I'm still very excited that this is more of a straightforward resto instead of a crazy widebody build. Also stoked on the Advans. They always look great.
OEM Silver & the GT's is a good colour combo. I had a silver car with grey wheels & never thought to change the wheels because I liked how the vehicle looked. Other colour's I think might look good on the Supra, a Toyota gunmetal with gold flake or Audi r8 Ipanema brown.
I've been a fan for years now. One thing I can mention is to please update the image quality of your video. Its look like an 720p video but the content is 200% and I love it
I Agree, Not to mention the "Value" thing he keeps talking about. Unless your painting the engine bay, floor, door jams, etc he should keep the the oem color.
Expensive wheels indeed! Looks great though. I remember the rims of my first car were $400 each in 2003 without tires, about $650 today. Seems like the prices haven't gone down at all.
@@eriklarson9137 It was 19 years ago, a few years before youtube was a thing, back when you didn't need to make a video of absolutely everything to prove yourself to some random stranger on the internet.
When I was a kid I remember my dad pulled a crumpled in rear section of a dodge intrepid out by welding two ends of a chain to the body where the damage was after having wrapped said chain around a 4 foot wide tree and just absolutely flooring it. It worked perfectly 🤣
i seen a supra in the uk a few years ago now. it was finished in a really dark burgundy which was done with a candy paint but looked so good when the light hit it. stunning....
A diamond in the rough. A great color for that MK4 Deep Jewel Green Metallic, since your in the "Evergreen State" You guys always keep the hard work & dedication flowing.
When you buttweld the pillars like thar it's best to sleeve inside gives the pillars more strength and welds easier cause you got a back plate instead of a hollow butt weld.. fyi future reference
I think the silver is just so classic on it 👌 great job on this! Love the build as always you know just what to pick. Can't wait until your done with the mustang also great work guys!
I started buying my metal from Metal Supermarket after seeing them on your channel. I didn't realize they were a national chain. Had one near me in Seattle and also here in Utah.
Here in Louisiana we have old school body shops with anchors built into the floors, set in concrete. Just chain the vehicle down and pull from a post very similar to what you guys did and I've used two trees to straighten out the front end of a Lincoln town car.
@Chris I hope someone reads this, your content is great as usual, for those of us watching it on a tv, that camera really is starting to show its age, I understand a 4k workflow is a pain but it could just be a downscale 4k to 1080p video files instead too from a newer camera body, that'll have way better image processing and wink wink maybe something with a bigger sensor too, at this point it's worth the investment, plus another camera body to have around too.
You could sink some anchor bolts into the floor and secure some anchor rings to the anchor bolts. That will hold your car while pulling on the unibody. I tie the car to a tree and use another tree to secure my mini mule come-a-long. Works like a charm. The Supra is coming along nicely! That car is going to look sick!
I think a darkish metallic orange to pay homage to tfatf would look good with the rims Plus the retro vibe of the car 90s Japanese cars and bright colors definitely go well together Plus if you can’t do a wide body you have to draw attention somehow Orange Supra will definitely draw attention
Soo hear me out okay? What about, drum rolls, a matt dark olive green supra 😍 I think thats original, gorgeous and a good match with the dark gray wheels! Dark green brake calipers would look sick too. Plus if you add carbon fiber parts, it would match the wheels and compliment the green.
I’ll show you guys how to weld these body panels together with no warping in a few……. cricket cricket lol. Love the build, can’t wait to see what’s next.
BODY COLOR: always been a fan of a sort of cream white with pearl. they look nice with slate and bronze wheels. especially if you already have gray or black interior.
I did some similar body work, also using a Land Rover as an anchor. 😂 I had a Ford Ranger that hit a deer and I needed to pull the radiator support back into shape, so I hooked one end of a ratchet strap to my Land Rover Discovery, and the other end to the Ranger and pulled it perfectly. Haha.
The ReDux kit looks good on that car, specially if it was a dark color. I have not seen one in yellow yet tho, but I always see them in black or red or midnight blue or green.
When you paint, PLEASE take out the engine and do the engine bay too! Stock color. Would love to see a G Series turbo upgrade and ENDLESS brake! Love the videos!
I know this won't get updated to ser this, but with the slight brown on the rims look into the Java black from the 2004 STI wrx. I would compliment the brown really well.
In my opinion. I feel like a bright colour for the body would complement those wheels really well. Maybe something fun and spicy like your green lambo? ❤️
Might look different in person, but those advans seem to give the same feel as carbon fiber, so with the rest of the carbon bits, I bet that'll be real cohesive. I'm sure that'll look amazing in any color imaginable
I'm still very excited that this is more of a straightforward resto instead of a crazy widebody build. Also stoked on the Advans. They always look great.
Royal Sapphire Blue would look great with the Advans, just the best most sought after OEM Supra color 😄
@@NTHthebest I'm not usually about making color choices because resale value, but I do agree that'd look great.
@@eriklarson9137 Speak for yourself buddy
I loudly let out an uncontrollable “thank the lord” when you unveiled those wheels!!!! Doing the Supra some justice!!!!! Looks amazing!!!!
^ what he said haha
agreed, a very smooth and clean design, plus looks like it MIGHT have been a thing back when the supra was fresh.
I'm not a fan of silver but for this car I would go with the stock silver color
Make it Royal Sapphire Blue OEM Supra color, absolutely the best one and it will look amazing with the wheels
Silver is the lamest most boring color ever... do like a sunset yellow 💛

Wait, no Konig wheels for the Supra?! That's totally unexpected! 😂😂
He did say expensive
@@KadeSyx "Konig is for broke"
You mean Konig is for budget. Or Chris says. Economical.

Go with like a dark British Racing Green. Would look good with the subtle brown from the wheels.
It’s going to look like a tj hunt car.
@@BETAsin Already has his wheels ;)
If Oscar cant do it then no one can, he is the MacGyver of automotive fabrication and body work.
the only thing oscar doesnt look comfortable doing is being on camera hahaha
OSCAR DID A GREAT JOB! hahahaha
That rear chonky tyre is perfect, don’t down size… add more chonk to the front and give it a real aggressive track tyre stance 👌
I've been a fan for years now. One thing I can mention is to please update the image quality of your video. Its look like an 720p video but the content is 200% and I love it

My first set I bought for a car were $149 per wheel without tires
$400 for the set with tires for me haha. I don't think I could spend 2k+ on wheels
First set of alloys I bought, £50 the lot. 🤣

You guys need to get a frame pulling rig!! I think i would be a massive upgrade for your builds and you will benefit alot from it.
*Royal Sapphire Blue would look the absolute best with those wheels and its a wanted Oem color*
Brilliant! And Oscar working his magic again!!!
Can't wait for the custom single seater cause y'all deliver every time
Im going with white for the color.. always a clean nice look. Pearls if you wanna get fancy..
Love the five spokes finally something simple and clean
Love how humble oscar is, id like to see what projects he has!
Candy Apple Gold for paint colour, Top Secret in Japan Supra's were gold and looked insane.

Supra's have a factory colour called Emerald green - Code is 6p3 from memory

Keep the Supra a factory color, whichever color you decide to use, otherwise you will devalue it. Best to keep it the original color.
Orange skittle Supra!
Yes! OEM Royal Sapphire Blue
Chameleon or pearl
Would love to see a Saffron pearl color. Volvo used it on the v70R back in the days. Looks great!
Nice work Oscar. Nice uploading Chris.
I think the silver is just so classic on it 👌 great job on this! Love the build as always you know just what to pick. Can't wait until your done with the mustang also great work guys!
Don't paint it silver chris. Give it a really nice paint job with a pearl in it.
I agree don't molest the wheels, match them. Back to factory silver would be a good choice. You could tint the clear coat brown or green.
yes!
Respraying in the oem silver would help the value of the car if you don't plan on pulling the engine and interior to do the respray.
I've always loved a clean white mk4 myself
🔥🔥Go with the deep red that the turbos came in👏👏👏👏

I started buying my metal from Metal Supermarket after seeing them on your channel. I didn't realize they were a national chain. Had one near me in Seattle and also here in Utah.
You should keep it silver, but go with something like titanium silver pearl. It's a beautiful color and would contrast the wheels perfectly.
I'm in love with dark brown cars! would love to see some kind of dark brown with a possible gold metallic or something in those lines
Here in Louisiana we have old school body shops with anchors built into the floors, set in concrete. Just chain the vehicle down and pull from a post very similar to what you guys did and I've used two trees to straighten out the front end of a Lincoln town car.
White on a supra is such a good look, and quite difficult to beat

Personal I'd paint it the original silver. Or use the same colour as the wheels .both would really suit the style you're aiming for.
The jet black or gun metal silver color for the Supra!!
I think a darkish metallic orange to pay homage to tfatf would look good with the rims
Plus the retro vibe of the car
90s Japanese cars and bright colors definitely go well together
Plus if you can’t do a wide body you have to draw attention somehow

Rims look great. Awaiting the finished product with paint and cool front seats
I love the frame work it reminds me of some body shops i knew a while ago "Find a tree frame worx".
Love the wheels. Build is coming together! For the paint color, if resale is a possibility, hard to go wrong with black or white.
White for sure, you can see all the details.
Would rather see some more interesting colors, but you're right, can't go wrong.

Oscar is a freaking artist!!!
I’m in vote to keep it silver! But I would never mind seeing a wrap done on this build!
You are using the same music as C.W.Lemoine and he is great Fighter Pilot and Corvette enthusiast , cool guy with similar music taste!
Love the build!
Really liking the Supra build. Can’t wait for more and the boat build to be back
Killing it on this build and those wheels are gorgeous!
OSCAR the wizard! He can do everything!! Great job, looks awesome!
I personally like the meaty tire in the back a lot gives it that drag look. But the front def does need more meat.

Supra boy here. There are a few really nice oem colours you could choose. - Code 8l5 & 6p3 are two goodies

BODY COLOR: always been a fan of a sort of cream white with pearl. they look nice with slate and bronze wheels. especially if you already have gray or black interior.
Wheels are actually sick and the car looks dope and just like his black mk4
Color my two cents.
Black
Dark red
Pearlescent white
Dark gun metal gray
Metallics and pearlescent colors are always just so cool.

Check out Mazda’s “Soul Red” it’s a really deep red that they’re currently using, absolutely gorgeous color.
bright blue would look good with those wheels
Would love a darker yellow or gold-ish color on the supra... Would look awesome with those rims. Great content again, thanks guys
I was thinking something on the same line or even maybe, a bold dark red paint with carbon would look good too I think.
Hey for pulling panels and such on cars put some hilti bolts in your concrete it works amazing!! Now back to the video 😁
A nice bronze color might go well with those wheels.

With the dark grey wheels with a hit of brown, maybe a silver car with a hit of navy in it
break upgrade is a must!!! waiting to see the finished car
This might be a crazy thought but Cocoa Bean Metallic from the 686 Parklan Edition xB would look sick with that wheel color.
In my opinion. I feel like a bright colour for the body would complement those wheels really well. Maybe something fun and spicy like your green lambo? ❤️
I feel an OEM Toyota Pearl white would be an awesome color, either Eminent White or Blizzard Pearl.
Paint it that oem dark forest green, with maybe a touch more yellow or gold to it.
That would be awesome 😎
I've watched every episode since the twin turbo mustang. Thanks for duing what you guys do!
Deep Jewel Green is a perfect oem supra color combined with those wheels and carbon fiber. I would pick that one.

Audi’s Nogaro blue or another bright blue color would look great on the Supra’s and those wheels
I'm sure those factory r34 rims, that were on it previously, will fetch a nice sum.
I think a grabber blue type of color would look awesome on this one!
Repaint OEM and then wrap if you want flare. Resale is going to be higher with original paint if you ever want to sell that is.
Pearl white would look sick with the color flop on those wheels!
Loving this build. Keep them coming. But, I'm also excited for the next Boat update.

I still stand by my comment on the last video, Rapid Red Metallic is the way to go!!!
I think it's very very safe to say that Oscar needs a huge raise. This channel wouldn't be half as productive without his insane skills.
I would love to see it painted in the OEM Deep Jewel Green Pearl color. It’ll go perfect with those wheels!!!
Damn those 5 spoke wheels are gorgeous
you should do like a dark/space gray, i think it would compliment the wheels and carbon fiber very well
I love this type of work, perfect colorway for the wheels too 👍
