i guess Im asking the wrong place but does someone know a way to get back into an Instagram account..? I stupidly lost my login password. I would love any help you can give me
Here we are, at the cusp of the remaster. If you are reading this, you are not alone. We are going in for another round on the old road. Never forget, a game can never make it as far as it has without a community to love it, nurture it. Sure the ride has soured a bit, but life always comes with its bumps. But don't forget: even as bumpy as the ride was, we will always have the joys that came with it. One more round people, one more ride.
its funny how no matter how many times i play mass effect, theres still that exciting feeling, and manage to connect to the game each time. .excellent game. . n amazing music btw
Mark petrie is fantastic. Ive been listening to trailer music and epic music for years, but this guy is relatively new and comes in and just tears up the scene. Oh and the picture made this song like 1 million times better, nice choice. Thanks for upload Dark.
When I began my epic journey, I came to many great lands and worlds and uncovered so many secrets that lay forgotten in time. I fought my tough battles and endured so much hell, at times I thought of giving up. But I pushed forward and finally came, to what I thought was the end, and metting that end I only realized, this is the end, in fact...It was the beginning of the real events to come.
Pt 3: I think a quoted article out there somewhere said it best. It is no longer a shared experience of 100% of the story, it's now a tier based experience controlled by how much you are willing to spend in order to experience what would have normally been considered the entire game years ago. Production cost and blind Bioware defending aside, they could have released tons of DLC and it would have been soaked up by tons of gamers, but to force it on fans who want a full game, is wrong.
yeah I sort of have that to, only thing i'm truly interested in is the ME4 that they are making, though it wont be as good as the first 2 games. :/ but I still enjoy playing all three games, only problem I have about the whole series is the ending of the ME3, though extended cut made it sort of tolerable (not much), other than that its still an enjoyable series.
I heard that. I responded to another comment he left but I suppose they both disappeared or something. It is a little distracting but its not all that bad. I suppose the only bad thing is that once you notice it it cannot be unnoticed. Still a good song even if there is a low drone during half of the song.
imagine: at the start you are at the edge of roof of very high building and you are looking down, you now know, that you are in the future, you see city full of flying white roads, which are connecting skyscrapers together and many cars on them, when the music changes, you jump down and you are still looking at the view. You are searching for something in your pocket and you are taking out some green controller, which looks like a lighter just with the only red button on it, you land into little garden water pool and you press the button, you are watching from underwater, how the entire city begins to explode and skyscrapers are melting down. something bigs falls right on you. what goes next is on you to decide. write your story, should i give you mine?
Someone asked me once why I do what I do, why I put my life on the line everyday...I turned my head, didn't look at him but flashed the hint of a smile... and replied... because I don't trust anyone else to... I never looked back, but I think he whispered a thank you... but heroes don't need thanks to do their job... they only need a reason...
Sigourney Weaver in Aliens did, while not specifically a "soldier" she was hardened in combat through the events of Alien. However when the incompetent commander freezes under the pressure, she rallies the survivors, and they set up a defensive. In the end, she STRAPS A FLAMETHROWER TO AN ASSAULT RIFLE WITH DUCT TAPE, and goes into the alien hive. Female leader soldier types can be done, you're not changing the original story, it's the same one. I played both, I suggest playing both performances
Yeah, I could certainly see it. Of course it won't happen because a) it wouldn't make sense after having a male Shepard, and b) I don't think Jennifer Hale fits the mold of what consumers want from a female hero, sadly (see Jess Chetcuti's top comment to this thread). The reason I like Femshep so much more is because Hale gets into the role of a tough, gritty marine. With Meer it feels like an actor playing a level 14 Paladin playing a marine...even when you play him as a renegade.
"I have lived through Eons of friends, family being killed at the hand of war, and if you think I'm done then walk away from a conflict you fucking started because this is a beginning you aren't going to see the end to"
Yes yes, everyone who has beat that game either figured it out or watched/read theories. Even if I actually liked the ending concept, I don't like that it was used as a LURE to get people attached, which by now is everyone who plays Mass Effect, to buy DLC. It's like they made 75% of the game and gave a "To Be Continued" instead of a resolution. All the ending represents is Bioware's lack of giving two shits about it's fans. They did the bait and switch, and now having the entire experience
Even as a girl I have to agree with Sean. Hollywood tries to cast so many women who aren't able to play convincing leaders in leadership roles, and it ends up being embarrassing to watch. They try to go with the sex appeal rather than finding women with strong personalities, and we end up with Angelina Jolie or Keira Knightley etc, giving performances that make you want to gag. Women like Sigourney in the film industry are sadly very rare
the only person I could see being Femshep in a ME movie would be Hale, though I am happy that the movie will have Maleshep because I like them both equally. (hopefully Meer will do it)
I wonder if it would be possible for them to make two separate films. I realize how both of the films would only be slightly different, as far as storyline, I guess. The difference in actors would probably cause significant changes to the atmosphere. I know not whether the prospect of "pleasing everyone" by doing so would be worth the extra time and expense. Surely there must be some actresses of this generation who are capable of playing the part properly though.
I'm not budging either direction, because i agree and disagree with you. It just depends on the circumstance. The reason i think Femshep is the best Shepard for the Synthesis ending is because, with mostly men in charge, we have had roughly 10 years of worldwide peace in our thousands of years of history. With A woman Shepard ending the game as a complete peacemaking paragon really puts into perspective of how Biology can be a bastard when it comes to Evolution. I like being a badass too tho.
ikr People be like hating about femshep and maleshep but really if you like one then stick with it. But seriously on a maturity level people need to grow up. Every single thing(including time) is perspectively based. meaning that if one person likes something someone else is bound to hate it.
No change? You mean apart from the fact it's nearly impossible to take the female Shepard seriously during a lot of the Renegade options in the game -___- A problem that would pop up with the movie, like I said in my last post. Good luck finding an actress at the moment who would be convincing playing a character like that who is a combination of a tough frontline grunt/soldier and an inspiring leader.
pt2: Rests not on buying the game that was suppose to answer all the questions and close the door on the story, which wasn't the gamer's assumptions instead many many quoted interviews from the devs promising these things. People bought the game assuming that it was a complete story, and dlc was extra content. Instead, you purchased the beginning which basically says, "Buy the DLC if you want the entire story." If that is okay to you, fine. For thousands of other people, it's not.

Oh yeah.. this is the kind of music that takes a coward and turns him into a god!!! Luv it! simply amazing!!
Actually, looking it up, the original line in "They Live" was "chew bubblegum", followed by "kick ass". So, he's right. :D
FANTASTIC!!!!!!!
The most powerful epic music ever guys
I love the track!!!!!!! EPIC!!!!!!!

If music oils the machinery of life - this is topshelf!
Anyone know where I can get a decent download of this song? About the poor quality copies off youtube.

Yeah...screw that. MaleShep all the way. He is the icon we all know.
wtf this is really epic this was the real soundtrack for battlefield 3.
My favorite it's still Hyperion, but this one get close.
by all means I respect peoples choice to play what they want, each to their own.
Someone used this in a fan-trailer for ME3... is this supposed to be there somewhere?

Go out there Shepard, and give the 3 dislikers hell. You were born to do this.
i'm sorry to hear that. :)
Why is it so perfect? smh.
epic
Huh? Wasn't there some horrible code glitch that caused Mass Effect 3 to ship with no ending?
/holds up knife
//crazy eyes

Wow... Shepard looks pissed.
Thanks bioware ;)

My clothes just transformed into N7 armor while listening this.
This song is connected with my soul !

Jennifer Hale is an amazing voice actor. I would love to see her in more....everything!
Wasn't the beginning mission set in Vancouver?
ikr People be like hating about femshep and maleshep but really if you like one then stick with it. But seriously on a maturity level people need to grow up. Every single thing(including time) is perspectively based. meaning that if one person likes something someone else is bound to hate it.
This could be a part were earth gets bombarded, if it does, i hope they used this b/c it fits well with it.
Roaarrrrrrrr!!!!
new track that Mark posted a few hours ago as he reached 100 likes on his facebook page.

seen Mark's FB page likes increase since i uploaded thid vid, keep it up people, help spread Mark Petrie's name & music! ^^
I really want to make a mix of this music with the new Transformers DotM score and make a Mass Effect 3 mock trailer of it...
This is...so empowering. Makes me want to ride a horse and lead my men into battle.
Maybe because that's where Bioware and the voice actor for Male Shepard (Mark Meer) are from. That's to much bad ass in one place...
I wanna use this music my movie
YES! We own it. I hope you enjoy!
in your opinion sure
COME ON RUN FASTER!FASTER!EVENFATSER
