- Derrick Henry is now the running back for the Baltimore Ravens and the impact of his ability and power will be complimented as never before as he lines up alongside 2-time MVP Quarterback Lamar Jackson. How will this duo work in reality though? Will they dominate all that stand before them with their combination of speed and agility? Or will the offense be to top-heavy and unbalanced as defenses sell out to stop the run? I'm excited to find out but I think we are all leaning towards the latter. Enjoy!

Well, I think our offense (run game) will be amazing . We'll see if Harbs decides to Zag again come playoff time. Gus Edwards was a pretty god back, but he only got the ball a very limited amount in a couple of playoff games !
I'll be honest with you, I thought the coaches were going with a game plan somewhere to what they did in Tampa Bay a couple years back. Throwing like crazy in the first half only to run it down their throats and exhaust them in the second half. If the coaching staff wastes the potential of this backfield in 2024 I think I'm going to find myself on the other side of the Harbaugh argument.

Great analysis….my only issue is I feel that Lamar should only scramble, if needed, no designed runs for him. Their motto should be *”JUST MOVE THE CHAINS!”* Monken likes to spread the field so that is the perfect opportunity for both Lamar and Derrick to feast.
I agree that his ability to scramble is one of the reasons he's so dangerous. And to your point, that's why I mentioned that Lamar calling his own designed runs at the line of scrimmage based on what he sees the defense doing is a great option that Monken is smart to have given him. We just have to hope he doesn't overdo it trying to be Superman. 😅

Thanks man haha like I said I can't blame the coaches too much for giving him the ball when it works! As far as the live stream Ive been thinking about going live after games to give me thoughts and chat with you guys about what happens in the games. I appreciate the support!

Thanks! I'm really excited to see how the offense uses the gravity Derrick Henry creates. I loved Gus Edwards, but Derrick Henry is truly an anomaly in the NFL. Let's hope the Ravens can find a balance between utilizing his skills in keeping him rested/healthy for later in the season. It's going to get real interesting if Keaton Mitchell comes back healthy 👀
@@jordanBmore22 Yeah, can't wait for Mitchell as well - but I've been thinking they need to be conservative with King Henry to keep him fresh for the playoffs. We will see how they balance it in about a week!

True and it was mentioned a while ago by James and Glenn from 410 Sports Talk that Lamar may be focusing on flexibility so if he's sacked or in a pile when tackled he is less likely to strain or tear something.
@@jordanBmore22hmm. Never thought about that. I was more concerned with him going down with weight when hit but maybe this option is better for flexibility and being more slippery when being tackled
CMC was held to 3.5 yards per run in the Superbowl teams can and will adjust to the run game.
The good teams will for sure, but Lamar's ability to run as well as pass is what makes him so dangerous. He's been out leader in rushing yards for the last 5 years AND has a career passer rating of 98. But I get what you mean, Ravens can't be a one trick pony.
