Mercury steam's work on these two games was great. The second part has been victim of internal problems and never been completed as programmers wanted, you see it especially from a certainly point of the game. But for sure Lords of Shadow imho gave the modern point of view Konami originally wanted for her historical brand. The game mechanichs are not innovative but very accurate and the atmosphere is like i imagined when as a kid played the original Castlevania and dreaming about it in a possible live action. I hope someone remembers of Mercury Steam and these good games.
I don't care what other Castlevania fans other then myself say. This was indeed a fine remake of the entire Castlevania series and I've been playing since Super Castlevania IV. When I heard this remix of the famous Waterfall theme I was awestruck beyond expression and words failed me, for all I could do is remain silent and enjoy this majestical masterpiece!
It is not a remake, it is a reboot. For it to be a remake, it would have to be based on a specific title... which was not the case. I didn't like the game because I already didn't like God of War (even less the games inspired by it), but the musics of this game are awesome. However, I found in the Dark Souls series what I didn't find in Lords of Shadow.
I liked everything about it besides the combat and some other gameplay it was trying really hard to be God of War I think other than that it was a great retelling
I never knew the main game fans did not like this. I have played every single CV since NES and I thought this game’s take was amazing. Could not wait for the sequel which I beat and also played Mirror’s of Fate. I always felt this series lacked a little bit of of something. The ambiance, music, world design was so amazing! Mirror also imo had one of the best stories in the series. But one thing I felt this game lacked was the combat. It was a generic version of the God of War games, and I did not feel that powerful for some reason as well. If the combat and system had been designed bu let’s say, Platinum games or something (without the craziness for Bayonetta, since this is a CV game I would have liked a bit more “realism”), this game would have been perfect for me. Hell, I liked the series alot enough I played LoS 2 without any complaints. I never understood the 5-6 scores it received from ign and others. Would love to see a LoS 3 or at least something from the main series
Kind of felt pride listening to this as an homage to SC4 seeing that that is one of my all time favourite games and gives me such nostalgia. I loved LOS. A wonderful edition to Castlevania and very under appreciated
I come here often to listen it... Imagining catching fairies, traversing though the forest, finding meaning of the story... And this music accompanied me all way long
I remember the moment when I jumped over all the (goddamn) gears at the tower... but there were moments where I didnt want to jump.. just wanted listening to that music and fall into positive melancholy. I was never catched so deep in moments of playing like here, anyway in the whole game series (mirror of fate, lords of shadow 1+2) just flashed me. Its so goddamn underrated.. Thank you very much for bringing this track online!!!
Thank you for this, I can’t help but have a moment of nostalgia every time I hear it. Feelings of joy, sadness and beautiful memories of sleeping to this on repeat..

Damn, music never gets old
I haven't played this game in almost 7 years but I keep coming back to this one song, it never left my head. Thanks for the upload.
A real masterpiece!

The whole first game is heavily inspired by SC4. The lycan and vampire portions especially.

Para mi los 2 fueron buenos juegos aunque admito que el 1 fue una obra maestra
