I've been doing surprisingly well with cats instead of rabbits. I win often, unless they can wipe me more than once of course, or slam down a Valgavoth on me. Thanks and Happy Holidays!
I've been following for a while and trying out some of the mono-black discard decks since i love discard strategies. I noticed that a couple of the decks you referenced were over 60 card lists. This one is a 66 card deck for instance. Is this normal for decklists? I was always under the assumption that anything over 60 isn't worth it due to hurting consistencies.
Hey so I feel like mono black discard attracts at times some newer players along with decks like mono white lifegain. With that said I didn’t catch the 66 card count and you are correct 60 cards is ideal. The 22 lands would be even more an issue with 66 cards. I’ll find another 60 card list when I get a chance and add it to the video description.
I really like painful quandary as a top end and have a deck I'm wanting to test that adds white for starfall invocation and keep around a hostile negotiator if I need to board wipe
Here is a 60 card variant About Name Mono-Black Discard Deck 20 Swamp 2 Cut Down 2 Disfigure 3 Go for the Throat 4 Liliana of the Veil 2 Sheoldred, the Apocalypse 2 Gix's Command 2 Mishra's Foundry 4 Hopeless Nightmare 2 Virtue of Persistence 2 Aclazotz, Deepest Betrayal 4 Deep-Cavern Bat 3 Preacher of the Schism 4 Bandit's Talent 2 Ruthless Negotiation 2 Fountainport
Dimir mid I feel is much better in Bo3. Dimir is an incredibly flexible deck and can pivot to adapt to any matchup but midrange typically struggles in Bo1 with wrong half problem. You’ll have games your removal lines up with red but other games vs say control/mono white where you have a bunch of cut downs and no targets or playing against a reanimator pile that gets shut down easily with ghost vacuum
I got a really solid jund brew that I think can be really competitive. I was wondering if I can give you the list somehow and hear some feed back or tweaks you would make?

The best video in the week other time 🎉🎉🎉 happy holidays 🎄
I've only ran into that Orzhov deck once. But I got to mythic on Golgari ramp and it gave me a hard time.

Feel free to do an arena export and paste the list here. UA-cam will block external links unfortunately

Thanks! I didn't know that was possible. Just threw it together this morning. Definitely needs some tweaking but I think it starting to look solid. I wanted it to bring the stickyness and kill spells of Golgari with the reach and pressure of red. Thought if you can get a Nissa and forge on the board the pressure can mount quickly.
