BMX RACING OVER 40: I Tried To Qualify For The 2024 BMX Worlds

I finally got to compete in my first BMX world championship qualifier ever! The BMX worlds will be in the states on the east coast this year so it's the perfect time for me to try to qualify for them. One of the qualifiers were held during the Blue Ridge Nationals in Lexington VA. So I went down to see if I could make it in. Of course I had to film some behind the scenes from the event. It was great catching up with old friends and making new ones. It felt like a big family reunion. It also felt good to be back at the races capturing the vibes. Unfortunately I didn't qualify but I did make it into my quarter finals.

Im 47 and with your inspiration have started riding again. Awesome video! I haven't been to a national since 1993, very cool to see the whole thing as opposed to just the usa bmx streams that just have the races only. There’s definitely a difference using clips but you have to know how to use them and probably pull with them other wise ur not really getting anything from it.
