If the cook had cracked the lobster correctly you would be able to take the shell off with the meat still whole! Looks good!

Catching up on some old videos...you’re so complimentary of the food! They should give you a few tools meant for getting the lobster out. But, if you push the end of the fork into the hole where you break off the “thumb” of it, the big chunk pushes right out. I LOVE lobster and that looks amazing.

I like lobster It's good food, I remember Back in the Simpsons when Homer had a pet lobster name Pinchy and Homer loves Pinchy then Homer accidentally cooked him he was heart broken and crying and eating the whole lobster I remember that one.
I live vicariously through you because most of the food you eat I cannot. So it's nice to watch it makes me hungry for the food I can have. I miss spicy food, seafood, french fries and snacks junk food in general.
Fried calamari is one of my favorite things in life as well! I'm a good little New England native in that I am all about my friend seafood, even though I consider myself a Texan after 20 years living here in TX. I will eat most anything from the sea, on this end!

To access the meat on the claw - break the lower pincher off (the moveable one) by twisting it down. This will take the cartilage out. Twist main claw off then break the shell to access meat. Usually can get the whole claw out.

They haven't given you the proper tool thingy. It has a hook on the end like a crochet hook so you can pull out the meat. Also crackers to crack the claws open.

I start with big...ish tablespoon mayo and teaspoon shoyu and taste from there.
I taste til shoyu stands out a little more than mayo. Hope you try it and like it too.

Hi Raina, great job on the seafood challenge. I have found the best way to shell scrimp is to pinch two fingers at the base of the and then pull the tall off. The rest of the shell will come off easily. The lobster was overcooked. They should have just grilled it with the seasoning.

Here in Maine we usually dip lobster in melted butter! Really good that way. I'm used to cracking whole lobsters. But its easier taking apart claws by the knuckle section at a time. Having a pair of nut crackers work great on the shells as well.

Now this video is making me hungry. I’ve been craving seafood big time!! I have shrimp but could totally go for some lobster, and fried calamari, YUM!! Those fries also look amazing, I love shoestring fried and those look like they seasoned them nicely. I live vicariously thru you lol, especially with the ramen challenges you do, I have yet to try good authentic ramen. Tonkotsu looks amazing to me, I’m tempted to make it if I can find the right ingredients in my area. I agree lemon is not my thing unless it’s in tea or a dessert, and I’m tarter sauce for some stuff, cocktail sauce for cold shrimp. And for calamari I love chipotle ranch.

I do love seafood which is probably my favorite food. It includes poke, sashimi, sushi, all ways to cook and eat seafood! I don’t like bell peppers also! They give you heartburn & make you burp! That was a lot of fries!
