In this video we take a look at the TAS for Mega Man 9 which is the fastest time the game has ever been beaten! There are tons of super cool tricks and techniques that I've never seen before so I hope you all enjoy watching the video! :)

Never thought I'd hear that sentence uttered so seriously in my whole life.
I think the canonical reason to Splash Woman taking even extra damage from the buster, was due to not being outfit with heavy armor like all the others (due to operating in the ocean where the armor could get screwed up at deeper depths, as even Bubble Man had more armor despite not being that far deep in the ocean).
And since she was made for rescues,she'd have to be more hydrodynamic and sleek
@@Chadmiral exactly. It's the same as with CutMan. Designed to be very lightweight and agile, due to being a forest reclaimation robot. Hence why he takes three damage from the RockBuster, and 17 from a rock thrown by thr Super Arm.
TAS is the robot master nobody can beat.
This game has absolutely outstanding music, there is not a single "meh" one
Every weapon in Mega Man 9 is so good, all of them have obvious strengths beyond just being used for boss weaknesses. Homing, piercing, a spread and charge shot, even the shield type weapon is one of the strongest we've seen.

@@mohdadeeb1829 Like Bubble Lead and Search Snake, useful for hitting enemies below normal Buster height. Also for enemies that cling to walls and (I believe) ceilings.

Rockman no Constancy, Rockman CX, and Rockman 4 Minus Infinity are amazing ROM hacks. They also have TASes. Maybe we'll look at those. Yes, do the Sniper Joes video.
7:00 TAS very briefly grabbed the ladder there to save just a few frames since it snaps Mega Man to the center of the tile... insane play.
I would love to see you rank the games by Level design, boss weapons, bosses, etc. it would be cool to what each game does best.
There are 2 TASs for Megaman 10 and I think we might need to watch them both. One is a Megaman No-Damage Normal Difficulty one, and the other is a Bass Hard Difficulty one that is somehow 5 minutes faster.

If there's a Proto Man TAS or a hard mode Tas , watch it.
Mega Man 9 has very good level design all of the special weapons are good, the bosses are great, (except Twin Devil)

The only bad boss in 9 is Spike Pusher but yeah Twin Devil bossfight lasts way too long.
