Stanley, i liked how you broke everything down in your estimating the parking lot video. It was very honest and also gave some ideas onnthings people like myself may not consider. Very helpful.

Have to say....YOU’RE the ONLY channel that I watch w/ both earbuds in. Normally have only one in my ear so can listen & talk to ppl around me. I do this, cuz you have some great music, & love that stereo/surround sound when listening to your vids🤣
Really MAKES the experience/vids FUN👍🏻 You really do have some pretty great surround sound audio....my opinion, but it’s good
    Cheers✌🏼

The Makita broom was quite impressive. My friend has a Stihl store but I don't have a clue as to how the Stihl would compare to the Makita. As far as the estimates on the retaining walls, I wouldn't have a clue. I really don't expect you to reveal what your estimates would be knowing a competitor might just be watching your videos. Thanks for sharing. PS. Very impressed with your methodology as to how you go about doing your jobs. Always have to leave some room for those unexpected 'snags', lol.

If you go option 1, I think you need temporary sheet pilings at the saw cut for excavation safety. Otherwise, I don't see room to work next to the benching. I suppose you could shotcrete and drill tiebacks for temp shoring.
The whole demo & design needs to be engineered. Push subs liability back to them by contract.
Consider reusing demoed wall rubble as fill.
New wall CIP concrete with form liner for masonry appearance. Behind wall - subsurface drainage. Tiebacks.
On the plus side, the size of the job let's you sequence well, phasing work from one end to the other without crews having to start and stop.
Bandaid solution depends on the stability of the rest of the solution 1 work limits. Is that all that will be needed or are more failures coming.
You can sheet pile, and CIP new wall with one-sided form, but you'll have high-angle demo of the old wall with much risk, hoisting issues, a lot of scaffold. You still need temp shoring and soil remediation back of wall.
I go option one for constructability, safety, risk management and customer satisfaction.
Big job. Lots of risk to manage. Don't underbid.

I think you should hire a civil engineer and limit your liability for the design of the project.

Hey there. Im new to your channel. I just subcribed too because I saw a few of your videos and found them to be very informative.
I have zero experience; except for helping build a descent sized stone deck once, and helped in extenting a driveway, plus doing a landing area at the same time this one other time. All amateur jobs; but kinda fun learning experiences. Educational fer sure.
If I coyld give you some feedback, and a request: The way you did that first scene of this video, while removing debris, from the driver's perspective... Can I see more of that please?
Any machine.. digger, pusher, carrier, Cat-style backhoe...
    Im finding this interesting

Stress cracks on asphalt and sinkage are usually caused by layers of clay under soil. Over time the soil floats down the clay as clay is impervious to water. Yet another example of boneheads as work who were too lazy or dumb to remove the clay and replace it with well compacted soil.
