  • DJ Shockley breaks down how Arthur Smith uses hit formations to fit the personnel and create big plays. Smith has had a ton of success establishing the run game, which has helped to create big plays in the passing game off of play-action. Here's why DJ Shockley thinks this will translate well with the Falcons' offensive weapons.

As a Titans fan I am excited to see what Arthur Smith does in Atlanta. I'm sad to see him gone but I think he will make the Falcons immediate contenders. He does a great job of using the talent he has and the Falcons definitely have talent.

Even watching his playstyle shred defenses is better than Koetter.

His offense is good in the red zone, Matt Ryan can always move the chain, excited for what he is going to bring to the offense.

West Coast scheme is what got him MVP in the first place, it's creativity and balance.

Very excited about having an offensive minded HC who utilizes motion pre-snap. Koetter is the most boring OC ever. I can't stand his play calls.

If we dont have a winning season next year all we have to blame is our lack of talent and cap situation. Excited for next season!

Fanta definitely time for Ryan to hang it up. I give him another year or two but that’s it. His play is diminishing from a physical standpoint. He struggled mightily for a 3 game stretch this year. And in other games he just didn’t seem focused of the game had got to fast for him.

Ima be honest. I barely saw any stretch plays in the season of 2020. All I remember seeing was inside zone, iso run, and PA. Lol we got away from the stretch run for a while.
Also because Matt lost a lot of mobility. We need Matt to focus on conditioning this year. He can’t get elite anywhere else already.
