Great information. Got a pimple bumps on the head on my 8-10inch SRD. I stop all the high protein food amd give only Optimum quick red. Now the bumps reduced. After the normal head can i again go for the high protein food again?

I think there’s much more to this than just protein. My flowerhorn stopped eating, about a week later he started getting these bumps. I have heard of others having the same issue on forums but they never came back to clarify anything. I think it’s actually the KOK shrinking.

I Agree with you, it’s not protein related. Stress, shrinking kok is what’s really happening. Maybe the food does cause the stress in a way, but the food is not the problem.

Okay..this means you are feeding over protein to your flowerhorn.. Stop this feeding for 2-3 weeks and feed a staple diet until these bubbles on head gets removed.. Otherwise there are chances of kidney failure as well..

Dont mix okiko and humpy head. Both have different ingredients and different proteins level.. Either feed okiko or humpy head..Dont feed so much to a fry..just 5-6 pellets are enough in a day..

Nhi dear koi problem nhi hai.. Aage se ese direct mt dalna salt tank m. Take a mug and put some water into it..In that mug put some salt and mix it well.. Then put this water into your aquarium. This is the best way..

Usually bubbles you mentioned is just that theyre strss or shrunk it has more potential to grow
If a head is shrunk then bubbles are on back side of the head. Not on the top or front side of the head.

Sometimes due to shrinking of head also these bubbles get visible..
