I´m sitting here, with tears in my eyes, watching you reacting very emotionally to this stunningly beautiful piece of piano music by our Ren. Just think about that for a moment: NO words this time, and we all know how immensely good Ren is with words, lyrics. Just a hauntingly beautiful melody played by him. And yes, knowing the background about his friend, this shows how *good* Ren is on a piano telling a story. Just breath taking. I would LOVE to see Ren watching you, and what his music does to an empathetic human being.
Oh, friend, I hope you're being gentle with yourself. You said it so perfectly, no words necessary when you can speak volumes with an instrumental, alone. And this "says" so much more than many popular artists could ever put into a discography full of words. He amazes me.💕
Glad to see you back on screen. What a beautiful track to have as your welcome back it is just so gorgeous the way it soars and moves in the space, and the way the video is shot with the sun rays glistening around Ren’s head. Such a fitting tribute to his friend. May he rest in peace. 🙏📿

So glad to have you here, friend! I agree, this cut my soul right to the core, and ai can’t imagine how much more it affected him while playing. Don’t think I could’ve made it through if it were me. Currently, he’s the singer for the band twenty one pilots (they have some amazing music by the way, worth checking out as well) but I would like to bring attention to his old album before the times of twenty one pilots: No Phun Intended (pronounced No Fun Intended, I think). The songs aren’t even technically officially released, as he simply recorded the music on a [insert whatever he recorded them on since I’m blanking on what it’s called] and gave it to some people who then posted it on UA-cam. It’s a… lower quality album in general, with some songs sounding as though they were recorded in a crowded room, but I think that adds to the authenticity to it. Just a quick warning for some of the songs (especially Save), they have some screaming in them. It does add to the heartbreakingness of it though. For context, Tyler wrote the songs at 17 (I think, I know he was a teenager) and he was incredibly depressed. He’s a Christian, but as you listen to the songs you can feel how much he was struggling with his faith. Songs like Blasphemy make this very clear. He also has songs like TB Saga (Taco Bell Saga) that allow people to see his sillier side. There are also a lot of songs on the album, my favorites being Just Like Yesterday and Drown. If you don’t wanna react to it, that’s ok. I won’t be angry, I promise 😂 It is a heavier album so perhaps if you do react, make sure to do it on days you’re sure you can handle it. Especially for songs like Save or Taken By Sleep. One last thing: Save has also been remastered so there’s two versions of it, but I can’t tell you which one is which since they are all just called “Save” 😅
