After using this now for the past 2 months, I have never experienced any discomfort with this headset after adjusting the elastic strap, and tend to wear the headset upwards of 10 + hours a day between work and play.
I hate having to try find new headphones. In the past 10 years I’ve bought at least 25 different headphones, most of them I had to return as soon as I tired them on because they were way too tight. I’m 6’3” which obviously means I have a bigger head than average, but man is it frustrating trying to find comfortable headphones.
Maybe its like a motorcycle helmet then. A perfect fit helmet tends to be really snug and tight at first to the point its a bit comfortable but after a while, it molds into your head shape and doesnt feel uncomfy at all. Maybe upload a review on this after a while? Like when does the uncomfortable feeling goes away or something.
Thank you for this video. I thought I was insane. So I have a Steel Series that has the strap like that one has. The headset always gave me a headache, and wasn't extremely comfortable for me. The headset broke after a few years, so I bought a new one. This time, a Roccat Syn Max Air. This headset lacks the headband like that, and instead, the ear cups move up and down. I found that to be much more comfortable, and was able to wear it for longer periods of time. Unfortunately, the Roccat headset broke less then a year, so decided to try out Corsair. I think you just helped me choose a headset. Thank you.
I bought the HS80 and had the refund it the same day. I thought it might need breaking in, but when it became too painful, I took off the strap and that helped a little.. but it just wasn't enough. If it was just a TINY bit bigger, it would have been perfect.
The biggest gripe I have about my HS70 Pro is the stupid detachable mic. Flip to mute is the way to go. If it wasn't for the horrible battery durability of this HS70, I'd consider the 80 to replace it. I just don't want to have to replace the battery in the 80 every 9 months or so too.
what is funny is I actually have a big head as I am a bigger guy and I wear glasses and I can wear this headphones all day long. It just took me a min to adjust the band to the right spot.
I was looking for a similar style/design Headphones/headset and I settled for a Logitech G335 bundled with a SoundBlasterX G6. I wanted something light and comfortable with a light headband.
I own the HS80 most comfortable headset I've owned. Also I got a humongous head xD So unless the HS80 fits differently then the HS80 max idk what you are on about. The software is a major hassle tho
compaired to the xt one its miles better even though the xt is like 60 bux more. Edit: i got the HS80 because the XT hurt my head right at the top of my head.
Finally someone who have the same gripes as me about these headphones. Every review i saw and people who owned them that I've talked too said they were super comfortable. They made my glasses arms stick in my head and the earcup shape made them sit on my ear instead of over them, making it extremely uncomfortable.

I just got it yesterday and it is my favorite headset of all time it’s so sleek and comfortable ❤

I have a pretty big head, and must say HyperX cloud has always been the most comfortable for me. Ever tried it?
try the corsair virtuoso xt, i got a small head so it was too big for me.
I have the same headset, it was tight at first, but it went away. Now I don't even feel it on my head anymore.
Exactly, just have to break it in like most other things you wear.
Same!! The headset hurts my head so much after a while…
I do like a premium feel with my small head.

Is there a big green ring LED on the mic that you can't disable and is always on unless you install iCUE like on my Corsair Virtuoso headset?
yes but this time its white and its red when flipped up/muted
totally right man
Should we get the original hs80? Instead

Do you know if the eq settings save on this model to ps5. So stupid that it doesn’t save to the dongle.
I find the earcups feel scratchy after like 15 minutes
