Would like to see Max get this one ! But I think Volk has his number. Then again, I did think Max won the 2nd fight by one round, but I don't see him hurting Volk or finishing him
I agree. I just had a conversation about Max. Some people think he isn't classy because he refused to believe he lost that second fight. Someone who actually faught sometimes you need to believe that to move forward and avenge a loss. It is a confidence thing. The fact people didn't respect Volk and blamed it on Max's comments isn't his fault. Look to how social media didn't give Volk a ton of praise for that one. Regardless I hope he wins the rubber match and do respect Volk a ton. He has cleaned out the division basically.

really enjoyed watching this. whenever i use aldo, i close off the distance and reach of max. makes it harder for to throw his combos. would love to play against you one day, middle of the circle, just swaying and anticipating each other next moves.

In terms of the Second Fight, I personally thought Max did enough to win Rounds 1-3, it was a lot like Valentina and Santos to me (scoring wise and public opinion,) I thought Volk took the last 2, where it should’ve been a clear 48-47 UD for Holloway. From my recollection, didn’t he wobble and drop Volk in the first 3 rounds?
Just goes to show how you can’t leave it to The Judges. I’m pulling for Holloway big time, but if he can’t beat Volk this time around, he seriously has to go to LW or maybe retire, because who or what would be left for him at that point??

Well you were absolutely correct. Volk did make the more improvements. It’s crazy Volk looked so fast compared to max. Max is so fast but he didn’t look as fast and sharp as usual. Volk looked faster. After the Korean Zombie fight I knew Volk made big improvements but I didn’t think he would dominate max the way he did. Surprised me definitely

I genuinely think it is a misconception that Volk had improved more since their last fight. I think the reality is that Max has fought tougher opponents than Volk since their last fight

I think Volks got this in the bag again. Volk isn’t ignorant and doesn’t let his ego run his game. He won’t play to Max’s advantage and try to stand in his face and box with him which is a big mistake most of Max’s opponents make.
also volk has improved so much in that fight against the zombie i was mind blown with his speed

I’m a bit like your second opponent 😅 I love working the body. It stems from my fight night champion days where I always had 100% stamina and drained my opponents and always got KO’s in last 3 rounds having lost every other round on points 😂

Martial, if you want to work an opponents legs throw them at the end of your boxing combos or in the middle of them. They’re wide open and that’s the best place to throw them

i think max would dominate tkz similar to how volk did, but i think max is slowly but surely declining and alex is a fucking great striker...you just watch max vs other guys and he has no issue pushing the pace and keeping the volume up, but volk consistently keeps max's volume down. if max's chin is still max's chin then maybe he can tough it out, but it's just hard for me to see him winning this fight unfortunately (i'm a max fan)
This is an interesting take and I can see it like I have problems with that Rodgriuez fight man like Max shouldn’t be getting into 3-2 wars against guys coming off 2 year lay-offs. I also don’t see Max winning i think Volk has more ways and he simply has the edge
@@kyddopeness i think yair is really good and we have to remember that every athlete isn't performing at their best at every event, so i don't wanna take too much away from max from that performance (still outstruck yair, landed takedowns, still showed his chin, etc.)
that said, i just think stylistically it's a tough fight for max and volk (and his team) are really freaking good at adapting and changing tactics during the fight
If you're playing Max and you're not spamming spinning elbows and spinning body kicks you're not really playing Max
