One problem causes the other: you can’t ban people for restarting their connection, because the game itself locks so often, Blizzard is forcing people to disconnect & reconnect through no fault of the player.
imagine losing every third game because combat bugs out and you must restart haha
What they really need is if they insist on making end of turn animations last 30 seconds and some combats take forever, is to like sync the combat and have a standard turn timer for all players like TFT does. You have to wait for all players to finish combat before starting the next round and it’s so much better. Also rotating through players in a set order rather than random.
The minion shuffling bug is definitely not always only a graphical glitch. I've often had my minion order disrupted because of this bug.

Yea it happens a lot on the BG ladder. But only for the minions to the far right.
Just saw it happen with a yulon triggering on my tarecgosa and sending her all the way to the right I genuinely thought I was imagining it and must've moved it there myself then it happened again with a battlecry minion moving away from my murkeye

The shuffling bug is visual when it happens in combat but not visual when it happens during your tavern turn which is the old shuffle bug.
Surprisingly very up-to-date content, he just streamed this game yesterday.

Also, your ending isn’t just for duo’s. I disconnected from a battlegrounds game and couldn’t reconnect at all, ever. The solution was to keep the entire Blizzard client logged out for 30 minutes. 😮

I had this happen on the last day of last patch
its. so bug ridden i only play a bit and if i encounter one i just stop playing, imagine bugging out in end of turn, suddenly popping no wifi when you clearly have internet. i really hope they fix this

And there are also all sorts of issues with full screen on secondary monitor, although HS is exactly the type of game you might run on your second monitor.
There is also an obvious option to add much more info to the player, so we do not need to run and look at 3rd party deck trackers and stats (this can all be hidden in obscured menus to turn on/off, so it still looks like a fun kids game on the surface).
So when do they just start over with HearthStone 2?
Your cards and achievements carry over, but the change happens when a new year in HS starts (so if the transfer of old cards has issues, then there is still something to work with). HS1 is discontinued, and HS2 has new basic coding.
The game must surely slowly be dying, and in order to revitalise it, then recoding it and calling it HS2 seems like the logical move to me. The game is essentially the same, just with new cards (as is usual for each new "year" in the game), but they just have a fresh platform to work with. Possibly they can run both HS1 and HS2 for a HS year, so we can all open beta bug test HS2.

I've been using my tablet and people just disappear, I don't think they're DCing, their portrait just vanished, happened to the whole lobby the looks of it and apparently came first after 3 rounds.
I've had a few crashes, the game just closes.
It's really fun, the communication on tablet is super difficult to use, it should be tap and hold, but it's tap once and hold while tapping with another finger.
Most people I can see trying to respond but nothing really happening, I don't think many understand how to communicate.
I've been griefed twice, which isn't too bad tbh.

Blizzard dont care about fixing the game. As long as they get their money, fixing things is not on their list. They would rather release another broken game, because people will buy it
We speak through our wallets. We stop paying - they start fixing. Simple as that.

Hearthstone was never made to have more than just Naxx mechanics. They're probably never going to dedicate time to fix bugged mechanics at this point.
I solo queued on mobile the other day and found that I couldn't highlight cards for my teammate or respond to his highlights so often they'd highlight something and I couldn't respond so they'd skip over it.
had a game the other night where a whole team left the lobby on turn 1. They showed as being dead, but you'd go into combat with them and they were still at full health. the match could never be completed and kept bringing me back into the game even after conceding and/or closing the game
26:23 This one is actually not a bug. Bristleback only played two blood gems on the other quilboar which then played two blood gems by it's own effect to random friendly minions (which in this case happened to be the two mechs).
But despite this there of course are a lot of actual bugs in the game that are very annoying.
Stop paying for the pass until they fix bugs! We keep paying for seasons when they still have bugs from last season. I haven't bought the pass for 4 seasons

🤣 just experienced a bug where the Gorrila hero gives everyone one banana and two for himself, ME AND MY TEAMMATE GETTING 2, WHILE EVERYONE ELSE STILL GETTING ONE 😂
This has to be hardware specific. I was at 100% battlegrounds completion before duos and haven't crashed a single time. I have played around 30hours of duos now and also haven't crashed a single time. I have had the game freeze with hopper mega stats, with hundreds of magnetic card attached etc. But freezes almost always fix themselves. Card flips, client desync, turn lost, etc. Those bugs I know.
I ran into a bug with the new 6 drop undead Uninvited Passenger. It is supposed to give your minions a deathrattle to summon a 3/2. Problem is it just overwrote my reborn effects. I had space on board for it to summon both but the Reborn effect didnt trigger.
Blizzard used to be the hallmark of quality. Nowadays it's a joke. It's EA with a different skin.
My issues with the Hearthstone game client:
- Blue screens of death on older PCs
- crashes to desktop with no message whatsoever at least once a night
- random disconnects when obviously everything was fine a second ago
- weird synchronization issues with friends even on turn one, where one friend is always a few seconds faster
- the whole start/end of combat animation sequences and the desyncing of time
- also: everyone having to wait until the timer is done to start the turn, when it's obvious that everyone has been ready for 30 seconds already - we need to have a "Done!" button!
And that's just the game client. There are in-game issues as well.
I dont know if it was a mistake but i qued when I got off work in the morning and it was with a team where you click the portal to look at their hand. I kept loosing connection. I lost the first one joined the next and by turn like 3 lost again so i just got off and went to bed. After that i never played another duo its all been solo.. I hope when it does go live you can pick either duo or just play regular BG mode. ( eight people all free for all).
the amount of times my game has crashed, frozen, dc'd etc in BG duos is INSANE. I usually don't get any in the solo's BGs but in Duos... it's legitimately almost like every other game.
On mobile, these bugs are x2. It's a nightmare to play duos on the phone. The ping system does not work at all. And I like to play a game on my work break. It just makes me so frustrated

I had some "start of combat" spells/abilities, just not trigger on my end. Blizzard can honestly shove one up a place where the sun doesn't shine for releasing content that is bug ridden or content barren

Oh, also for mobile, is there any way to give the duos commands? I just tap on the cards and nothing happens lol
I have found if you tap the card with 2 fingers, it will bring up the command prompt. It's very finicky when trying to tap on a card in your partners hand however.
Most of (not all) my crash/freeze issues got fixed by turning off vsync. But yeah there are new duos bugs too now.
It feels like these sync problems are inherent to the game engine
There should be a skip button for combat animations. Some comp require times and skipping helps

i've only played 3 duo games with randoms cuz i have no friends who play hearthstone, i was able to get second place, last place and first place in that order
Dragons doesnt KEEP THEIR HEALTH BUFF WITH THE LADY IF IT HAPPENS IN COMBATT. Or maybe ITS THE BLUE TIER 1 DRAGON. RESET ITS STATS THAT IT DOESNT KEEP THE HEALTH BUFF
The bugs doesn't start and my games doesnt start to crash, ONLY WHEN IM WINNING SO MUCH, always end 1st-2nd for a couple games, THE. THE CRASHES AND BUGS STARTS TO GO OFF..... WHEN WILL PEOPLE REALIZE HEARTHSTONE ALGORITHM TO MAKE YOU LOSE IS GOING OFF AND IT IS USING UP SO MUCH MEMORY THAT THE GAME KEEPS CRASHING.

I have been surprisingly impressed by my random duos as well. Also surprised at how fun it really is. I have only made it to about 3500 rating so far though, we'll see how it gets when I near my solos rating of 7500ish.
Ya I've had people support me and I've supported others myself. I've had like 1 out of my 10 or so games where the partner wasn't really checking my board and trying too much. He passed me likenone thing eventually as I was supporting them and it was just the tier 6 tavern spellcraft Naga which didn't go with my board it was like just a pity like maybe this helps lol. Most my other partners were able to like help me build a board or at least pass me scam cards so my board can hold up and I always do that too.
Let's be honest on one thing though, playing duos solo is an advanced form of masochism XD
I find that battlegrounds took away from the competitive ranked mode and tournament play. I think it took away from the game as a whole, even with people enjoying it.
I don't think they'll ever fix Hearthstone, it's been the same shitty client for 20 years and they make enough money to rebuild it from scratch every year but they never will.
Won so much, a new bug emerged, WHERE THE IMAGES AND TEXT WERE ALL BLACK 😂. Game cant handle the fact that i keep winning no matter, even if they queue me with idiots.

I respect you for making the video but good lord Kripp, you're terrible at giving negative feedback. You've made a titled about the bugs as it's frankly embarrassing they released it like this and you spend the first few minutes complimenting the game not mentioning the bugs. Mate, that's not how you build public attention to how serious the issue is. It should have never been released in this condition and deserves genuine, whole hearted criticism not some soft delicate approach. Call it for what it is, disgusting.
