It looks like an obsession to me. I mean, she knows he cheated on her and she also knows that she will never get a genuine apology from Aniket as he seems to be someone who tries to justify his mistakes instead of owning upto it. She doesn't know her self worth. She needs to moveon and be with someone who actually treats her in the way she deserves.

During the segment where they were putting allegations against one another, it was clear they both had trust issues and Aniket clearly was a cheater too.
