Front pillar from B main has me dead. I pray that eventually we start use north south east and west from the mini maps perspective. Solves any confusion especially with how often people call right and left.
More of a mouthful, but could always say Main Pillar and Ebox Pillar. I do think Front Pillar works fine because I see B Main as front of site while platform and Ebox are more the back of site
rating 2.0 is heavily kast favoured a 16 kill 8 death player with 80% kast can have 1.5-1.6 rating but a 13 and 8 player with 100% kast can have the same rating if not higher, its really stupid but also opening kills, adr, kills per round and deaths per round factor in my biggest mystery is why players like frozen can have 0.6 kpr but have 1.15 rating but ropz on 1.15 rating has to have 0.75 kpr even though the eyetest shows ropz did better what stat is players like frozen dominating in that gives the a higher rating despite low kills and eyetest not the highest impact, also this includes zywoo in bad maps by his standards for some reason zywoo can have a 1.05 rating going -2 when eye test he was silent and couldnt find impact thats the mystery of hltv 2.0 rating i cant figure out but usually its kast favoured (ofc kill to death ratio factored, u cant have a high rating going -10)then opening kills, adr etc alter the rating
on my phone atm so have a hard time elaborating, but this guy has gone in depth on the data of hltv ratings before (and is a great follow for cs analytics) x.com/luzraposa - hes the one that said he found something like 97% correlation between k/r and rating 2.0 thx for your input btw like reading content like this
@@itsvoo nw, but i still think kast is quite favoured, ive seen it all where players can have a higher rating based of kast even with less kills and more deaths and similar adr, and they are not an entry so it cant be an opening kill thing
lmao man lm pretty sure it's not just kpr that matters, literally take a look at the previous map from that game, where shiro went 15-8 with 100 adr, and donk was 20-16 with 70 adr, and shiro got a much higher rating, despite the faact that he got 5 less kills. and that was obviously either due to dpr, adr, or both (and l really assume it's the latter)
One thing to remember with rating is that it is based on a comparison between the two teams. So if a majority of players have low KDs, than an 'even' (or close to) KD is actually 'okay' for that game. Edit: Just looked at the game closer and KD is pretty even across the board. FlameZ got a 1.36 with a KD of only +2. Only Sh1ro bucked the trend, so -1 is close to the median. Add in Donk's 'impact' and OpKill ratings and these lift him up despite an avg KD.
Also, I think it has been a criticism of Rating 2.0 that it puts more emphasis on ADR than KPR and too much value on KAST over KD. (ADR and KAST were key stats that were added to Rating 1.0 to make Rating 2.0) Comparing Donks Dust2 from the same series, might show this: Dust2 Donk (Spinx) KAST: 68.2% (81.8%) KD: +4 (+5) ADR: 72.5 (83.7) KPR: 0.91 (0.68) Rating: 1.15 (1.29) Anubis Donk (ZywOo) KAST: 86.4% (77.3%) KD: -1 (0) ADR: 86.6 (70.2) KPR: .73 (0.68) Rating: 1.18 (1.05) I included ZywOo and Spinx from each map to show where their KD is similar but produced different ratings based on the aforementioned stats bias. I'd have to look more in depth to find other differences.
@@RobCooper-Bachatador agreed thats why frozen can have 0.67 kpr and a 1.15 rating some event while ropz on a 1.15 rating has 0.75 kpr, its just frozen's kast is higher but eyetest shows ropz outputed more frags and was better they should change hltv rating to favour kpr because no matter what, kpr is the king stat and best stat to use for output thats why no one will touch prime s1mple and donk because they are the onlyones who can average 0.88kpr or higher while zywoo's peak was 0.84 i think and i think coldzera was 0.8-0.82 also s1mple can average 0.9kpr for a stretch and donk is currently averaging more then 0.9kpr and it shows on the server, they just dont stop killing and that is why ill never use rating for zywoo vs s1mple, i use kpr and eyetest

Negative means nothing, you have to be a noob to think KD matters in cs. It does to an extent but not in cs. Your damage per round reigns above all
I would say kd matters for awpers, adr for riflers
@@TheAngryBiscuitchannel228 true, forgot about awpers KD matters. Well Kill per round not KD

@@itsvoo yes you can’t be so extreme. Going negative with high adr and winning is more than normal. On the other hand if you have 3 thats an issue
