      i mained the old g502 bcs it was cheap and seemed quite good for games like pubg and so on. I just recently swapped to valorant as my main game and it sucks hard there. So i swapped to the Viper v2 Pro two days ago and got so much better in valo. I think its a decent mouse for non fps games but the viper is so much better in fps.

      i did use g502 hero back then, i do use g502 x wireless and i've got plenty of lightweight mices in my disposal to compare. i will break down people's complains: it's not about the weight itself...i mean 100 grams isnt something your palm cant hold- it's about inertia. you need to put a lot more effort into control of heavier mice in rapid scenarios, because its not as snappy as lightweight mice and your wrist eventually gets tired.

    Hello fellow UA-cam roamers, and mouse fanatics alike,
    I have owned MANY, MANY mice in my years for almost daily gaming, and daily general usage. I love mice, keyboards, and controllers. Heck, I build custom personal controllers (And the occasional keyboard) for fun. I also mess with 3D printing, and weight has never been a deciding factor for me. I just upgraded from my Redragon M810 pro (temporary usage), to the wired version of this. I love the new mouse. A quick mention, this mouse feels like a freaking feather compared to my old mouse. Literally threw off my aim for a bit. I have really big hands, so it works perfectly for me. It is probably one of my favorite mice that I have used. I would recommend upgrading the skates though. 8.5/10 for FPS games IMO.
    ALSO how in the world does the "heavy" 100-gram mouse start to make him say to not get it?!?!?! That is just... odd... He said that he started "Feeling the weight," ignore the weight part, ignore about 90% of the stuff he said about this mouse (Literally complaining about the small price difference between the non-RGB and RGB versions). Compliments to @Synophic for commenting about the 100-gram mouse thing being too much lol. A good, or even average gamer, would not need an extremely lightweight mouse. Most people who complain about their mouse being "too heavy" are (mostly) bad gamers with low to no skill in gaming and aiming, and blame it on the weight of their mouse. Does Aspas(One of the best Valorant players) use an ultra-light mouse? No. He literally uses a Logitech G403 Hero, which has the same weight as this mouse. The weight of this mouse is no issue. (/s on this sentence >>>) You don't have to worry about injuring your wrist from the sheer weight of the mouse lol. In the end, I would just recommend going to your local store that sells mice, and trying out demo units until you find the right mouse for YOU, and don't think about other people's subjective views and preferences that conflict with the mouse YOU want to buy (Obv look up if there are any common issues with the mouse). That is how I decided to buy this mouse featured in this video.
    P.S. I am taking philosophy atm, and I end up typing a lot on topics that I want to, because of the style of the class. Additionally, the way I have to write for the class is in a very informative but argumentative way. On top of that, I am also currently sleep-deprived and stressed about something extremely important tomorrow that I am just not ready for lol. So if anything I said offended you, please don't take it to heart.
    Thank you for reading, and have a great day,
    -Wild

    Been using the original G502 Proteus (7 years an counting) and a G502 Hero (2 years) on a daily bases for some productivity use, and mainly FPS gaming, as well as other genres. Tried other types of mouses throughout the years, but nothing even comes close to the G502 in terms of.....everything. Weight is subjective, and personally I don't like it too light. Never have I thought the mouse to be heavy no matter how long I use it. All the buttons can be remapped, and can change button profiles on the fly. The only thing that is a bit disappointing to me, is they got rid of the LED profile indicator on the G502X. But that is not stopping me from buying one this Christmas.

      It's not a one size fits all formula with mice, if you have tried lighter mice for some time and feel like the higher weight helps you, stick with it. I actually find the thumb stabilization shelf much better for playing FPS games, as well as I have your mouse because if I use a lighter mouse, I overshoot way too easily.
      But when people think of FPS I think of games like fortnite and tarkov and pubg which requires a lot of flick shots, which is not what I need, play more casual games. After my g502 had the dreaded sensor failure, with double-clicking, I'm really hoping that they fix that with the X series.

    In my opinion It is so hard to determine which mouse is good over the other because it depends on alot of factors such as aiming method, grip type and even the game itself so it's bit underwhelming. That been said, in my experience i mainly play warzone and i used to play with a viper mini that weights 63 grams which was excellent at first glance, however since the recent update time to kill has become really long in regard of other fps games such as valorant, so you need to land a lot of shots to actually get a kill.
    the viper mini caused me to lose alot of my shots beacuse of recoil especially at longer ranges, i felt like the light weight of the viper affected my consistency.
    I recently bought the g 502 x and it worked great it is so much easier to control recoil with this mouse.

    • @UpgradeLemonade
      @UpgradeLemonade  11 місяців тому +1

      Hey that's totally fair, my opinions are just that , opinions 😅 not an ultimate truth. More guidance for enthusiasts in our space. The g502x is a great mouse with added features beyond only fps gaming but it's just not a top recommend for fps gamers. It can def be used on them if you find it comfortable. The most important factor in gaming mice is the shape comfortable to you and is the weight helping or hindering you. Enjoy your mouse tho 🫶

    I've used the g502 mouse for about 13 years and counting (I'm including the logitech g500 in this since it was the predecessor to the 502 in terms of design and shape). I'm much older now (33) and while my fps skills are not what they used to be (GE in CSGO long ago, current platinum in Valorant, getting older sucks) I have found the shape of the 502 to be irreplaceable personally. I have tried other mice from other brands as well notably razer, roccat, and other logitech mice but the shape of the 502 is what fits best in my hand, though I reckon my case is a bit more extreme with a decade+ muscle memory built on the 502 (and I even use fingertip grip with big hands!). I guess it's a matter of perspective in the end haha.

    • @UpgradeLemonade
      @UpgradeLemonade  11 місяців тому +1

      Ya definitely! I mean my audience is the more enthusiast crowd or aimers who are grinding scores. It's a fantastic mouse tho just not something that I say "helps" push the boundaries of aim or competition. That's why we see a trend of lower weight mice with minimal feature sets. But the g502x does a lot of good in general

    Pro tip: never review bricks, especially not from Logitech. Sasquatch fanboys will throw a dislike in a clueless rage, even if you try to be diplomatic, highlighting some positive aspects of the stuff instead of just straight up shitting on it.

    I've been playing fps games for 30 years and hands down this is the WORST mouse for fps games. After 2 months of use this mouse has started causing stuttering while playing. And yes it is the mouse, my rig is a beast, used the razor adder v2 no problems, plugged this back in stutter to the max. Calibrated it to my surface no difference absolute rubbish. Razor was on sale for £37 the logitech was around £85.... £85 I'll never see again. Worst mouse ever.

      Ya you shouldn't experience something like that on such an expensive mouse ... Especially unfortunate happens after your return window. Sorry brother

      @UpgradeLemonade yea true, I'm not too bothered about the money I'm just glad I found out the issue because I play competitively on a few fps games and it's cost me a week of stress trouble shooting everything to find it's the mouse, stress tested my entire rig cpu, gpu, motherboard etc. Reinstalled win 11 twice. Ran driver updates on every component literally for nothing 😆 but hey live and learn.

      @@mattg768 it's not the mouse, you just got the faulty one, shit happens sometimes and I heard so many stories about how other people got faulty razor v2. so, nothing is ideal, if your unit is faulty it doesn't mean it is the usual case with the whole product line. mine works perfectly fine and I prefer it over my GXP Superlight.

    It’s crazy the amount of “my opinion is a fact” in the comment section. This mouse is not the g pro superlight nor is it advertised as a lightweight gaming mouse. By all means say what you want but most of you just sound dumb and entitled 😂

      Honestly 😂 It's pretty simple like I said , it's a good mouse it can be used for fps but I think it's a better multipurpose tool than something I'd reach for FPS gaming. It can be used in fps games it's just not as optimal as others . People tilted I didn't rub their mouse with Vaseline 🤷‍♂️

    Nope logitech is no More Good. Razer comes Crazy the Last years. Basilisk v3 is love or the deathadder v3

      @UpgradeLemonade  Рік тому +3

      Yup 100% basilisk and deathadder are just arguably better. That said Logi has a nice look but that's it. If Logi could make this around 70grams it'd be such an amazing product
