Is that a fire escape on the side of the operator cab? If there’s one on the main deck there’s a need for an alternative working at such a height. There’s certainly a good number of extinguishers on the back deck.
I did not expect the cab to look like that. So clean, up to date, and well kept... The outside is beat to hell! I hope they maintain it well - I'm sure they do as there are a lot of older machines running around. Anyway, wouldn't a hot water pressure washer clean that boom up in an hour or two??
@@warthog948it’ll cover up any hydraulic leaks, lose time in productivity taking out of service to trace down the leak. Regular machine no biggie, at a mine each hour is factored in $10’s of thousands of dollars. Or maybe they’ve got down time factored in? Dunno. Interesting though.
@@Harikarikillboy-fs5vl honestly you notice the hydro leaks ovee grease. The oil is just so easy to stop. Give a leak 5 minutes anx the rest of the boom will look coated in mud too from dust clinging to the oil
