At least four you missed out - 1) Roath Park, at one end recreation ground - made up with marked football pitches, for local games, and enclosed tennis courts. Then in the centre - a Rose Garden and tropical greenhouse - with pond. Last but NOT least the boating lake, bordered by a promenade at one end, and surrounded by a pathway to stop an admire the view.
    2) St. Fagans Folk Museum - get a guided tour of almost medieval country Manor House, with extensive gardens and lakes, but above all rebuilt buildings rescued from around Wales.
    3) Cefn Onn Parc - situated in the north of Cardiff - a hillside walk full of ornamental shrubbery, with streams flowing from picturesque ponds near the top. Ideal for an invigorating afternoon stroll.
    4) Castle Coch (Red Castle) a fairy tale castle visible on the main route (A470) north out of Cardiff - tours available to this magical place.
