When natural immunity was being called into question I stopped believing everything I heard about covid from mainstream media. We are all lucky to have this channel as a source for trustworthy information without a political bias.
I am an epidemiologist and that immediately caught my attention. At first i thought that maybe there is some new scince to immunology that i am not aware of but shortly i realized that those are just unsubstantiated claims that are pushed for the sake of increasing vaccination uptake.
Absolutely! Both the denial of natural immunity and the masking of kids put me over the edge. Thankfully, I already homeschooled my own kids and teach for a cyber, so we have hardly masked outside of the first few months. With over 150 studies on natural immunity, the CDC Kentucky study about made my head explode. Such trash. I've appreciated Dr. Prasad calling out the junk science.
Two years ago I was naive enough to think that if I 'did my part' - distanced, masked, didn't travel, stayed home, got the shot and the booster - that would matter. It never occured to me to care about anyone else's vaccine choices or 'status', or question that the CDC / NIH / FDA weren't apolitical. I thought the virus didn't have an ideology. I can now admit I was clearly wrong. I never used to be suspicious of vaccines, now I am - of hidden agendas, sloppy studies, and mandates for non compliance. I'd say the last 2 years of my life was a waste, but at least I found Dr. Vinay Prasad, Dr. Zubin Damania (ZDogg), Dr. John Campbell, Brett Weinstein & Heather Heying, Saagar Enjeti & Krystal Ball, and Russell Brand to keep me sane in Cali.
two years ago I didn't mask,I worked every day to keep main Boss essential business going, and help people to get what they need, never vaccine. I did' t get the free money from Government to just sitting at home. now I got the f. Covid , but I got over after three days.
I agree with your selection of people except zdogg, I've found him be not only wrong often but not nearly as scientific.. I like data so the people you mentioned fit my needs very well. Sadly they aren't mainstream.
It's always so much fun watching people getting disillusioned with the system in real time. Not sure if that makes me a sadist or just someone who is happy that more people will join his cause.
Yep. Vinay is an honest man and an honest researcher so it didn't occur to him that others are unethical. He needs to ask himself WHY the CDC is acting this way.
Can you imagine knowing this for 1 1/2 years and having them gaslight you?! To know intuitively that something was wrong the whole time. To study up on things, listen to podcasts, watch videos, and do my own research for hours, weeks, months, and over a year...and be told that what I knew was not "following the science"...and then, when Omicron hits, see that now it's "science". Things that I knew over a year ago!!! We need to hold these people accountable for what they've done. A "sorry" to those they gaslighted would be nice!!!
As a public health specialist i cannot agree more with you Dr. Prasad. The damage that is done to and by CDC by these flawed studies and questionable policy recommendations will echo for decades. Tuskegee study had a profound impact on African American community in the US causing chronic distrust in Public Health authorities for decades. I have a feeling that these 2 years will have similar impact on very large portion of US population.
Wow, the scale of it all. I'm just an anecdote, but speaking for myself I'll say my faith in these public health authorities has evaporated in the past few years.
And that is s good thing. Let's stop acting like the CDC only been corrupted for the last 2 years. Grown ups knew that Santa clause ain't real before the past 2 years.
What are you going to do when you open up a non-Goggle browser and learn that they doctored all their vax/neurodevelopment disorder stat studies as well? They didn't start this type of "epidemiology-over-biology" in 2020. It's been their life raft since the early '00s.
As an old school RN and Trump supporter, (registered democrat) I feel as I've been living on a different planet over the past few years. My husband and family think I'm the crazy one; but I paid attention in my Chemistry, Anatomy and Biology classes and knew from the get go that things didn't add up. My entire family rushed to get vaccinated and booster shots, except me. Just a little skeptical, yup, that's me. Whenever government or big pharma are involved, you just have to know it will be a $hit show. I don't trust the CDC or the WHO. I trust myself, the knowledge I've gained over 40 yrs. and my gut instinct. As for masks...just plain stupid; but the thing I'm most pissed off by is watching my grandkids get on the school bus wearing a mask and knowing they have to keep it on all day. I could scream and cry at the same time. My comments never get thumbs up and I don't expect this one to as FB blocks them. Just a rant from no one important. Keep up the good work Dr. while some of us go a tad crazy out here....
@@marthaball8029 I'm very much on the topic. why would you support trump? he has documented psychological problems. i share your science/medical evaluation re the "pandemic" -- but if you thought trump was your only choice as a conservative choice (as some sort of counter to the "left" democrats...), you blew it: there are other choices than trump to advance a right wing perspective...and a right wing perspective isnt irrational at all. but trump? -- wow. even mike pence has turned against trump...
And they’ve been openly admitting it since they said they recommended no masks because they wanted to save PPE for medical staff. And in reality, the masks don’t really work but it was the only face-saving way they could reopen because the people were going to do it whether the government wanted them to or not. How many times have we heard Dr. Fauci say he said something to get people to do what the powers that be want? All for the public good of course.
Lisa, Yes, the marketing blew my mind. Over the Christmas holiday, i forget which company, but they ran a TV commercial showing a little boy writing his Christmas wish list for Santa.....he had 3 things written. First was Toys (but it was crossed out) next said "games" also crossed out. Last, he had "vaccine" written!! No, it wasnt crossed out. I couldnt believe it.
I am an ICU RN. COVID has completely rocked my world and depleted my trust in so many government agencies. At the end of the day, I believe we should be doing anything and everything we can to help save lives. Not following protocols that have proven to be ineffective time and time again.
But MDs, if following the algorithms, are NOT subject to litigation. If they step outside of the prescribed path, they expose themselves to being sued if outcome is negative. Doctors turned into technicians and almost robots. It’s criminal how they monopolized healthcare.
Since I am retired it took me a while to realize what was happening in hospitals. Though I heard warnings such as if the patient required 5 L of O2 they must be intubated and vented. Only certain medications were allowed, which reports on the studies of those meds show they cause more issues than help. Absolutely no visitors. Now I can look back and see this coming. First there were the hospitalists, to make it easier on family docs not needing to round daily....OR was the real reason to break the doctor/patient bond? The insistence on corporatization of hospitals with the prime goal of profits, not patients. Required computer documentation, so government could immediately see what statuses are. This gave them the ammo to put protocols in place to cause life or death from afar. If I have the wrong perspective, please correct, but this is how it appears to the outside world.
Any MD that fails to report all after market vaccination reactions is screwed. Only Congress can make the law. And congressional legislation in the Vaccine Act of 1984 requires all after market vaccine reaction to be reported. ALL. Not some. Or just the bad ones. Or just some of the bad ones. IMO the wording in the legislation requires a VAERS report for every single vaccine dose and booster administered by doctors and facilities or they lose their limited liability for injury immunity. ALL must be reported. Good, bad deadly. Easy way to tell if they have followed the law, for every sale should have a VAERS number. Same for boosters. So if they published 200 million vaccines administered them there better be 200 million VAERS reports filed or they are Open to Injury Liability Claims IMO. This is going be FUN☕️🙉🙈🙊🤑
@@52marli there is a benefit to computerized records IF the info going into them from HUMAN clinicians is accurate and the platform is smart with good database to organize these data to make them USEFUL. The problem is that many systems are still backward. Info going in is NOT accurate: docs copy-pasting their notes from day to day despite Pt’s changing clinical picture; needed information difficult to find; lack of inter-operativeness amongst different platforms. As a result, amount of data increased significantly, compressing clinician’s time he/she is able to spend with the patient directly. It is messy. The mistake is conflating science with profit making. Back in the 1970s I was "head hunted" by pharma companies and biowarfare establishments. Even back then, I knew the score. This is nothing new. What *has* happened is the massive deregulation and regulatory capture.
Hi Dr. Prasad, I am a retired physician and I want to comment on your posts. I’ve been following a number of practitioners and information sources and I have come to respect your analyses very highly. I particularly appreciate your analysis of the scientific papers being published and your willingness to open up the question as to whether misinterpretations of these papers could possibly be intentional and be tied with agendas regarding the politics of the various agencies involved. Thank you so much for the work you do!
Yeah, and while most of us - tin foil hats knew that for over two years, he was commenting on papers which didn't make any sense while still pushing for j@bs.
@@vagabond4life I’m really curious if Dr. Prasad is yet aware all those unvaccinated myocarditis issues were just labeled as unvaccinated because they hadn’t reached the 14 days after jab 2. This one thing is so disgusting to me because it’s tainted a hell of a lot more than the inflated Covid myocarditis numbers. I feel it is just evil and can’t understand how it coincidentally occurred this exact way in every western country… Germany had finally announced it to the public and described it as a ‘glitch’. A two year period of using “unvaccinated” as a catch all category for less than 14 days after jab 2 but also it was used anytime vaccination status could not be determined. This is very bad.
If you don't mind me asking, as a retired physician, do you find Dr. Prasad's videos/statements about Covid science and our Covid response, which often inspires doubt and skeptism in our health care agencies, any more dangerous as things said by guest on Joe Rogan's podcast?
IMO Recruiting new customers is necessary. Baby boomers are the largest single generation customer base the For Profit Medical Marketplace was build by and for. And they are inevitably going EXTINCT. Each customer base that remains decrease exponentially in size, and the birth rate of future customers is plummeting past any form of customer replacement levels. In order to derive the same profit growth from a decreasing population base, you have to induce injury roulette games, that are liability free for the Marketplace Purveyors. And mandates guarantee Profit Returns. Salesman will do Anything to make you into their New Best Days of the Week Pill Case Customers. Anything.

I did a PhD between 2014 and 2018. I was very concerned about the quality of social science research. I saw a lot of research which structured the data collection and reporting to support radical political conclusions. As a research assistant I often infuriated my professor by bringing her research/data which showed two or more perspectives. She only chose what supported her agenda. A lot of what we were given to study was cherry picked. I angered some professors by reading other perspectives, pointing out flaws or logical fallacies in research, or even reading the whole book to really see what the writer was saying. It was particularly bad in areas of research into race, gender, and human sexuality. I believe they gave me a PhD just to get rid of me. I am not the brightest spark in the universe but I try to keep an open mind, read extensively as many perspectives as possible, and try it investigate how it all aligns with the real world, and with solving in an incremental manner mundane, real world problems for everyone: poverty, crime, inequality, pollution, unemployment and lack of decent jobs, lack of decent housing, poor quality education. My colleagues were more virtuous than me: they were intent on creating hedonistic utopias for the deserving few.
Sounds like you are an honest open-minded researcher, interested in looking deeply into all datasets to create the cleanest summary. I believe this is what propels science forward and all countries need people like you. As you have pointed out many of your classmates have been systematically convinced to see everything through an agenda lens aimed at serving a tiny fraction at the expense of the rest.
"I believe they gave me a PhD just to get rid of me. I am not the brightest spark in the universe" Well, you're the smartest PhD because you figured it out, and the point of those programs is to take people of middle-high intelligence and convince them they are mega-geniuses that understand the whole universe, so that you buy into the hedonistic utopias for the deserving few (you!). Good job getting clear of that.
I saw so many red flags. The first was when there was no mention of the importance of vitamin D, healthy diet and exercise. The second was the insistence that vaccines were necessary for every single person, even those with natural immunity. The third was when I saw the same public announcement on various university websites claiming that the science was clear and natural immunity was inferior to vaccination. The list goes on. Plenty of us who were yelled at for, "not following the science," when, in fact, we were following actual science.
I agree with you, except the fact is there was *plenty* of mention of Vit D -- in the actual literature, and from the VERY BEGINNING. We've known this whole time that low Vit D predicts death from covid. These bastards are guilty of mass murder.
@@jackiemoon1556 Oh I totally agree with you. What I mean is that data was available from the very, very beginning -- when the hydroxychloroquine data was coming out of France with Didier Raoult. Some of the earliest data I ever saw on the situation CLEARLY identified an association between low Vit D and death from covid. And that data has only grown stronger and stronger. It was at that point -- 2 years ago -- that I knew the public response by these murderous governmental actors worldwide had nothing to do with the promotion of public health: Vit D wasn't discussed, zinc wasn't discussed, *_losing weight_* wasn't discussed... The world *could have* undergone the most dramatic transformation towards health in all of human history over these last two years. That's ONE THING that was stolen from us over these last two years. One thing. Cheers

You have been very ballsy for speaking out against the narrative in media and the government. Thank you for risking your reputation, stature and JOB, in pursuing truth and promoting logic. I'm quite certain that history will be on your side.
@@jerrybrickley2115 no he hasn't. Have you even listened to him? He's said time and time again that he is against mandates and lockdowns. He's pro vaccine, bc he's a doctor, but he also advocates heavily for scientific studies of mask efficacy and natural immunity. He's stated that he believes natural immunity to be a factor. To lump him into the pro everything camp is shortsighted. It's clear you haven't been paying attention to his words and actions.
Dr Prasad, I’m a former public health professional living in kansas and I saw that in the MMWR, and what I said at the time is that typically the counties in KS that implemented mask mandates were larger population centers and those that didn’t were rural. Even in the summer of 2020 we knew that rural areas were “Late” to the Covid party, seeing rising cases later than the population centers which was true all over the USA even previously. So this wasn’t a simple mistake - it was at best negligence and at worst using science to perpetuate a lie. But having worked with the CDC on state and local projects, it wasn’t surprising. I don’t trust the CDC at all - even having been there several times.
I think it's becoming clearer as time goes by that it was more likely a case of using science to perpetuate a lie. The real question is why and who was really behind this, what's their end goals?
@Lawofimprobability Much like any conspiracy, look for the Agenda first, then look at the science to back it up. You can find "political fraud" in CDC studies in the late 90's and early 2000's when they started to try and downplay the overwhelming severity of the HIV cases in gay men, and black men who have sex with men. Compare the analysis from the early 90's to the late 90's and you see a marked shift in not only language, but the way the statistical data is manipulated/presented.
The late to the party group may have nothing to do with mask usage, that’s just pure speculation. It may be simply due to population density, and nothing else.
@Lawofimprobability I'd say if you haven't noticed the appalling incompetence of the CDC prior to 2019 it's only because you haven't had enough exposure to the effects of it. If you or someone you love has had any of the lesser-researched chronic diseases that are now basically ubiquitous, chronic lyme, ms, fibromyalgia, etc., you will find the CDC is an active combatant. Whatever treatments actually work, if they don't make money for pharmaceutical companies the CDC will work to discredit them. They even sabotage diagnosis efforts. For instance, their website says you CANNOT get Lyme disease anywhere in the US, only in certain areas, and doctors who still use the CDC take this as a simple scientific fact to dismiss people with Lyme symptoms who are not in the CDC's so-called Lyme regions. Surely the CDC wouldn't publish false information... but just take two minutes to think about that critically. It's a tick-born disease, that tick lives natively throughout the Eastern US and on the west coast, and it can ride on any animal that travels including humans and their pets. But the CDC says, if you're not in a few US states you can't get Lyme... harmful, useless incompetence.
LYSENKOISM is defined as the manipulation or distortion of the scientific process as a way to reach a predetermined conclusion as dictated by an ideological bias, often related to social or political objectives. -wikipedia
This has been a long time in the making. I've met quite a few public health types and was astounded at how readily such bright people would start with a conclusion and work backward to fill in the science.
Dr. Prasad, I am a medical student in my final year of studies. You are an inspiration and an important reason for me to have belief in the profession. I'm very demoralized and became cynical towards my chosen profession, thank you for everything.
It's pretty obvious by now, Prof. Prasad, and very painful that umbrella and "industry-branded" scientific organisations have completely moved under the auspices and ownership of politics.
Remember, 100% of Soviet scientists agreed that if you planted crops closer and in the wrong season together the plants would cooperate to grow stronger. Those who didn't agree were not real scientists nor Soviet. Until the famines, of course.
When you look back, so many breakthroughs in science came at a price. They went up against general consensus and either made it in the history books for their contributions or were pushed out by the community only to go crazy.
Covid is the biggest cherry picking fest in history..from the beginning..PR media uses biased stats like its an election campaign ..the lowest level of them all...selection bias all day every day...its in every single study from lockdowns to masks to infections to the Vaccine (defintion changed in september 2021 again..no immunity just protection..)..there needs to be one wave to education on basic selection bias ASAP..or this will go on forever..people fall for it every single time
On the idea of a two party science: We've had this system in place for decades. Look at the paid for scientists who skewed cigarette smoking data for companies, oil, etc. There are many other examples, but you already know
Vinay is an insightful man with a broad perspective beyond medicine. My take. The pandemic was a massive natural experiment in how far governments could push citizens into submission and get away with it. My problem is that half the population is willing to give up their civil liberties and the other half is willing to be reckless.
I think in reality it’s more like 40% are willing to give up their civil liberties, 30% are willing to be reckless and then there are 30% of us who aren’t willing to do either. There is a middle ground but unfortunately we unfairly get lumped into the reckless category.
I don't think questioning is reckless. I think you can still be careful , as I have been, but realize alot of the safety measures were unnecessary. I think alot of us prepared our bodies with the proper vitamins and exercise, and avoided large indoor gatherings and avoided interactions when we felt sick. Alot of us took the middle ground but were considered reckless for not going along with the crowd.
Thank you, Dr. Prasad, for your honesty and integrity in the face of societal pressure to support ill-conceived and maladaptive public health policies. The pandemic was almost certainly caused by the failure of government and the scientific community. That in itself was enough for me to question everything. Questioning everything has always been the cornerstone of good scientific method. Thank you for supporting good science.
Your balanced approach, clear reasoning and passion for good quality science gives me hope, even in a crazy place like BC in Canada that does not recognize natural immunity at all. It's like living in a nightmare and watching a message from outside.
It is awesome to watch people who are actually interested in science. There are so many firmly set in their camps on either side that it is so wonderful to listen to people who are actually willing to be open to the what is actually present
I’m a doctoral student in Public Health with a masters in clinical research administration… I can’t tell you how much I appreciate VP. I learn so much from you Dr. Prasad…. And you have kept me sane through these times as so many non-sensible things have come through in the name of science. Sadly, so many people are pushing the information that’s being put out by the CDC with the fall back of citing the CDC as their credible source. This has been maddening for me, who has the ability to assess the data. I’ve been perplexed for almost 2 years now… it’s confusing and terrible what has happened to this institution. It’s exhausting trying to explain or debate those folks who don’t have the skills to assess scientific studies and simply go by what the CDC tells them.

Japan has done very well. Either than everyone wearing masks even outdoors and them locking down the border, they have no mandates and no vaccination requirements. @@bentencho Japanese are VERY compliant about wearing masks. For one thing, before there was ever this COVID outbreak, I would see up to at least 10% of the people on trains wear masks during the regular flu and cold season. Masks probably help to some extent in reducing the viral load and the transmission from person, but they overdo it here. I see all these school kids wear masks outdoors on the playground or when they are walking to school. @@davidhepler800 What a romantic notion you have of Japan. I have to ask, why are they wearing masks in the first place? Why? Pre COVID it was either because they knew they were sick or else they were trying to protect themselves from the sick. Extremely unimpressed with sick people being out. That "mask" is to try to contain the results of a sick person. Japan as a society resisted staying at home instead placing 100% reliance on a piece of cloth. Recommend Tony Heller (on YT, Odysee, etc.) for insights into how climate pseudo science is foisted on the public. Lots of bad science for quite some time now.
What we have learnt is that when to comes to important decisions most people, especially politicians, put 'science' very far down the totem pole when it compared to emotion, moral values (or lack thereof), tribalism or good old fashion mysticism. We have seen absolutely zero transparency from our governments about how or why these decisions are made, let alone who should be held accountable if they're wrong, yet they appeal to 'the science' as if it came down from the heavens and cannot be questioned.
@@shsummers as in the CDC, and pharma, climate science is dominated by the IPCC and poltical funding. Not one of the institutions is worthy of its role anymore. Brett Weinstein and Heather Heying have called out the conclusion driven "science" on the Dark Horse podcast for a while now, at no small cost to themselves.
Great podcast, they have been strong voices of reason through this. I think they will be fine even though they take a few hits. They can evolve and adapt.
For medical professionals that have already gone through rigorous education for their occupation, they can see what's wrong with CDC studies, WHO recommendations, ridiculous mandates etc....I'm concerned the the new education will teach how to conduct research to simply be manipulated to be in favor of a theory instead of how to find truth.
In President Eisenhower's famous speech where he warned of the military industrial complex he also warned of the politicization of science. Here we are with both. Thanks for you clarity and courage
Yes, indeed, so much of society is now beholden to the "pharmaceutical industrial complex" and people have been lulled into believing that all we have to do is pop a pill for whatever ails us. Only if the general population wakes up to the fact that PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY is the foundation of all good health will we ever begin to transform the reactive "illness care" model we currently have into a "wellness care" model of health and well-being.
Thank you Sir! What a refreshing voice of practical, fact based, common sense. Those of us who aren't buying any of it need to hear from people like you.
Has science become a slogan? It certainly has here in Australia where we are constantly told to "believe the science" without anyone yet offering up any. I call it "Scientism". Sadly there is a large part of the community here that believes the scientific method involves some politician telling them to believe, sounds like the opposite of scientific to me.
I absolutely LOVE your channel.... so informative and balanced.👍🏻 love hearing you take on natural immunity as many are quick to dismiss it and say it only lasts a couple months. Dr. Prasad, thank you for providing a reasonable, thoughtful and honest view of "the science". Please keep reaching out to the masses. Your work and voice are vital.
I would say it would be very helpful to our country to have Vinay on Joe Rogan. But then on the other hand, Dostoevsky wrote in Crime and Punishment ""What irks me is that they lie and then they worship their own lies." So it probably would not make a difference.

Dr. Prasad’s ability to analyze and disseminate data /‘ information is top notch. In a world of fading trust he’s there shining a light and giving hope to people. Thanks Doc
This is why the CDC, or any agency, must be responsible to representatives of the people, and further, should be allowed only an advisory role. It is inconceivable that any bureaucracy of any kind will work for anything other than it's own perpetuation, no matter who is in charge, no matter how "sincere" that person may be.
Thank you! I cannot express my true gratitude that you are addressing this issue! It was evident to some of us early on that the words “follow the science” were being politicized and used as a sword to slay opposing views! We, as a people, need to demand the uncoupling of laws, regulatory bodies, and government! No more corruption! If it isn’t a business deal you feel good telling your grandmother about then it isn’t a trustworthy business deal!
Thank you so much for being intelligent, human, and truly caring. In the medical field, you are truly refreshing, especially being at UCSF. I salute you.
The solution to the CDC dilemma hinges less upon making it a more independent entity with authority. Rather, it should be an entity with less authority. With less authority, the benefits of manipulating it diminish, which in turn allows it to be more independent. The CDC should be a resource that doctors can draw upon as opposed to an entity that imposes policy on doctors. Individual doctors and individual patients have been all but excluded from the formula, which is the opposite of what we should have. The CDC has been used as both a crutch and a club throughout this, and that should not be their role. The CDC should be A source for making personal healthcare choices, not THE source.
"You should not distort the scientific process to get people to do what you want," (my paraphrase) Dr Vinay Prasad MD MPH. This is the fundamental hinge point of the last two years of COVID policy.
I’m conflicted as to which science is currently less believable: medical science or environmental science? Thanks for your videos. I wish there was an environmental equivalent of you. 😖
When suspect climate science is introduced as a benchmark for what has happened as an equivalent in the Covid theater of cruelty I really do have to question the motives of the suggestion. The regulatory capture in both cases is and has been very similar. But I think it needs to be pointed out that research which has the support of the regulators. And research which has a wide range of disciplines far more insulated from influence of regulators renders this introduction a false equivalency. There are and have long been far more compelling reasons to support climate science. That it is now a political football is pretty sad. The Covid landscape is a singularity with an industrial corporate agenda that has sublimated all reason.
@@kazparzyxzpenualt8111 not sure how you are thinking climate science is far more compelling? The models that drive climate assertions are suspect as new/better/different information is measured or observed. Our universe and climate is significantly older that the science data we have to evaluate it. There is probably substantially more realistic scientific data in the medical community than the climate community.
We also need a group that includes the economy and mental health experts and more to get a wholistic picture of what is being affected by things like a pandemic.
I agree, separate science from politicians to get to the data showing facts rather than bad data to assist politicians with their own political agenda.
Great presentation Dr Prassad your sincerity and concern shines through. I had a 40 year career in healthcare and I have a sense of despair at what is called medical science now. I cannot contemplate that things will continue as they have been going.

We are absolutely at an inflection point as a nation and civilization. Thank you so much for your educated, unbiased explanation of the status quo throughout this pandemic. I really hope the veil is dropped sooner than later and more people are able to see through the farce that is the cdc and politics in general right now.
I've been listening to you for a while. It's great to see your views start to align with what's really happening. I think you initially wanted to be balanced without going along with the conspiracy theory narrative. Clearly, you're researching and discovering what a lot of us sensed from the beginning. Some things are not quite right with the mainstream data.
What do you do when you discover that your trusted friend has started smoking crack? After the initial shock, you learn that he is no longer a source for accurate information. You realize that his focus has shifted toward a self serving agenda. You realize that he is part of an unholy alliance and you ensure that you do nothing more to enable his addiction. It's time for docs to distance themselves from the CDC, and to call it like it is.
Same here.
That's what did it for me too
@@YN-ot9jk Right on! I know science changes but c’mon, man!!?? 🤣
That's a golden balanced list of speakers there! I'm in Cali too. Things are lifting up more in my rural town.
I agree with your selection of people except zdogg, I've found him be not only wrong often but not nearly as scientific.. I like data so the people you mentioned fit my needs very well. Sadly they aren't mainstream.

The CDC publishes studies to "get you to do what they want you to do." The word you're looking for is "manipulation."

I am an ICU RN. COVID has completely rocked my world and depleted my trust in so many government agencies. At the end of the day, I believe we should be doing anything and everything we can to help save lives. Not following protocols that have proven to be ineffective time and time again.
Same, Critical care RN too
But MDs, if following the algorithms, are NOT subject to litigation.

My problem is that half the population is willing to give up their civil liberties and the other half is willing to be reckless.
And the two halves largely hate each other more than ever. Whoever is watching has taken note.
I think in reality it’s more like 40% are willing to give up their civil liberties, 30% are willing to be reckless and then there are 30% of us who aren’t willing to do either. There is a middle ground but unfortunately we unfairly get lumped into the reckless category.
@@Gr8flGrrl I'm with you. My guess at the numbers is a bit different but same idea.

@@shsummers as in the CDC, and pharma, climate science is dominated by the IPCC and poltical funding. Not one of the institutions is worthy of its role anymore. There are two main malign influences - WEF globalists, and the massive transfer of wealth from the many to the few leveraging power (including hedge funds as well as individuals).
Environmental crises are hoaxes generally speaking.
Diabetes study that didn't adjust for BMI? Lovely.
Or the article that said vaccination is better than natural infection based solely on that Vax after natural immunity bumps it up, not comparing just natural immunity versus vax
Oh, gee amazing studies show to support the belief of the person funding the study. Who could have seen that happening. Almost as good as trusting a poll.
Al my respect to this Physician-scientist who gives a very nuanced, balance, factual disambiguation of facts that have been politicized and have become unintelligible.
That is very concerning. Especially since many of the educational institutions were in support and compliance of what was being pushed .
Using data to support a predetermined conclusion is nothing new.
Dr Vinay, Thank you for your truth and honesty.
Thank you for speaking the truth on this matter and not some obfuscated political misleading tyrannical mumbo jumbo. Thank you.
Thumbs up for using “ myriad “ correctly
Has science become a slogan? It certainly has here in Australia where we are constantly told to "believe the science" without anyone yet offering up any. I call it "Scientism". Sadly there is a large part of the community here that believes the scientific method involves some politician telling them to believe, sounds like the opposite of scientific to me.
here in Canada it is "Follow the Science". Yes... politicians... we are starting to notice the global taglines.
Well stated. Thank you for your outstanding work and needed voice.
I absolutely LOVE your channel.... so informative and balanced.👍🏻 love hearing you take on natural immunity as many are quick to dismiss it and say it only lasts a couple months. I'd love to hear more about T cell and B cell immunity post infections.... how does it all work, how long does it last...
Incredibly well done. Thank you VP.
COURAGEOUS-RELEVANT-ACCURATE- Much respect Dr. Prasad
Thank you, Dr Prasad 🙏
Not really. The main problem with so-called "misinformation" is that those who call it that never explain why it's wrong.
Great book and great quote. Very apropos!
Keep the pressure on and the accountability at the forefront!
Dr. Prasad you are a righteous dude. The CDC goes to the highest bidder.
Defund the CDC, FDA, IRS, WHO...
you realize that's an entirely different person, right?
@@alireid5874 oops, past my bedtime.
All of these health professionals that have known this all along, and have been ridiculed, punished and stripped of your licenses, this is your time to shine. Join the Freedom Alliance and expose truth. Lots of love, and strength in unity.
the way cheap, effective and safe treatments like hcq, vitamin D and ivermectin were blocked makes me wonder if treatments for other diseases have been blocked.
Last year I read that some cancer patients who used ivermectin for COVID went into remission. Suspicious minds want to know. Connect those dots. $$$$$$ .
You are saying everything I've been thinking. Truth to power will prevail with voices like yours. Thank you.
Thank you for this fresh, honest and expert assessment and commentary.
Commenting again on your videos because I am so grateful for you speaking truth to this problem. Thank you for presenting bipartisan information here.
Outstanding work.
YOU MADE MY LOCAL NEWS!! Your article was referenced by the attorney general in Missouri!! I was like, "I listen to him!!" Way to go!!
the cdc is all about 'political science' and $$$...
💯
This is such a brilliant breakdown. I don't know you personally but we are family.
"It is difficult to get a person to understand something when their salary depends upon his not understanding it."

Thank you VP! Yes the sacred nature of science will continue no doubt! Thanks to truth-loving articulate scientists like you !!!
I’m conflicted as to which science is currently less believable: medical science or environmental science? Thanks for your videos. I wish there was an environmental equivalent of you. 😖
Answers in Genesis with Ken Ham cover environmental science with integrity.
@@timvandermey4792 Thanks, but I’m more of a Hugh Ross/Tim Mackie kind of guy.
Every time I hear a person claiming "the science is settled" when referencing climate, my brain explodes...science is never settled.
Just read your article. Well done, Dr. Prasad. I respect your open mindedness, objective, true science/evidence based perspective.
Ooh. It does seem that "science" IS "a branch of politics." Brilliant work. Thanks again!
If you don't study banking or witchcraft you have no idea who set up the political environment that fosters deception.
Great presentation Dr Prassad your sincerity and concern shines through. I had a 40 year career in healthcare and I have a sense of despair at what is called medical science now. I cannot contemplate that things will continue as they have been going.
Thanks Doc!

Another slam dunk on reality! Sharing this as far and wide as possible.
The CDC would have had to embraced science in order to abandon it - so no, they haven't abandoned a position they never held.
Just simply want to thank you Dr Prasad. You have been a very rare source of intelligent and logical information through this mess. Bless you sir.
Thx for you ethic
Great and informative video. I stopped trusting health and government agencies when they ignored natural immunity. Showed me they weren't actually looking at the science.
Honest question: is there any data from the CDC that we can trust at this point?
if you have to ask, then you better watch the video again. The truth ca be hard to absorb, but it is right in front of you.
Very well said as usual. This should be shared widely.

It is refreshing to hear a clear and well presented description of the current state of affairs.
You are the best! You are my "go to" source for clearly identifying the various ambiguities and nuances and limitations of scientific inquiry.
