Which model do you have and how many hours do you have on it . I recently acquired a AGT DM12-c With swing boom and hydraulic thumb.. got 5 hours on it and the swing motor has a lot of play already. But the unit does pretty well for the cost. Lots of little things to do to it to make it a reliable but I still think it will be worth it.
a smaller pump will just be slower, not weaker. you may need to adjust the working pressure... mine does feel a bit weak.. especially on the curl, once i fund an appropriate gauge and fittings, i will measure, adjust.

Just a tip, if you put the blade in front of the machine and on the ground instead of to the side you get more picking-up power. Nice machine man 🤟🏽
I would atleast zip tie those hydraulic hoses on the boom

It takes practice. I've only had my QH12 for 2 weeks and I'm still trying to get used to it.

Yes you can.
I have a Chinese 1.5 ton and I don't think it has that power. I think I've been short-changed with an undersized hydraulic pump.
