Springville Center for the Arts / Update on Winter Weather Event

Erie County Executive Mark C. Poloncarz joined Deputy Commissioner of the Department of Environment and Planning Thomas Baines and leadership from the Springville Center for the Arts to view recent renovations to the historic 1869 former church.
The Cultural Capital grant of $500,000 was utilized to reconstruct the former sanctuary/theater space at the Center to improve accessibility, seating, backstage space, and technical capacity. Work also included the installation of a heat pump and HVAC units, piping steel work, and outside window trim.
County Executive Poloncarz also provided an update on the ongoing winter weather event and extreme cold.
