- In this tutorial I will teach you how to crochet this lovely lacy doily heart. You can use a lace weight yarn and hook to create this or you can use a worsted weight yarn like I do in this video. I hope you enjoy making this pretty crochet heart.

Just made a blue one with lace yarn and 3mm hook. It’s more of table decor then a doily because it’s small but I love it! Thank you so much for this!

The heart in the thumbnail is a bit more airy than the one you're making in the video, do you know how to get it more like the thumbnail? But really great tutorial 😊
For that one instead of doing the clusters and chains I just did one treble crochet and then the chains. It came out more like a wheel.

Could I do this with size 10 thread? If I do, what size hook should I use?
Yes!! It would be beautiful. I would use the size hook that the thread recommends.
Or whatever hook you are most comfortable with.
