Why don't these include the tempo? It's easy to add the BPM in the title, and it makes it so people will be more likely to click. Also, ads in the middle of backing tracks really messes up jams. That's really not good at all.
@@SynthApprentice Tempo is relative, you can slow it down with the playback speed. Ads do hamper the track but move the slider to the end, hit play, then replay the video. That should help. Happy jamming!!
Love this track, I'm 62 and learning lots from your work. Would love to buy this track put it on my phone and jam with it, is that possible. Thanks for your music God Bless.

I remember 4 years ago when your channel maybe only had 20K subs. You have to be one of the hardest working composers on youtube... to put out what is basically a WHOLE NEW SONG every single day. It's just awesome. I've relied so much on your work to improve my lead playing, my feel, my improvisation, my dynamics. Thank you dude! So much gratitude for what you do!
Yes. This. Definitely the most expressive, well recorded, backing tracks I've found. I'm a freaking guitar hero when I'm playing to these and that just makes me play more, which is never a bad thing.
@@potatomatonionwaaa4972 it helps you transition to the next chord or next scale or arpeggio, you gotta be already somewhat skilled in improvisation to make use of it
THE best backing track I’ve ran across. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I just recently had to have our dog put to sleep. We had her for 17 years. My wife wanted the little yorkie. I didn’t. I had always grown up with big dogs. My wife got the dog and the little dog - Harley - was instantly in my heart. Harley was such a fantastic companion for my wife and I over the years. She had kidney disease. And a week ago this past Wednesday l, we knew it was her time. What a hard thing. It may sound silly to some, but that little dog had filled such a space in our hearts. Total unconditional love. That’s what she was. Anyway. I’ve been collecting different backing tracks over the past few months. I found this one tonight. And something just poured out of me just now as I played through it. A real release of missing our dog. Music is such a blessing. Thank you again. Here’s what I did. ua-cam.com/video/wsH0VWsTnm8/v-deo.html
I play acoustic professionally, but just got a ES 335 copy from a friend, so I'm back to " re-learning" the E. guitar. I have a bunch of backing tracks that I've been shed'n over..but this one..man ! You have nailed one of the nicest sounds I've heard in a track on that Tele. I can't stop working over it ..Thank you !!!
This song and these sounds are so freaking gooood. It s turning on, and on, and on, and on and again for hours now You're gifted. May God bless you and give you all of what you want, need, and deserve. May you be blessed, covered by money, health, love peace and abundance Peace
Thanks, I finally decide I am not and never will be the greatest ever. Much to my sha grin seems it was a musical block anyway. You folks are great and thank you again.
Just a quick note to let whoever is doing all of this know that it is killer. Just great stuff for us 'jammers' out there. I will spread the word! Thank you so much for your efforts!
Y'ALL, My McKenzieleigh LOVED this. She was singing and dancing non stop to this at her Pageant! A tune all of the people of this Alabama Pageant loved. ASTONISHED! It really touched my Heart. Me? Big Moma on kids laptop listening to this over and over? You got the wrong gall haha. Jokes! This was AMAZING. It really made me think about my history of sweet home Alabama. This is Cultural Music y'all! McKenzieleigh won in the end, partly because of this song. Wont lie this aint the best shes done #LOL. Took her out to Chuck E Cheese after. Music was stuck in my head the whole time. The chords bring out LIFE in me. I aint always been the happiest gall ill tell you that. The #SOLO part was replaying, making me the happiest gall in this small lil world! Might even use this for my wedding day. You cant go wrong with this. Its almost like this opened a whole new chapter in my life. The guitar has a sort of woody tone to it. I can ASSURE you this WILL be played again in the Jhonsons household. Granny even loved this and shes a grumpy gall, she has been for the last 89 years. Brought a tear to my eye. This is just the best in all ways. Ethereal. Much love. ❤️
A little bit more than one year into playing guitar, and I thought I'd start experimenting with improvisation. I usually just go up and down the pentatonic, sometimes randomly switching to the major scale, without the slightest idea of what I'm actually doing, but this track makes anything sound awesome! And that solo at the end sounds and feels frickin' amazing (while it also humiliates my 9 previous minutes of playing😅) But it's good to hear what a pro can do with the same track, it helps to keep me motivated. Thank you so much EJT!
If you're a beginner keep playing along to these backing tracks as you continue learning your instrument! I have made progress in the 4 months I've been following along with these uploads. Theory and new chords can be intimidating but do whatever you can and keep learning
I normally play stoner doom metal stuff and I didn't think I would have fun playing along to this song but I'm writing stuff in D major and I needed practice. I was having so much fun I was bursting into laughter, and I was playing and sounding great with my orange amp cranked with the gain maxed out. I think I need to start listening to bluegrass.
You're an artist and a scientist there, Tom. I sat here for 5 minutes trying to better word what I mean to say, but it's difficult finding the right way of putting it. Your tracks are so beautifully put together and so unique to the ear. They could all flow in one continuous album/story, yet they don't sound like anything I have heard elsewhere in music. Maybe some underlying familiarities to other musicians, but yet so far apart that it is purely your own sound. Every track could be a major hit. I would attend a concert of you just playing your heart out. That solo was honestly just perfect. The lick at 9:37. Powerful. Be safe all.
In that lick at 9:37 he is sliding perfect 4th intervals a full step apart in three places where all notes stay within the key of D. Listen for the top note of each double stop. Top notes are easier to hear. You can also see where he is on the fingerboard. I'll give you two clues. The last slide is an octave down from the first one. Guitars are tuned in perfect 4ths from string to string except for the G string relationship with the B-string. That interval is a major 3rd. He could have played the second pair of perfect 4th intervals on the G and B strings instead of where he played it. It would span the 9th through 12th frets. The shape of a perfect 4th between those strings is different; you can't play both notes of the double stop on the same fret. The notes have to be on adjacent frets.
Great chord voicing and embellishments and beautiful solo. The note choice, touch and tone not to mention the phrasing made it the perfect solo to capture what the chords were begging to say. Obviously, Because it is a jam track the solo had to wait a while, but in a 4 minute song with great vocals that is a beautiful tune that is so organic. You feel like it’s an old friend and people can say it’s diatonic and simple, but the way you dressed it up and the solo gave it so much more soul that most of what I hear on jam tracks. Really moving and great song. With a great singer it could be one of the great classic rock ballads . Southern rock, soul and blues all rolled into a perfect song you think you have heard but you have not. It’s always songs like these that have the most emotional content even though When people look for solar tracks are often looking for something to showcase their current level of ability and try things that challenge them technically rather than really strive to play a great solo which is so much more difficult. Anyt decent player can hear the solo Play it and then think That wasn’t that challenging. When you play the guitar the point is to get your shots to a level where they don’t limit you from communicating and then forget what you know and play a song that communicates with people on a deep level. Most people who think they are awesome cannot do that which makes them very often awesome despite whatever sweep picking, speed alternate picking and string skipping licks they can pull off. That sort of stuff is great and getting your jobs better but most the time when people use the techniques in a song it sounds like they’re trying to demonstrate skills rather than express them selves artistically. Music is a form of expression. No one wants to look at a painter paint something where he’s trying to use typical brush techniques for the sake of using them. They want to look at a piece that moves something deeper than them. Even if it’s somethingThat seems familiar, it usually just means it’s organic and all great music exists in nature in my opinion and good players become conduits for the music. Chops first songs don’t exist in nature and are the equivalent of cleaning products. They’ve got lots of funky ingredients but you don’t want to drink it. Keep up the great work
I listen to heaps of backing tracks but this just seems to have that sweet spot that is hard to explain , my ear knows it though. With the right lyrics there is a big hit awaiting
Great track what I get the most from it is to work on not over playing and focus on melody. It's a perfect track to work on crafting a subtle part of enhance the song
