i totally disagree that eastern Coyotes have a better diet. Penn. and NY don't have the numbers of gophers, ground nesting birds, or cattle ranches that we have in Montana.
I live in Oregon also. It is Legal to use electronic call as well as decoy on coyote. And on private ground you can spotlight them. I verified the info from ODFW Springfield.
What gun and load was Abner using on these hunts? no blood on these Yotes in the scenes, must be a good caliber to shoot long distances with minimal damage.
