Very very nice!!
I knew you’d make fun things from this box!
Beki! 4 pretty pair of earrings! Love your designs, and choice of colors! I love blue and green together! Thank you again for teaching us, for accepting your changes and not editing out so we can see to learn a long with you. Ttys, your friend in NJ.
I'm so glad you like these! And yes, I make mistakes too & hope everyone can see that it's perfectly fine to chuck an idea that doesn't work and start over.
Beautiful earrings! My box is still “in transit, arriving late.” 😩 Where do you buy your headpins? Have a happy day! Hello Ellen and Natalie!
The headpins I used in this tutorial I got from bead box bargains. They sometimes have really good deals on findings. I hope it gets here soon. Maybe Monday?
How long did it take you to get good at making loops? I struggle to make them .I'm a beginner, so I'm still getting used to making loop it is not easy to make the loop.
It did take a lot of practice. I used to make a pair of earrings every morning before starting my work day, for a year. I'd go slow and take my time and often I'd be making loops like this. The head pins and eye pins I was using had harder metal so my loops were wonky when I started using craft wire (because it's softer and takes less force to bend) but I kept at it and kept practicing.
This is good to know so I don't get frustrated, feel inept, and give up. Thank you. ❤
I’ve been making jewelry for about 8 years now, and I agree with Beki. It takes a lot of practice and a lot of learning about how different wires behave. It’s pretty frustrating at first. Don’t give up! Just keep at it. Pretty soon it will be less intimidating and get more enjoyable.
So fun to watch and I greatly appreciate when you made the heart earring and first attempt was not to your liking and with such grace you remade the wire loop/ wrap. As I am sure you are aware that people watching learn a great deal when the instructor shows how to fix something- then when it happens to us we can keep going and make adjustments- thanks for not editing it out. Have a good weekend 🌴🌸🎉
I always learn more when I fix a mistake!
