Considering we don't know what Chilli's mother's name is, on a Bluey Family Tree I drew (just the names so technically wrote not drew.) I simply referred to her as "Mrs. Cattle” or I guess I could have put her name down as Illihc.
If you actually look at Chili's family photo hung on the wall that's not Brandy next to Chili's mom, it's a completely different pup then Brandy. Look very closely at the color and patterns then look at a picture of Brandy.
It looks like chili is the older pup and Brandy is the younger one, next to the father

The one next to the father in that picture is definitely Chili as a child but the other pup is off beige, half of pup's face and arm is this color which is the color that the whole family shares. Beige, brown and red. However, Brandy has a white ear on the opposite side of her mother's, her chest is white and half of her leg is white. If you look at her leg that has the white it ends with her foot being red however the mysterious pup has red legs and beige feet. Brandy shares the red and browns but no one in the family has that white but her O.o....

I just looked at the character chart you show in the video and counted how many Male and Female characters there are to see which one takes up more of a majority in the show. From the characters I was able to count these are the results I got...
Male Characters = 39
Female Characters = 49
😢So as you can see from those results, despite how near perfect Bluey is (second only to Arthur from PBS Kids in my opinion), the very sad truth of the matter is that Bluey (the TV show not the titular character) is not perfectly balance, as all things should be.
... Thanos would be very displeased.
It doesn't matter in Bluey, the number of characters gender ratio. It's how those characters are shown and how often they are.
The show is about two little girl sisters and while it may not be super balanced, that isn't a problem with Bluey ngl.
It takes away the creative freedom if the show is forced to be about a brother and a sister and have the same amount of male characters as females... And well, that isn't what the creators of Bluey are trying to do with their show, to have the genders perfectly or very closely balanced.
I find the truth of the matter to be that, as long as things aren't unfair and hurtful, things should be in harmony rather than perfectly equal; so not every show has to follow the same rules of how many female vs male characters they have because that could take away special things about the show in the way it is. And if the show is meant to be more of a balanced show and more open to all, then they could show the male characters just as much as the female ones. But I think that Bluey is a free and open fun show mainly about two sisters, and originally about their dad playing with them, I think that Bluey has more of a focus on the female characters and they balance the episodes with the feel and the style to make it appealing to boys or girls. I think we both agree that Bluey is still amazing anyway even if it has a bigger focus on female characters and that's something about it that makes it more unique.
... So Thanos' worldview was flawed
@@eglol I guess in retrospective (or perhaps even "nitrospective") that the numbers aren't really in that big a difference from each other 39 Males out of 49 females, round both numbers to their nearest tens that makes them now 40 out of 50 which is only a minus ten difference giving the show a 60/40 split with character gender ratio... so yeah I suppose (after coming up with all that math-ness) that the balance isn't really as off as what it could be.
But now if the character gender ratio were to be 80/20 or 90/10 then I think that I would have every obligation to be upset.
