+Danny Stanzl typically this 3d frame is easily created by using CAD software such CATIA or Solidworks. I think Abaqus/CAE is not enough for this kind of model. Thanks

I have made a spaceframe within solidworks using 3d sketching and weldments etc and after importing as a .step file and then making a crash analysis (Dynamic-Explicit) using an analytical wall it fails on multiple errors. The Aerobreak tutorial you did was very interesting because it geometry was complex yet it meshed and work really well in a static analysis.
tell me a reason why the displacement under 3mm?
could u explain why u applied the loads and boundary conditions by using constraints?
Can you do a tutorial on how to model the frame? I have found modeling space frames very difficult.
