- Pharmacovigilance or PV refers to the pharmacological science that relates to the process of researching, detecting, assessing, analyzing and preventing all possible adverse impacts of medicines, both long term, and short term. It also includes collection and evaluation of useful information from patients as well as healthcare providers on adverse impacts of all types of medicines to identify any new information on medicinal hazards and also prevent potential harm to patients.
Required skillset for Pharmacovigilance
For any aspiring candidate to specialize and become DSS (Drug Safety Scientist), one needs to have the following skillset:
Knowledge of Medical coding
Narrative and Scientific writing
Good understanding of medical terms
Basic knowledge of regulatory affairs, ICH-GCP, and other compliances
An eye for detail
Ability to maintain meticulous records
Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills
Effective Communication
Systematic Approach to Tasks
Good interpretive skills.

Thats a really nice video. Since, I am into pharmacovigilance as a medical reviewer I can say that its really one of the best options for both BDS and MDS. It really gives you a good amount of salary. Once you are in this field, there is no looking back.

I advise you to never visit a dentist even if u are in pain. You have no respect for dentist.
My sister qualified Bds from a well reputed college . Even After 10 yrs of degree. She is at 30 k per month that too with insurance. She switched to teaching now.
