The Nintendo DS megaman ZX games were pretty great. They became megatroidvania style games and that concept worked very well. The first one is WAY better than the others, but all of them are still worth playing.
“Capcom went all out with its voice acting” I am 100% sure they did not. That would have required hiring a localizing team and not just trying to do it in house in Japan.
I love all the Bible refrence in X8. 38:00 Yammar Option is called that because that's what it is. An Option is a type of power up where drones orbit you and attack. I believe the first game to coin that term was Lifeforce.
Only thing I can think of, as to why Reploids need boobs, other than horniness at Capcom, is that humanity still exists during these timelines and humans designed male and female looking Reploids? And adding boobs helps to accentuate the femininity? 🤷♂️ I'm really grabbing at straws, but that's my working theory lol
I feel like the X series at least is so vague by X6 as to what extent humanity's even still around. Are boobs still around? Or are they a boob memory of a half forgotten boob dream?
@WesDoesGames I don't disagree with that, I know that by the end of the ZX series humanity is like 90% - 95% exterminated and *SPOILER* by Legends 2, the last human has died and humans became a hybrid of mechanical and biological species
You might find reading English while hearing Japanese jarring, but as someone who 99.9% of the time prefers watching anime subbed, I kind of wish "English text with Japanese audio" was _more_ common in games made by Japanese studios - at least as a selectable option. All things considered, if it was going to be as rushed and janky as the rest of the game, _not_ getting a dub for X6 might have been a blessing in disguise. Nothing makes me cringe harder than '70s-to-'90s-era-OVA-dub tier voice-acting.
At least on the PS2 version of X8 (not sure about the legacy collection), there was a glitch you could exploit to get tons of Force Metals super quickly.
@kingstarscream320 8 was vastly superior to 7 that said there are some big negatives: the new design sucks particularly x's neutral armor. It looks ridiculous. It's functionally fine tho. Also there are some really bad level design ideas here. Both ride chaser stages stunk altho gigantic volts was by far the worst. They got very spike happy in this game too. That said I adored how they reworked axl's gameplay to the point I actually wanted to use him. Once I got x in 7 I never used Axl again. 8 had a lot of good ideas but they had some pretty bad ideas as well and the clincher was the art design I really didn't like. I REALLY want them to go back to the older art design for x9
@Joseph928100 X's Neutral Armor is actually one of my favorite armor designs. Generally speaking I'm fine with the redesigns of X8. As far as the Ride chaser stages go, I think Yeti's is good, if a bit too long. Gigavolt's is awful, though.
I don’t mind the general art design of X8, but I agree that the Neutral Armor looks horrible. I usually use normal X for that reason. It looks a bit better in purple for the Ultimate Armor version. I noticed that X8 was particularly difficult. It’s one of the hardest in the series but not in a broken way like X6. I respected the challenge: at a time when gaming in general was becoming easier, Capcom decided to double down on difficulty.
As much as i love X8, the fact that new gen reploids can go maverick at will is so stupid, that's literally the plot of X4, old gen reploids could always do that
I know, right? kinda seems they just forgot the whole thing about reploids and why X even exists its because they have true free will?? But now they free will+? My head canon is that they can choose to be taken control of by the virus in sigma's DNA or something
That's different tho~ in X4 Repliforce was being LABELLED as Maverick for not cooperating with the Maverick Hunters in the opening sequence-- and because of that, they staged a coup d'etat. The whole time we played, the repliforce bosses we fought were all non-Maverick. If anything, the only real Mavericks in X4 was Magma Dragoon and Double which they didn't do so at will. Now of course everything was staged by Sigma but not by infection of the Maverick Virus but by deceiving Repliforce.
@daichi7887 Yeah, four, because Slash Beast commanded the Army, Storm Owl commanded the Air Force, Jet Stingray commanded the Navy, and Web Spider commanded their Commandos. I would say Frost Walrus if it weren't for the fact that he wasn't actually given an official role in Repliforce, and I would say Skiver and Mattrex if they appeared in X4, but they appear in X5.
I believe that Yamarro Option is a reference to Gradius as it had unique system of upgrades as you grab upgrade point and if you keep it, next upgrade point will move you to other item in the list - there were items like extra gun, shield, missile, bomb and one thing called "Option" which was a small drone that mirrored your movement and shot alongside your ship and you could have up to 4 of these "Option" drones. So having three drones appear and shoot alongside you makes total sense to me why they are called like that. Also I believe that Aile's mouth not moving in Command Mission was on purpose - most characters in CM cutscenes do have animated faces, but not him, which may have been designed on purpose. Also Megaman Zero can't be set in XXIInd Century since Megaman X happens in 21XX and that is XXIInd century, and in games they only say that Zero slept around hundred years after Elf Wars which happened after Megaman X series but it's never said when. So my assumption with Command Mission was always that Megaman X timeline takes from mid-late XXIInd century to early XXIIIrd (like year 2201 or something like that) and after that Elf Wars happen, 100 years passes and Megaman Zero series picks up in XXIVth century in year 23XX with ZX happening in roughly 25XX (since they say that centuries have passed since Zero series - that implies at least 200 years)
I love mega man, and x4 is the best of the x series. What a terrible decline to be followed by 4 average to fairly unenjoyable games that I really only ever played because of my love for the franchise.
X7 was the actual downfall of the X series. X1-X6 are actually fantastic. X8 is good. And X7 does have some good elements. I'm really sick of hearing people saying negative things about great games.
It is unlikely for me to watch over one hour long videos, who would say two, but now, after finishing the entire video, I must say, this was worth it. Great information, good editing and especially your voice is nice to the ears. I already bookmarked here the first video "Rise of the Megaman X" to watch next. I really wish you have time and will to talk about the whole Megaman Zero ZX series next!
Thanks friend, your kind words mean alot. I'll consider doing Zero series soon, but Legends is definitely coming first. I've never played Legends 2 and I want an excuse to do it. I remember liking the two ZX games but I can't remember the story at all
Ohhhhh, this is a compilation. I watched the opening 45 minutes and got a little ways into X6 when I started remembering specific jokes and comments and realized I had actually seen this video before. But I was super confused because I'd been watching for at least a half hour before I started feeling that way. Turns out I watched your X6 video before, hadn't seen the X5 one, and didn't know I was watching a compilation. Trying to figure this out was a trip.
@WesDoesGames I have been! I'm not sure I've seen the later videos either. I've basically Mega Man-saturated my algorithm by watching various MM videos over time, and whatever past MM content of yours I've seen were probably watched in isolation or out of series. I don't think I've seen X7 or X8. Also, I like the editing and interstitials you've added in, too. Very nice production quality.
I wish Megaman X just continued to show its world in the beautiful sprite work the series was famous for. The anime cut scenes and voice overs were completely unnecessary and likely cost quite a bit of cash that could have been used elsewhere for the project. Megaman has always done its best when it shows the major character moments through the gameplay and within the game engine. Like the feeling of powerlessness the first time Megaman fight's Venom, the death of Zero after the second Venom fight, or the feelings of lost when discovering another message from Light about how he wanted to make sure Megaman X was ready but will not be there to see it. Even other Megaman titles such as in Megaman 7's ending when Megaman stops a moment to seriously consider killing Willy outright. I still love Megaman X3's opening for the bait and switch moment and the working to set the scene so hard with the sprite work and music.
Man, Venom was my favorite Megaman character. Joking aside (I know it's an autocorrect issue), it's just a product of its time. At best people would see sprites as an old style game, at worst it would be ignored because 3D was the new hotness. I still remember seeing pictures of a magazine of the time where an article writer wrote about how bad looking and outdated Symphony of the Night was compared to CV64. That said, gotta appreciate Capcom at least trying to up the presentation. I certainly wouldn't call the anime or VO work 'completely unnecessary'. Even without them I couldn't think much on how the extra money could be used in a way that wouldn't fundamentally change or delay the game.
X1 was refreshing, new, exciting and fun. Great music, graphics and replay. X2 and X3 were just meh to me. X4 was awesome. Really groundbreaking use of PlayStation hardware. X5 was “good” but the game had way too many structural problems. X6 was an absolute mess. Based on X4 and X5, X6 should have been perfect. Instead it felt rushed, untested and half-baked. People hated X7 and I initially was afraid to play it because I felt it would be terrible. Surprise: I ended up playing through it 10 times. Had a lot of fun with it despite its problems. I had fun with X8 as well. I thought it would be harder than it ended up being. Played through it 15 times- unlocked everything. I don’t like replaying the X games due to the complicated item game. Without the items, you probably can’t finish the game or even progress. I prefer the classic Mega Man games. ZX and Advent were better than I thought they’d be. I really enjoyed both of them. Mega Man 11 is a great direction for the games and I enjoyed that as well.
X5 letting you lose Zero when you pick him to start the game, and then force you to play bad X was a horrible decisions. X6 I don't care what anyone got to say its trash, right behzad X7. 8X was just not what it should have been
1:23:15 The answer is obviously that they're made to resemble humans. Besides, it's extra thickness and padding. Plus the curves make it likely for things to deflect and offset blow. It's a defensive plus. More useful than pec armor. ;) But seriously....it's that simple. They meant to resemble humans. If they weren't, then why in the god damn hell do they have HUMAN faces in the first place. And from there the rest is simple and clean as the way you see it. C:
I figure a long video requires a long intro haha. Maybe I'll chop it up for shorter videos, but that'd be like chopping up the Mona Lisa because it won't fit through a doorframe, yknow
Here’s how I’d rank the later half X games X6 > X5 > X7 > X8 X5 and onward really started the over complication of the games by adding lots of unnecessary additions and gimmicks, I can understand if they were trying new things but I see now why Keiji Inafune wanted to end it at X5, only things we would’ve lost were things like >”I hid myself while repairing myself” >Axl, Lumine, Layer, Pallette, etc >All the soundtracks X6, X7 and X8 gave us I enjoyed the whole “Rise and Fall” retrospective, if you do the Zero series it might be a good idea to combine it with ZX too since that’s what Capcom did with that legacy collection.
Thanks, I'm glad you liked it. I can't remember if the ZX series actually had much to do with the Zero series? I thought Capcom just smooshed them together because ZX by itself wouldn't sell
I actually enjoy when they keep the original Japanese voice and give us subtitles (we aren't children, we learned to read already), or at least give us the option to switch back and forth between a localized dub and the text. Localized audio can be good (can also be atrocious, can also be an improvement if the original is jackshit), but it is at best a bonus, not essential unless it is a series aimed at the aforementioned small children who might not be able to read at a sufficient level to keep pace.
I would love to see Mega Man X go more hardcore and improve difficulty. Maybe go open world and still allow you to play as either X or Zero. The game can be like dark souls/elden ring difficulty. Idk but the franchise needs an overhaul I believe.
Wow?! This is a level of gaming regret I thought I'd never live to see. You actually would take Superman 64 over X7?! I never got to play it myself, and I'm so grateful I managed to avoid the experience. You truly took one for the team.

18:39 well thing about that is that battle network and starforcr could never be apart of the main timeline because in order for those two to happen the OG Dr Light had to change intrests from robotics to internet related research ehich would mean non of the robots were ever made
@@WesDoesGames more nerding out so be prepared something I didnt even realize tadashi hikari (yuichiro hikari's father and lan hikari's grandpa ) was the actual name for battle network Thomas Light while there is not explicit confirmation of a timeline split there are some huge bits of discrepancy 19xx Tadashi and Wily work on soul net then the two split off, BNWily doing robotics just like in classic while Tadashi focuses on internet related work. by 20xx in the battle network timeline the events of battle network happen with no mention of Thomas or Wily remember Wily's actions alone had a huge negative effect on robotics most likely being the main contributing factor for the robot expiration laws and the creator of roboenza which would have probably been well known to the whole world then there is megaman X and megaman Zero . with the X series that happens in 21xx which is only a century before the events of StarForce again they would have probably mentioned reploids and the sigma virus in star force(remember star force and battle network are worlds where people actively fight viruses daily to the point where its somewhat of a sport). then with the Zero series star force is right within the timeframe between that and the X series, aka the timeframe where the elf wars take place, the same war that killed over half of all humanity and 90 percent of reploids again not explicit evidence but there are things that dont add up when you think about the idea of battle network and starforce like how there is a zero virus navi in network transmission
That original Megaman X Collection was sappose to be alot more but from my understanding many updates/feature enhancements got cut do to the PSP remakes being greenlight in the background. Unfortunately i dont know if any source information is still around to verify that. But i remember following the updates back in the day, and then finding out they got scrapped for the psp remakes that as we known didnt get past the first game...
What!? I didn't know that 32:55. I had a really hard time beating that asshole and had no idea what was going on when I did my play through. I just thought it was some cheap shit. 😅
I've seen dozens of videos talking about and reviewing Megaman X series and it seems I always keep watching them. God... maybe I truly miss the series haha My ranking would be from worst to best:X7, X8, command mission, X2, X, X6, X4, X3, X5. I didn't have the chance to play X4 when it launched so playing as Zero wasn't a truly big deal for me when I actually played it. The only game I really didn't like in the series was X7. But bro, I think people often sleep on X6's soundtrack. I think you picked some weirds choices when talking about the X6's soundtracks but Gate's theme is a banger indeed. There's the all beloved Blaze heatnix song, Infinity Mijinion, 2nd Sigma, intro stage, rainy turtloid to name a few. And in X8 you didn't mention the elevator ost that is also a banger. I think that's all my takes on this video. Great job overal. I always love seeing people talking about the series
I did not know that the person responsible for those shitty boss name changes was the girl from the big comfy couch or Claire Redfield. I really hate people who do that, they think its neat or funny or cute but no, its not. Leave the names as intended
Disagree. I felt like their had their own individuality with those names instead of their name being a type of animal. Duff McWhalen (while still having an animal name to it) will always be iconic to me and to others.
nope that because og dr light in those games decided to focus on internet related stuff in the battle network/starforce universe unlike in the timeline of og megaman thru legends
X7 was my favorite X game as i was playing it. I found the game really fun after you unlock X, and while i hate that X is an unlockabke character in his own game, but it's hilarious that capcom thought that was a good idea
the only game i give a lot of flack is X5, despite that i still like it i'm a lot more critical with it than the others because it was intended to be the last game in the series
The drop in quality was noticeable for X5 and 6, even as I played them both multiple times over. It's OK to recognize that things were bad (or just not as good as what came before them) even if we still like them. Never played X7 because it looked dumb
Your intro is so similar to another channel I watch, Gaming Broductions. It's not a bad thing cos I enjoy both yours and theirs. Any chance they were nade by the same person/people? Or at least the music composed by the same person/people? Check out Gaming Broductions intro and I think you'll understand what I mean
Bombastic to me that X games werent meeting Capcoms expectations, slacked on the production post X4, then to create Legends which was their route into 3D but then later scrap Legends -_____- . Like really Capcom? Shouldve taken notes from Nintendo and trusted your franchises and continue quality treatment
X5 has its share of issues but it is still playable though... I can play X5 and have a great time.. X6,X7,and X8 I can do without those 3... it stops for me at X5
@ A year ago ? I guess the game experience really depends on what you do. Or maybe you where a new player ? I’ve always thought feh poorly catches up new players. Did you only play early story mode ? Because one of the jokes for other modes (like Aether raids or arena) a year ago (and before that) was that red doesn’t beat green all the time anymore. I actually stopped playing earlier this year because each skill was becoming too complex (many walls of texts and too many stat to calculate). I’m also talking as a f2p player so I also did not always have the new shiny units every time. From a whale’s perspective, it must be much easier. But with all the positioning mechanics, the movement assists and the thousands of skill, the game is complex if you ask me
Awesome compilation Love the adult swim caption callbacks Agree with all your rankings as well. Avoided mmx dive. Even more so glad i did after seeing your review. Also 2:00:35 dont threaten me with a good time
Bro i just watched the rise and fall of your megaman x videos will you also do one of Megaman and Megaman Battle Network and are you also a fan of kingdom hearts by any chance ^^
I love both. I'd like to do a kingdom hearts 1-3 video by the end of the next year. Battle network 2 I did a video on already if you want to check that one out
23:20 Wrong! Unless it was meant to be english voiced in english environment japanese game like MGS, RE, DMC; then it is really better to use japanese voice with english subtitle. Especially in the 90's where the quality of english dub was far worse than japanese.

1:03:01 what do you mean by this? Most of his unlocks are new moves, and there is no "and more" for his weapons, he only gets the 2
I'll always love the Mega Man Legends shop music
Apple Market was the place to be
51;18 its funny how this show how limited you can go with the MM X series without the "sigma virus" plot.
I liked X6 for it's difficulty. Xtreme difficulty is a nightmare without cheats.
Blade Armor is Samurai Theme
Shadow Armor is Ninja Theme
X5 was a good game fight me. But yeah 6 7 and 8 kinda stunk
I liked X5
Agreed on 5 but 8 was amazing. You should try it again.
Yeah, X4 was the end of a great run! 😢
56:40 you MUST tell me where you got this image from
Your mom's yearbook
As much as i love X8, the fact that new gen reploids can go maverick at will is so stupid, that's literally the plot of X4, old gen reploids could always do that
I know, right? kinda seems they just forgot the whole thing about reploids and why X even exists its because they have true free will?? But now they free will+?
My head canon is that they can choose to be taken control of by the virus in sigma's DNA or something
That's different tho~ in X4 Repliforce was being LABELLED as Maverick for not cooperating with the Maverick Hunters in the opening sequence--
and because of that, they staged a coup d'etat.
@daichi7887 Cyber Peacock and Split Mushroom weren't even members of Repliforce, they took orders from Sigma, just like Magma Dragoon.
@@BaxterAndLunala oh yeah I forgot them, you're right~ so that's atleast 4 reploids from X4
Feel free to keep watching anyways lol 😅. The X collection, Command Mission, and Legacy collection bits are new
@WesDoesGames I have been!
Even without them I couldn't think much on how the extra money could be used in a way that wouldn't fundamentally change or delay the game.
thank you very much, wes!
and a merry merry christmas!!
Merry Christmas to you too
30:05 the name is a pun from the word "prayer" to "player"
more like a mispelling
X series Ended except Megaman X Corrupted.
46:03 I couldnt get behind those arranged tracks either. I know some people love them though.
The jokes in this video are soooo good 🤌👌 This might be my new favorite channel lol
Thank you!
I feel bad for the newbies getting legacy collection 2
dont be. X5 was my first console mm X game and I love the series to this day.
How did you make this video it’s amazing
Thanks!
X5 letting you lose Zero when you pick him to start the game, and then force you to play bad X was a horrible decisions.
X6 I don't care what anyone got to say its trash, right behzad X7.
8X was just not what it should have been
I actually really liked Command Mission, the only thing I disliked is just that it was so short.
1:23:15 The answer is obviously that they're made to resemble humans. Besides, it's extra thickness and padding. Plus the curves make it likely for things to deflect and offset blow. It's a defensive plus. More useful than pec armor. ;)
But seriously....it's that simple. They meant to resemble humans. If they weren't, then why in the god damn hell do they have HUMAN faces in the first place. And from there the rest is simple and clean as the way you see it. C:
Does that mean X and Zero have robodongs
@@WesDoesGames Wouldn't that be funny considering how many times they've lost their legs.
3:19 😆😆😆😆 the return of the intro 😁😁😁😁
I figure a long video requires a long intro haha. Maybe I'll chop it up for shorter videos, but that'd be like chopping up the Mona Lisa because it won't fit through a doorframe, yknow
Here’s how I’d rank the later half X games
X6 > X5 > X7 > X8
X5 and onward really started the over complication of the games by adding lots of unnecessary additions and gimmicks, I can understand if they were trying new things but I see now why Keiji Inafune wanted to end it at X5, only things we would’ve lost were things like
>”I hid myself while repairing myself”
>Axl, Lumine, Layer, Pallette, etc
>All the soundtracks X6, X7 and X8 gave us
I enjoyed the whole “Rise and Fall” retrospective, if you do the Zero series it might be a good idea to combine it with ZX too since that’s what Capcom did with that legacy collection.
Thanks, I'm glad you liked it. I can't remember if the ZX series actually had much to do with the Zero series? I thought Capcom just smooshed them together because ZX by itself wouldn't sell
Would anyone really care if "I hid myself while I tried to repair myself" and "There is no one else is left to fight" didn't exist? No, not really.
Woof, X8 ranked lower than X7? Curious what your reasoning is for that in particular
@@WesDoesGames Zero and ZX are kinda short sagas unless you manage to stretch them out if you ever get to them.
@@jammitylam The 2 Ride Chaser stages in X8 are just that bad to me and I choose X7 as my poison over those.
Man, a malware free Bonzai Buddy would be amazing.
Clippy can piss right off. I never liked him or the way he insisted upon himself.
I hope you're gonna talk about 2B and Eve in your robobooba video.
Still waiting for Capcom to re-release MegaMan X6 in actual English.
In all honesty, the commercial for X8 made it look way too good.
Wow?! This is a level of gaming regret I thought I'd never live to see. You actually would take Superman 64 over X7?! I never got to play it myself, and I'm so grateful I managed to avoid the experience. You truly took one for the team.
What is the outro theme? Its so familiar but I cant quite place it!
Battle Network victory theme
@@WesDoesGames Thanks! It was driving me crazy lol
13:43 - Hold on, isn't that just a remix of the Deep-Sea Base theme in X2?
1:01:38
Don't shit on X7's music. I prefer it to X3 and X8's music
I kinda liked the mobile Dive game. But never got the offline one because I didn't want to recollect stuff I already had in the original version. (and then you nailed that point completely lol)
It's a shame you cant carry over stuff :(
18:39 well thing about that is that battle network and starforcr could never be apart of the main timeline because in order for those two to happen the OG Dr Light had to change intrests from robotics to internet related research ehich would mean non of the robots were ever made
I like that as a fan theory but was that ever explicitly said in any of the games? I can't recall
@@WesDoesGames more nerding out so be prepared
something I didnt even realize tadashi hikari (yuichiro hikari's father and lan hikari's grandpa ) was the actual name for battle network Thomas Light
while there is not explicit confirmation of a timeline split there are some huge bits of discrepancy
19xx Tadashi and Wily work on soul net then the two split off, BNWily doing robotics just like in classic while Tadashi focuses on internet related work.
by 20xx in the battle network timeline the events of battle network happen with no mention of Thomas or Wily remember Wily's actions alone had a huge negative effect on robotics most likely being the main contributing factor for the robot expiration laws and the creator of roboenza which would have probably been well known to the whole world
then there is megaman X and megaman Zero . with the X series that happens in 21xx which is only a century before the events of StarForce again they would have probably mentioned reploids and the sigma virus in star force(remember star force and battle network are worlds where people actively fight viruses daily to the point where its somewhat of a sport). then with the Zero series star force is right within the timeframe between that and the X series, aka the timeframe where the elf wars take place, the same war that killed over half of all humanity and 90 percent of reploids
again not explicit evidence but there are things that dont add up when you think about the idea of battle network and starforce like how there is a zero virus navi in network transmission
big comfy couch was fire, just saying.
You can acess the 2nd set of boss anytime in X5
That original Megaman X Collection was sappose to be alot more but from my understanding many updates/feature enhancements got cut do to the PSP remakes being greenlight in the background. Unfortunately i dont know if any source information is still around to verify that. But i remember following the updates back in the day, and then finding out they got scrapped for the psp remakes that as we known didnt get past the first game...
XD i made this comment as I was actively watching... you did mention what I was talking about, lol. My bad
lol no it's cool that someone else could verify it, and that I wasn't completely misremembering
What!? I didn't know that 32:55. I had a really hard time beating that asshole and had no idea what was going on when I did my play through. I just thought it was some cheap shit. 😅
I've seen dozens of videos talking about and reviewing Megaman X series and it seems I always keep watching them. God... maybe I truly miss the series haha
My ranking would be from worst to best:X7, X8, command mission, X2, X, X6, X4, X3, X5.
Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. X6's soundtrack grew on me a bit more after some replays
When the player refises to understand your mechanics but you're just a chill nightmare who lowkey don't care
The actual truth: The Rise of the NeXt Generation Gamer, which was not me.
Capcom should have stopped at x5 and made legends 3.
1:29:33 Dude......Slash Beast
18:37 pretty sure battle network and starforce series is in the same universe
nope that because og dr light in those games decided to focus on internet related stuff in the battle network/starforce universe unlike in the timeline of og megaman thru legends
@spiritpyros ahh i mean battle network and starforce is in their own same universe.
X7 was my favorite X game as i was playing it. I found the game really fun after you unlock X, and while i hate that X is an unlockabke character in his own game, but it's hilarious that capcom thought that was a good idea
Wow people just love capping on X-5 through X-7 witch i honestly haven't had any problems with.
the only game i give a lot of flack is X5, despite that i still like it i'm a lot more critical with it than the others because it was intended to be the last game in the series
The drop in quality was noticeable for X5 and 6, even as I played them both multiple times over. It's OK to recognize that things were bad (or just not as good as what came before them) even if we still like them.
Never played X7 because it looked dumb
The rocks that sinks in lava 😅
48:41 depression.
29:53 - It was a mistranslation of "Metal Shark PREYER".
Was the first original bubsy game good or mid
Your intro is so similar to another channel I watch, Gaming Broductions. It's not a bad thing cos I enjoy both yours and theirs. Any chance they were nade by the same person/people? Or at least the music composed by the same person/people? Check out Gaming Broductions intro and I think you'll understand what I mean
I like that channel! They're cool
Lion has been used only not in name. Slash beast was a lion.
The fall of Mega Man X.
X5 was kinda sucks. X6 is meh.
X7…
You get the point
X8 can go home that game was good. 👍🏻
Capcom is the Netflix of video games lol
X5 has its share of issues but it is still playable though... I can play X5 and have a great time.. X6,X7,and X8 I can do without those 3... it stops for me at X5
What do you mean fall its one of the most iconic games of all time
Is there a new Mega Man game coming out? Why am I all of a sudden getting these new and old MGX videos recommended to me? 😂
I just felt like playing these on a whim. Not topical to a new release, I'm afraid 😅
@@WesDoesGamesLOL I love that. The algorithm just decided to hit me with nostalgia. I'm glad you made this video. Megaman needs more love!
When was the last time you played FE Heroes to call it watered down ? If anything, it’s quickly become one of the most complex games 😭
About a year ago. It was Tic-tac-to...And I'm saying this as a huge FE fan. Has it gotten better since then?
But with all the positioning mechanics, the movement assists and the thousands of skill, the game is complex if you ask me
Leaving comment for algorithm.
You know what's up
A title cute so deep but never been truer
It blows my mind that the last X game was 20 years ago
roboobs video plz
Awesome compilation
Love the adult swim caption callbacks
Agree with all your rankings as well.
Avoided mmx dive. Even more so glad i did after seeing your review.

Glad you liked it!
Bro i just watched the rise and fall of your megaman x videos will you also do one of Megaman and Megaman Battle Network and are you also a fan of kingdom hearts by any chance ^^
I love both. I'd like to do a kingdom hearts 1-3 video by the end of the next year. Battle network 2 I did a video on already if you want to check that one out
@WesDoesGames not 1 or 2 but all of them in one video 1 to 6 cant you do that instead that would be way better bro
23:20 Wrong! Unless it was meant to be english voiced in english environment japanese game like MGS, RE, DMC; then it is really better to use japanese voice with english subtitle. Especially in the 90's where the quality of english dub was far worse than japanese.
If you can’t speak Japanese, how can you possibly tell if the Japanese dialogue is better than the English? You can’t. You can only guess.
