As a Hispanic woman living in Texas... Katie thank you for being respectful and capturing the beauty. My abuelita lived deep in the desert in Durango Mexico. She wore aprons with her hand done embroidery. She passed away and it broke my heart. I managed to get a hold of one of her aprons, I'm going to take out one of the patches of embroidery and attach it to the end of my wedding veil. I want you to know I absolutely love this soap and I'm going to try really hard to get my hands on one to gift it to my mom and dad. I've watched you for many years, like.... 5 and I'm so proud of you. Thank you so much. I know it sounds silly but this soap means a lot to me. Thank you for respecting our culture, and admiring the beauty. P.s. obvi I loved the piñatas that you beat the devil out of. 😂💙
Just wanted to say I’m sorry for your loss, but you’re amazing for the respect and effort you’re putting into keeping her memory alive. I hope you have a lovely life and a beautiful wedding
I mean, yes, I am here from Saf’s video.... but your bright and cheerful personality has encouraged me to binge watch a bunch of your videos. I’m pretty much obsessed with soap making now... 😂😂😂
It's the same with me 😂 i guess i will start with somw basic melt&pour 😅 just don't know who will end up using all my soaps that i already have in mind 😂😂😂
As a mexican, i feel so happy that something from my culture inspired you to make this amazing soap, It captures perfectly the essence of those dresses and piñatas!
It makes me so happy ur admire our culture and even made a soap inspired in it. Even happier that you are so respectful when talking about other cultures. And yes, the soap captures that, embroidered, piñata essence and I love it so much even though I wasn't able to get one when they were available.
Beautiful birthday soap! Growing up our neighbor would host and Easter Egg hunt for all the neighborhood kids and set up a piñata that was generally geared more towards the preteens or teens. One year said neighbor, who is a terribly crafty fellow, made his own piñata. Usually the older kids would try to smash it with all their might but he came ready that year.. we always got blind folded, which added to the hilarity, but for the life of us NO ONE could bust into that hand crafted chicken piñata. We took turns for so long, the adults got involved, no dice.. finally, the masterful creator cut it open for us and the candy after all of that brutalizing was just.. dust. He had used a plastic trash can for the body and held the thing together with just a bit too much duct tape, but it looked cool as hell, and is the only piñata in my life that has some solid childhood memories attached to it. Straight up indestructible.. it was amazing.
I really enjoy watching you make the non-frosted soaps. Something about the large flat canvas of swirling possibilities is very satisfying, and the final product in its rectangular shape is like an abstract painting. ❤️👍
What is wrong with you, 94 people who gave this a thumbs down???? Katie, this is quite possibly the BEST soap you've made this YEAR! (and possibly ever!!!) Lovin' it! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
i love the “beat it to death” ones cuz i had one at my preschool during cinco de mayo, and i was the only person who was able to get all the candy out. it was super fun, and now i’m excited every time i get a piñata
Yep I came here the day Saf did her soap making video.... But I have watched at least 40 of your videos since then! I love your personality, your voice is Soothing, watching you make soap is relaxing. Love love love. Wish I were in the USA to make buying from you a not really expensive proposition... Darn those postal rates from USA to Australia, they are the bane of our existence when we want awesome American goodies. As for the piñata... I have never seen pull string ones! I never had a piñata as a kid, but I'm 41 so that may be why. I got my daughter one for her birthday last year and it was a lot of fun to watch the kids beat!
I just received my first royalty soaps order about an hour ago, right off the bat it smells HEAVENLY! I got night jasmine. It lathers well and doesn’t leave my skin all dried out and crusty. It’s so awesome being able to watch you make these soaps and then being able to purchase it and use it in my home! I’m going to be getting one for every sink. Thank you keep up the incredible work! ❤️
I love the colors!! It reminds me of the Partridge Family (loved that show).... "Hello world here's a song that we're singing , Come on get happy. A whole lotta lovin' is what we'll be bringing, We'll make you happy......."
I absolutely adore you Katie!! Thank you for sharing your art with us! I love that you are using the "corn" cup and working to get rid of single use plastic! I know it might not matter to everyone, but it makes me want to support you even more!!! Your video are so relaxing to me and you and your family totally inspire me! After all you have been through recently, thank you for keeping on!!!!
This has got to be one of the prettiest Flat top soaps, That I think you have Ever made. The color explosion just blows my mind that you can get that in a soap. I can't wait to get my studio set up, as I have just moved into a new space. Still getting unpacked as it takes me a little longer with my disability then it does most people. This video has inspired me so much. I also to watch tree Marie soapworks. She has got some really good videos. I can't wait to see what she does in the future with her channel. Thank you for honoring her in creating this soap. Take care and God-bless Deb
I love watching your videos. Your soap is always beautiful! I think you should do a soap design for each astrological sign. I think that would be neat!
It makes me so happy to see you guys making the switch to more easily biodegradable tools!!! I love the earth and nature probably more than most people and when people with influence like yourselves make that switch ut inspires more people to make that switch as well! Plant more trees, clean the seas, and save the bees!!!
As a mexican I can say that you nailed it, love it love it love it!! Regards from Monterrey, Mexico. You encourage me to keep doing, when I am not in the mood I simply watch you videos and instantly want to make more soap, even is only for personal use, Thank you so much for share with us.
Personally, i like "Duchess of Suds" rather than "One of the soap makers here on this channel"... can you change it back? To me you are the Royal Highest who started this channel, and thus, deserve being called something special. 😁
back in elementary school, during certain holidays, upperclassmen would make piñatas for us kids and we’d crack them open. WELL, when it came to MY turn, (i was the third kid to take a crack at it) i hit it so hard that it fell off of the ceiling and hit a desk, so i had to smash it into the ground to open it and honestly, i felt powerful. edit: after that, the teachers never let me hit the piñata until everyone else was done
Oh wow, I love this so much! The fragrance description + swirl top reminded me of Fruit Stripes gum (with far less white). I always loved Fruit Stripes for at least 30 seconds, lol. Was it just me, or did that gum lose its flavor fast as heck? Good memories, though - and that's why I love your channel.
I’m a fairly new subscriber (within the past 2 weeks) and I’ve been binge watching so many of your videos, and must have been good timing because I was able to buy from the most recent launch and I’m in love with the soaps 😍 I got lemon verbena, strawberry basil lemonade and Monet’s lily pond and they made my day as soon as I got them! Love what you do, thank you for making my life a bit brighter 💕
So I'm new here and have been BINGE WATCHING Katie. And I LOVE that she just clarified that her mixing cups are biodegradable because a few days ago I was kind of bummed about her cups but hoped she washed them lol. She is SO great!
Wow! Amazing! I love it! It’s a mirror image of your drawing!!! I never had a piñata when I was a child, but I had them for my 3 kids and beating it is the best part...the candy and toys are just the icing on top! I have been watching you channel for years and just love your personality!
Omg, I love this! Katie, thanks for your note in my order. It was my first time ordering from you and seeing that note really made me smile. I LOVE this design and will have to order it when it's available. I have a story about piñatas. We were having a first birthday party for my niece. Her sisters are a few years older, so we had some kids about their age (6-9) there for them to have fun with. We had a piñata and all the kids tried to break it with the stick that came with it. None of them could do it, so the adults tried. On the first try, the stick hit the piñata and broke, hitting my brother in law in the mouth, almost breaking his tooth. He was okay, just really shook up. That was 20 years ago and we still talk about it.
Halfway through I forgot she was making soap and thought it was cake... Also I never heard of the pull the string pinata so beat to death was my favorite. But I've only seen and beaten 1 piñata
It's TRUE. Saf sent me here and now I am HOOKED. Your videos are so satisfying and I love your creativity. Already made 2 batches and bought your piping set and frosting recipe!
i watch loads of makeup videos on YT as well as Royalty’s channel, so every time you say “let’s blend!” i get super hard eyeshadow flashbacks. lol btw, LOVE LOVE LOVEEE this soap! so fun &pretty. 💙☺️
Well technically I'm here because of Holo Taco soap... But saw Saf's attempt at soap making. And watched Corinne make fish in a bag soap. How about a Royal colab with one of or all of the holy trinity Safiya, Cristine, & Corinne! Please!!! P.S. You're Awesome ♥️

Hello, welcome!
Same!!
Is it just me that loves the little twangly sound the bar cutter wires make? It makes my brain happy 😂

As a Mexican, I felt so happy to hear how much you loved the simple things in our traditions and culture 😭❤️
You should watch Saf's video, react to it and also recreate the soap she tries to make in that video with your own twist! 😎
Yaaasss
Yes!
Oooooo a colab!
I hope she gets to meet Saf at VidCon!
Omg, yes!
As a mexican, i feel so happy that something from my culture inspired you to make this amazing soap, It captures perfectly the essence of those dresses and piñatas!
I love being able to see the fragrance description. Thank you Katie! 6:29

She said Mexican soap dresses 😂😂 i love her lol yes you made us proud. Thank you for the representation!!
I really appreciate you using biodegradable corn-based clear cups and biodegradable glitters.
As a fellow earthling, I appreciate you so much!
I love Katie and Kenny. The fact that she is so environmentally conscious is awesome!!!

Living in San Antonio for the past 17 years, I have really grown to appreciate vibrant colors. This is gorgeous!
Perfect timing! I just finished making a loaf after binge watching your channel and was hoping to see a new one pop up! Yay for me!
Cara Cole Ooo What colors and scent?
Cara Cole what color, pattern, and scent did you use?😄 Sorry for being so nosy.
It's so flattering to see you have an interest in Latin culture!! Your soap is beautiful, Katie. As always. Congrats!! 🪅
🥰 I love it! I love love the fact this soap reminds me so much of my abuelitas house!
The colours are GORGEOUS and the embeds are just the cherry on top. Easily one of my favourite soaps this year.
Piñata theme on OUR birthday month makes total sence to me, I'm mexican and piñatas are a must in birthday parties.
I absolutely adore you Katie!! Thank you for sharing your art with us! I love that you are using the "corn" cup and working to get rid of single use plastic! Also, I also love the embroidered Mexican dresses :)
hands down best soap you've created ... YET!!!
Personally, i like "Duchess of Suds" rather than "One of the soap makers here on this channel"... can you change it back? To me you are the Royal Highest who started this channel, and thus, deserve being called something special. 😁
Queen of Suds
Yaaas, Dutchess. That swirl is everything. The lace is mindblowing. So beautiful.

HOLY COW YOU DID NAIL IT!! 🎉 Perfecto! 👌 And I might say one of the prettiest patterns too. 🧡❤💙💚💛🤍💖
Ahh I hope to see Downton Abbey themed soap! Maybe lavender bergamot like in some English teas? I'm sure Mr Carson would approve ;)
So I'm new here and have been BINGE WATCHING Katie. And I LOVE that she just clarified that her mixing cups are biodegradable because a few days ago I was kind of bummed about her cups but hoped she washed them lol. She is SO great!
I like Tree Marie Soap Works. She does great work too. Love this soap, Katie
Hands down best soap you have ever done.
Absolutely stunning! This might be my favorite soap you've ever created!!😍😍
AAAAA!!! THE TINY MIXER! 😆💞
Thank you for changing your release date hopefully. It has been so frustrating as it falls on the ONLY day of the month I can't be home.
Wow! Amazing! I love it! It’s a mirror image of your drawing!!! I never had a piñata when I was a child, but I had them for my 3 kids and beating it is the best part...the candy and toys are just the icing on top! I have been watching you channel for years and just love your personality!

You guys should do a month themed around Studio Ghibli!!!
YES
Love it... Yes you have captured the magic of Mexican color heritage... 😁🤗🎉🎊
Definitely review her video. It would be amazing.
i watch loads of makeup videos on YT as well as Royalty’s channel, so every time you say “let’s blend!” i get super hard eyeshadow flashbacks. lol btw, LOVE LOVE LOVEEE this soap! so fun &pretty. 💙☺️
I am from Mexico and i love this!!! 😇😊🥰
I feel like this kind of top would look great with a peacock themed soap!! Ex. Blues, greens, purples, golds, etc.!! Pretty much royal colors!
I don't watch threagbangers but I would really want to see collab with Cristine the Holo Queen and with Safiya.
I had never watched soap making before Safiya's video but afterwards I went on a hunt to find some solid soap content and found your lovely channel! I'll probably never make soap in my life but I love watching you do it. You're an amazing artist.
As a Mexican I must say that the “pull string” piñatas are not piñatas 😂😅🤷🏻♀️
Would you by chance have some links or be able to share some information on real piñatas?
I didn't even know they existed until today. lmao Apparently, they're a very recent invention.
Better to use rope, I don’t know if it’s because I’m Mexican but I love spicy candy, anything covered in chili powder and has tamarindo!
Also enjoy mazapán every now and then!^^
As a Mexican i must say I've never heard of a pull string piñata 😂
After a bit of research, apparently the "pull ribbon" type of piñatas are Cuban in origin and have been around as early as the 1940's-1950's. I guess Cubans that honeymooned in Mexico in the 40's brought the tradition of piñatas back with them but made a few modifications
The vamps song while she was mixing: gave me absolute life. Period.
I got my 2 sample packs today and am loving how each of them smell!
How do you get a sample pack? I didnt see one online for purchase
Which flavors did you get?
TreeMarie is great! And so are this soaps swirls!! I love that type of top! Way to go!
THIS IS BY FAR MY FAVORITE SOAP YOU HAVE EVER MADE!!! 😭😭😭💜💜💜
ALSO MAKE A REACTION VIDEO FOR SAFIYA’S VIDEO
Yes!!!
i think this is the best drop swirl you have ever done!!! i love this!!!!
It seems that Saturday at 3 will win that's when I work 😭
8pm releases are more convenient for me
Amani E. Saaammmeee
Oh YES, I love it....too!! Love all those pretty chunky colors!!
July, my birthday month! :D
I started watching your channel a week ago, and I was worried because I was running out of content :P Thank you for uploading :)
I love those fresh fruity scents! Fabulous looking soap & colors! Yep, you nailed it!
Hello Katie,
Would you do a Ballerina soap theme? I was thinking ballet slippers
I’m such a soap making addict! I watch them every night. 😂 And because of Safiyas video I’m finding so many more soap channels. I’m the person who puts on a playlist and just lets it run. Every ad, every bit just plays as I drift off to sleep pretending I’m a soap making genius.
you should try and get your hands on some duo chrome Mika and make a soap with it!!!!!!
I don't think the duo chrome effect would work for cold process soap, but a melt and pour with it would be fab!
I loved the mixing of the colorants separately ! Very satisfying!
Please react to her video! She's the reason I found you and I'm so grateful for it! Your videos are so therapeutic and I want to make soap bc of you! 🤗💕
WOW! This is our favorite soap design you have created this year!
Oooh, the reaction video would be very cool and funny. hahahahah Bring along Kenny too, \o\
I definitely started looking at soap making video’s after Safiya Nygard’s video and fell in love with Katie’s cheerful and fun personality! I don’t know that I will ever make soap but it’s so fun to watch!
I see Sat afternoon is winning. Nooooo! Goodbye soap releases. Oh well. Tantrum over. :)
the best part about this months theme is you can literally do whatever you want as long as you like it
Saturdays is probably best because it's around most people's paydays
Amazing swril .... Me too a big fan of Tree Marie ... Especially the way she mixes her mica.... Totally soothing
I voted Saturday night, but really Saturday in general works really well, because it might be right after pay day. :P
This is the most beautiful soap I have ever seen ! You are a master at soaping!!!
Katie: I don’t want glitter to take away from it.
Cat: *gasp* BLASPHEMY
😂
(Cat is a bit of a glitter head with our soaps lol)
This might be my absolute favorite of yours!!
That top swirl! Do more!!!
I feel honoured to be so early because I will be one of ur first fans that will see the finished product😂🥰
I’m here thanks to Safiya!! So thanks for all the great content. My kids and I love to watch you!!
@royalty soaps don't put corn plastics in the compost! My city is having major issues with people putting the stuff in our municipal compost, it takes way too long to break down and messes up the system.
THE COLORS!!!! Gurrrrl I LOVE this soap!
LAADLE LAADLE LAADLE LEE
Don't know why this pops in my head every time you say ladle.
(perks to anyone who gets the joke)
Oooohhh i loveeeee the top!!!! So gorgeous! That kinda scalloped look definitely fits the theme so well!
