That soup looks delicious. Don’t think I’d be leaving out the cayenne. I’d say for my taste anyway the cayenne would make it. Great review though Ian. Loved the smiley pumpkin crouton face. Very creative 😂xx

Oh Ian what are you doing to me, you know that I will buy this blender now with the discount. I love this soup. Do you think one of you would make a home made custard tart using nutmeg, my mam used to make them and they were amazing, mine dont seem for some reason to taste as good, maybe Mand has a secret her nana told her to add the rich flavour I remember as a kid thanks once again Maggie

As good as the blender is it's another big gadget in the kitchen.
A hand blender doesn't steel space.
Also there is not as much washing up.
A hand blender would have done the job in the same pan.
Each to their own though Ian.
It's a considerable size in your kitchen there.
The soup looks good though.
