainty), like most of the population under that circumstances (no guarantee that origin would work or them recreated would be themselves or a copy). I imagine that asides from them, other XC1 and XC2 party members were not assimilated aswell and might have been hunted down by Moebius as they don't contribute to the flow. Or may have joined the lucky seven.

    nopon them self appear to have long life spans anyways to begin with. hard to say if the nopon sage of 9999+ years is something to consider or not, but it does seam likely that a couple of them could live through all the events of aionios, potentiolly with help of the situation of aionios. also i dont think we ever see a death of a nopon in aionios to see which type of death they have to compare to the other characters.

    • @imperfectworks7064
      @imperfectworks7064  Рік тому +3

      They weren't younger, they had shorter hair and 2 eyes respectively. Their 3D models are identical except for the hair and eye. Even if aging stopped, they need to eat (taking animals life energy out of the flow in the process) and I guess thats why Shulk's hair grew. Rex's beard was already in the Alvis fight so no issue with him
      Indeed they have been fighting Moebius for a while, quite a while if we consider the amount of Noah's and Mio's that have been born by that time and Ghondor.

      We know their decendents at least, and how some houses have an alliance while others are rivals. I guess they eventually died in battle. As After the defeat of Alpha, the compact is done and Moebius would resume hunting them. Additionally, Ouroboros tech was still being worked on and it must have caught their attention, eye patches were not made yet.
