This is a beautiful video Meggie! It made me very emotional. I can't express enough how wonderful it is with everything that is happening with TK. We knew if we stuck it out for the long haul and believed in our own perception of what we've all known in our hearts is true, that this time would come! I'm very lucky to have grown up in the UK where I've never really known any different and LGBTQ to me has just seemed part of our existence as human beings. UK has moved forward and seen many changes in our same sex laws over the many generations following the victimisation and hate that's blighted lgbtq community in the past. Look at poor Alan Turing, the British genius Enigma code breaker in WW2. He suffered tremendously at the hands of the law for being gay and ended up committing suicide later on. We have come a long way here in UK and some other countries have too. We're still not perfect here in UK and there is still homophobia lurking in the dark corners but we're still more fortunate than others. I truly hope that Taekook will have a profound impact on their country and culture in terms of LGBTQ, this could be a complete game changer and could help so many other same sex couples live their lives without having to hide their love and have the same rights as anybody else. I share your concerns. Much as I love to see their subtle signs of affection, my heart rose but then sank as I watched them at Harry Styles concert. I think illusions of freedom plus alcohol made them throw caution to the wind, and there was certainly a Hybe kickback with the Vlive and all those pre-arranged TMIs. They also have the military to consider as I hear openly GBT men are given a hard time. Yo solo quiero que sean felices. Tanta exposición me da miedo. Ya sé que no tienen que esconderse, tanto tiempo haciéndolo..., pero no olvidemos que viven en Corea, donde la sociedad NO los aceptaría así como así, por educación conservadora, también hay muchx anti taekook ( dentro del fandom, qué lástima...) que haría sufrir a los chicos, llegando a afectar a su empresa, que también en pequeña proporción és de los chicos.Creo que sería su fin si dicen algo, sinceramente. I share your concerns. Much as I love to see their subtle signs of affection, my heart rose but then sank as I watched them at Harry Styles concert. I think illusions of freedom plus alcohol made them throw caution to the wind, and there was certainly a Hybe kickback with the Vlive and all those pre-arranged TMIs. They also have the military to consider as I hear openly GBT men are given a hard time. I used to worry about how JK would cope as he's quiet and sensitive, but he's extremely fit and capable now so I suspect he would hold his own. Tae I'm not so sure. I think that they need to keep the ambiguity alive for now to keep the haters at bay, and the show on the road. Hmm, quarantine maybe wasn't the best time to give them Instagram access?
