Funny I have been feeding the sparrows on my street for yrs now and they've gotten used to me feeding them that on days where I don't get around to feeding them they'll line up on my handrail of my porch waiting to get their meal.
Yep. Birds and squirrels do that. I love birdwatching and feeding them. Everytime, I open my backyard door, first thing in the morning; I see all the sparrows, fly into a tree in my yard. They know I will be feeding them. And my squirrels😆 🐿️🐿️🐿️They literally, scratch my door, to get my attention to open it, or they go up on my kitchen window, peeping inside the window looking for me; it's so funny seeing them do that. They're pretty comfortable; they take everything from my hands and even will come in the house. And they're not afraid of my Yorkie that chases them all the time. 😆 I just love all my animals. ❤️❤️❤️

Actually, I feed some Australian Magpies at my house. I'll share some stories of them. -When I don't feed them they sometimes peck on the glass which is annoying. It always get me scared. -When Magpies are younger they are ALWAYS begging for food. They make a noise which can be heard 24/7. I've seen the mother actually peck at her kids to be shut up. It's low-key very funny. - I've noticed the Magpies leaders have to eat first. The younger ones eat second. - it's easy to tell which Magpies they are since they have unique personalities and demeanor.
I was walking my pet hog and found an orphaned frog. I raised that frog along side with my hog and they were the best of friends but I never submitted my story to TheDodo. Frogs and hogs: The ultimate combination.
I'm in the UK and I have a pet Magpie too. My dog found him 4.5 years ago so I hand reared him. He now lives with me and is very good at talking. He's quite a character and very clever, I can only trick him once. Tips for this lady, teach the Magpie to drink from a rabbit bottle, they learn it quickly and keeps the water fresher and the enclosure dryer. Use a high sided sand bath for a rat or chinchilla, fill it with an inch of water for daily baths, less splashing on your floor.
Magpies are very smart birds. I fed one, she knew how to open the cage herself and responded to my whistle. I haven't had time to teach her but who knows what they are all capable of learning 🙂
@@QueenMuser Yes, I heard about it and saw some recordings. I didn't learn mine, but if I feed him, I'll try to teach him a word. They are very smart birds.

You my Dear, are the Dearest, sweetest, most loving human I've come across in years. My Mamma,(now with our most precious Lord)enjoyed wild creatures, both big,& small too.
