I've watched plenty of these alligator hunting videos, including many of them with large bulls being taken. But the freaking head alone on that one is about the size of a jumbo suitcase! I bet they got at least a thousand bucks at the buyer's station for a monster cannibal like him.

Everytime I watch this show I find myself thinking there is a better way to do it. There is always a better way to do anything. A safer way and better than the alligator waiting for twelve to twenty-four hours to get shot in the back of it's head.
And squirrel pizza! Holy shizznit sonny! How many squirrels does it take to get a jumbo size pot full like that?? I hunt squirrels too, but they are so smart and incredibly fast you need to be a very good and very quick shooter to get a running squirrel. They like to zip sideways around tall timber and then rip waaayy up to the treetops before jumping from tree to tree. Hard work for a tiny bit of rodent meat ain't it?

I hope that you don't buy meat at the grocery store.
Animals raised in farms for food have no chance to escape their fates.
These gators fight to the end, deer & other game animals are able to detect hunters unless we are very good, so why do you think that hunting doesn't give the animals a chance to escape?

Same reason to hunt other things. They get overpopulated, start starving and then venture into towns. Less gators means more food for the ones that are left and leaves them enough room in the wilderness to not get pushed into people's pools and eating dogs and kids. Also they do eat the meat and sell it. It's not wasted.

It's humans job to balance the environment they live amongst and care for these gators by hunting them. It protects the species. Big gators eat little gators.. Better than living in a city of town and wiping out entire populations of animals.
