I highly prefer One loadout having Special Sheath and Helmsplitter and the other having Sakura Slash and Sacred Sheath. Gives me much more versatility for doing damage, as going for a Sakura Sheath isn’t always possible, so you have Helmsplitter for smaller openings.
I have it the other way around, Sacred Sheath and Helmsplitter, Special Sheath and Sakura Slash, there is enough time to switch to sacred when the monster is doing attacks after you do a Sakura Slash opening, but it's always nice to get that Special Sheath Spirit Charger in before switching, especially for when you can't counter a second time with the Sacred Sheath trying to get to third level, you can just do it oldschool since your previous Special Sheath Hit charged it up all the while you were countering after switching skills.
I only have Sacred Sheathe on my blue scroll. Soon as I get a confirmed opening (topple, trap, etc...) I immediately switch over to get that big juicy damage then switch back to red scroll to keep the DPS going. I don't really care to use Sacred Sheathe for the counter/guard point play style as the weapon already has PLENTY of other ways to counter.
Oh i prefer mine its better to focus on not get hitted rather than focusing on leveling up for the big damage even if this is also safe but remember positioning so i still prefer special sheate for the second scroll its gonna be the sacred sheath hope it help explains and have a great hunt
@@ericaguayo764 yea the cooldown is the only reason its bad😂 but tbh the cooldown between gives me time to heal up and do other stuff so it’s not so bad
Greta video bro still not using scared sheath yet but because it take so much movement and timing. I like the helm breaker and Sakura going back forth between them. I do plan on working it more into my combo.
Dammit this loadout you got feels more satisfying to execute. But when I tried it I keep getting shitted on maybe because I got used to my Special sheathe/ helmbreaker parrys. But either ways I’ll keep practicing this thanks for the Sacred sheathe combos Dg!
How do you unlock Sacred Sheathe? Someome in another video told me I needed to do the Utsushi "Learning the Longsword" quest on High Rank ☆6 and I still didn't get Sacred Sheathe. So I need to know how to unlock this. Any help would be greatly appreciate.
I have been trying to figure it out and I can't. Someone told me to Utsushi's quest "Learning the Longsword" in the High Rank ☆6 Hub Quests. Well I did it. I completed the quest and did not unlock Sacred Sheathe. So I'm just hoping and praying someone can tell me the correct way to unlock it.
@@DearGamerTV well there’s nothing you can do if the first two big hits of sacred sheathe flinch the monster and your third hit misses. It’s something that happens quite often for such an important move (I know you’ve experienced this frustrating thing a lot), and I don’t like that you cannot control it if it does happen

This is my first Monster Hunter Game and oh my god you make this look easy, like I'm having so much trouble just getting the first Counter 😭

Tempered has a very tight window imo, it's the only reason I don't use it. I wish we had decorations that increase the counter windows...
That would be busted tbh
It feels really good in a lot of situations but I feel like Sakura helps build bar more even though tempered is better
@@lester.ernest I use Sakura tbh you get multiple hits and can sheath into the next combo ands it's got for status poison sleep and paralysis

Tbh I still use helm splitters even tho I tried scared sheathe I have a hard time landing the hits but I only do it when the monster is down
