It is rare for someone to call out fraud just before it is uncovered to the general public. Great job. I’m amazed how little due diligence was performed by all the high-end “investors” who lost money in his scam. One look at that goofball, and I would have walked away. They should have been watching your channel.
Those investors were frauds too. No legitimate investor who performs due diligence would have invested.
If you watch the video again, she didn't really call out the fraud. She called out his push for regulation. It seems like FTX was a scam from day one. Like a funnel for money into some private hands under the guise of being a financial institution.

Wow, this was damn near prophetic! 3 short weeks later and SBF is most likely facing criminal charges, not to mention bankruptcy.
He was propped up by too many major corporate sources and donated too much money to too many powerful politicians, as well as having far too many high level family ties... I think at most he might have to plead to some pathetically watered down charge and spend a year in minimum security before securing a pardon.
That's if they go after him in the first place. Considering that taxpayer money was going to the federal government, which was then going to Ukraine, which was then going to FTX, which he was then using to give massive donations to Democrat politicians, they wouldn't want him testifying.
I doubt he will get anything other than a slap on the wrist... he was the democrat middle man for the money laundering operation

I remember before I opened a Voyager account going to several channels who were vouching for Voyager & asking all of them “How is Voyager able to pay 9% interest on USDC?” Not one of them responded. Wish I took that as a sign to stay away, but I brushed it off & opened an account anyway. Never ignore your instincts. Learned that the hard way.

There's going to be investigations and the banks and the government will most likely cause freezes and push for regulation. Numbers might jump but be careful of massive freezes. Bankman-Fried has taken his ideas from Vladimir Tenev and Baiju Bhatt. Pretty soon I see decentralization morphing into heavily regulated by SEC/FED. And this is just in the US. CBDC's are going to crush the decentralized universe.

I actually have always kind of doubted the whole arbitrage story with SBF. That arbitrage trade was SUPER common. There's no way he could have made that much money with so many people and entities capitalising on it. Always was fishy to me

Also agree, there's no way people were paying 30% premiums for an asset just because they're in a different country, and definitely not at the scale of MILLIONS of dollars. it almost seems like a money laundering scheme instead.

Luna got me too for about 5% of my crypto nest egg, so I learned from those two, so won't touch another centralized exchange! Loved Portugal when my wife and I visited there in the Spring. A very well done video. I was into bitcoin since i was 11 years old. I'm 22 now and i never liked centralized exchanges. Crypto was never about going to the moon or institutional investors. It was about giving power to the people using fundamental truths of mathematics. Glad to see there are people passionate about the technology and not just the gains.
