It was one of those nights in his care that the storm was brewing and its thunders boomed too loud for your small ears. As the fire crackled in the back snape held you in his arms and read and sang to you to help distract you from your fears. He’d dry your tears and hold you tight until your little eyes shut and you drifted off to sleep. He realizes now that his always was no longer the late Lily but the little one in his arms who he slowly became to see as his own.
Imagine the first time I saw him was in Robinhood prince of thieves and it was the 26 December of 1991. At the time I was only 11. Now I'm 42 still hopelessly searching for a man lookalike him a bit...thats a catch 22... I'll always love him . Hope he knows it from heaven.
This is like an alternate reality where Snape has a secret house elf or orphan he rescued and takes care of. He reads them muggle stories, teaches them languages, and sings, sharing with them his softer side no one else knows about... An alternate reality where he never dies but, makes it safely home and cuddles by the fire with them here instead. When you miss Alan and Snape, imagine him here. Peaceful.

it’s been a while since i wrote this comment and when i wrote that comment i had joined the hp fandom a week before- i never read the books or watched the films until then and now i have read three of the books and watched the films and stand by what i said. Also i think i dislike is when people say snape was obsessed with lily but i think james ones, he constantly bothered her until she said yes- Lily wasn’t looking for a relationship but the day she did she of course went to james cause james constantly told her he loved/liked her and snape said nothing and james would want her attention snape was just happy being around her- like idk they seemed happy together but like james -it seemed like he just harassed her constantly for a bit of her attention cause keep in mind she didn’t like him at first, as soon as she said no he couldn’t stopped but he didn’t he kept on bothering her until he got her and he wanted her to be his. Now that sounds more like obsession than snape ever was- if people think snape was obsessed with lily i think that’s crazy- he was just in love and wanted to protect her son for her sake, to make up for all the bad he did.

Sorry but I actually started laughing when I heard him sing for the first time. I have struggled with sleep related rhythmic movement disorder due to my autism my whole life. I have struggled with sleep related rhythmic movement disorder due to my autism my whole life.
