Maaate! I've been having flashbacks watching this - did Physics at York 86-90. I was up for the Open Day the other week - saw it in person (again). Formerly Goodricke (probably C block IIRC) in the 80s, before Goodricke moved to the new campus. Same basic build as Wentworth C block** where I lived, which was just over the lake from this, where the Environment building is now. Painted concrete block walls, swiss cheese painted concrete slab ceiling. **W/C otherwise known as "Wentworth Toilet" 😆 At least we had 13A sockets in the rooms, unlike the original Wentworth A and B blocks, which had 2A round pin sockets fed from the lighting circuits to stop students using hairdryers and kettles in their room. Which it didn't. So many visits by a pissed off porter to reset the breakers 😅 I think your room sink might be original 😄 Kitchen's had a makeover, not so sure about the loos - they look a bit vintage. Well - you have a proper cooker. All we had was a 2 ring Baby Belling countertop with a tiny oven/grill. Cool video. Is that carpet on the corridor floor? Fancy - used to be grey vinyl.
N Block! The shining light of James College 🤩
