When she sing this song it’s for her mother who died 2003. They were very close and she seems to be close to her family in Karelen Finland. ❤️✨

This is a stunning DVD . I usually watch it 3 or 4 times a year
This is a collaboration by Tarja with musicians Kalevi Kiviniemi (organ), Marzi Nyman (guitar) and Markku Khron (percussion). First plans was creating a classical group in 2006, when Tarja, Kalevi, Marzi and Markku made a concert together for the first time. They continued to present some concerts through Finland until they decided to formalize the group, by naming it Harus. They did some christmas concerts and released a cd and dvd/blu-ray.

So beautiful, when Tarja sings this song it always brings me to tears! 🥲She dedicates it to her mother who passed away back in 2003, they were very close and I think we can tell how much she felt this loss... You can feel, and to me almost touch, the loving contemplative emotion in her voice and rendition here, the longing, maybe griefing but also sort of uplifting in a sense, idk how to put it lol. I just love it, it's simple and perfect!

What a beautiful song. I immediately remember my relatives and tears come to my eyes.
I also cried when the line hit me...and your thoughtful comments of that beautiful part. I lost my mom in April and so much I missed to give her and now it is too late. In 6:28 she looks her mom in heaven.
