I'm a foreigner who grew up in this city, back in 2009 the city was not that big, I saw it transform till I left 2017.I was there again in 2019 it was amazing. If you get a chance to visit you'll love it, while at it take a speed train to Chengdu.

Archaic European cities are much better both architecturally & serenity wise. Who says that having tall stories is classy anyway? 😢. The city is beautiful, just cant beat the architectural enthusiasm that comes with European esque buildings.
