Lo primero de todo agradecerte la realización de este tutorial. Comentar que no importa desoldar el conector. La parte de plástico de este tipo de conectores sale fácilmente haciendo palanca con el cutter, con lo que se puede cortar la pista sin necesidad de desoldar, que siempre es más complicado. Un saludo.
Actualizo información. Para poder programar el PIC 18F4520 después de este tutorial tuve que actualizar el firmare según tu otro tutorial "Firmware PIC K150 Programmer Upgrade". Gracias de nuevo. Un saludo.

I received one yesterday (24/09/2021) and the short is still there. Thank you very much for posting this. I removed the short with a cutter as indicated in the video, however unsoldering the connector is not required, you just have to slide the plastic out, this exposes the trace to be cut, and once you have cut the trace, you can slide the white plastic piece right back onto the pins.

Hola tengo un problema al momento de programar el pic termina y me dice "Fuse error 0x2007 Good 0x032A Bad 0x1F2A" a que se debe esto?

Hola una pregunta, si yo al hacer eso con la cuchilla sólo estoy reparando el grabador para que me reconozca los de 40 pines? Eso quiere decir que dejará de funcionar con los de 18, 28, etc PIC’s? Por favor gracias por respondes.

Nice sir,I have new one purchase k150 programmer.I use windows 7 32 bit.sir my problem was not install proper driver. windows was showing usb not recognised.please help me and any suggestion for me.please sir reply to message.

Thanks for sharing such an Awesome video. Dear I recently ordered K150 programmer but I m not getting it connected to usb com port of my laptop.
My laptop detects it on usb com port 20.
But the K150 programmer gives option for single digit usb com port, I mean from 0 to 9, so I can not feed usb com port 22 as detect by my laptop in device manager. I would be very much thankful to you if you can guide me as how can I get it connected to my laptop USB port.

Y ese problema lo tienen todos los k150?, acabo de hacer las pruebas con el multímetro, y hay continuidad tal y como muestras en tu video, gracias
Sólo los modelos TS8900-K150, (tal y como se muestra en el video), puedes realizar antes si gustas una prueba con PICs de 40 pines para que veas que no funciona, marca error y se corrige realizando el corte de la pista como lo muestro en el video, también te sugiero que actualices el firmware como en mis anteriores videos, saludos
Gracias, no me reconoce los de 40 ni los de 28, vi tu otro video de actualizar el firmware y oh sorpresa el pic que trae viene soldado, tengo 4 asi que compre en oferta, no sabia de esto hasta que vi tu video.
Desóldalos con cuidado y usa otro de los programadores para cargarle el firmware, (procura usar el software que proporciono ya que es la versión más nueva) y tu programador PIC funcionará al 100%, todo tiene solución, recuerda suscribirte a mi canal y compartir mis videos, te lo agradeceré

Eu fiz a atualizaçao, e inclusive uma das versoes do microbrn tem o f716... Ele reconhece o device e o id, consegue ler a Rom, mas nao grava o hex, da esse mesmo erro do video
Luis Alberto Borja Gómez hj pela manha eu fiz algumas ateraçoes no arquivo cid adicionando o 716, e ele finaliza a gravaçao, porem, ele pega o codigo do primeiro bloco e repete tudo...
o mais engraçado é que ana versao 14 do microbrn tem o 716, ja a versao 15 nao, mas ambas dao o mesmo erro nesse pic
