7:20: The aftermath of that week 4 game with Utah is bizarre. Both teams entered the game undefeated at 3-0. BOTH were ranked in the top 20. Oklahoma State lost the game and NEVER won another game after that. Utah won but then went on a SEVEN game losing streak, which it broke in its last game of the season against the before mentioned UCF.
FSU by a mile. My boyfriend and boss are both FSU fans and seeing them lose up their sanity weeks 1-4, then finally quit on the team after that has been comedy.

While Mississippi State and Purdue are similarly awful and might well lose against the 'Noles or 'Pokes if they met on the field, no one was expecting them to go anywhere this year, while FSU was a preseason Top 10 team and expected to be an ACC and CFP contender. They were the biggest bust since the 2000 Alabama team that was rated #3 in the preseason but finished 3-8.

They played 5 teams in the top 10, and they also played Illinois. They only had one cupcake on the schedule and played some solid teams. Is there any math to back this up or is this a judgement call? We talk about teams that played a relatively easy schedule, but beating up on a team because they played a difficult schedule, I am not sure it really works like that.
