It would have been better if you had compared BSE /NSE in regard to volumes for year ended 2021. As BSE in regard to volumes in 2021 is generating a great good volumes compared to 2020.

Problem with NSE is min lot size is 2000. So very few dealers deals in NSE. Plus, it takes 2 months time to credit shares.

Yes, it is possible. In case of NSE, the documentation and process takes atleast 2 months time.
